Droid camera ISO

OK I'm not here to start a flame war, but listen to me. The camera on this phone is just terrible due to high levels of noise. In face, I can take an Imagio or Omnia 2, which have 5mp cameras and take a photo with each device. Compare these 2 shots for the droid and it seems that the droid has been shooting on a disposable camera... seriously. So my question is, since it is a 5mp camera and it should be able to take better pictures, is it possible to manually adjust the ISO levels? Is this a problem with the sensor or the software? There is something really wrong with the camera. Thank God they got fixed auto focus, but man it's just about useless with this low quality.

OK, I'll tell you what you want to hear... the maintenance patch will handle obvious software problems with the camera.  Now, close your eyes and click your heels together 3 times.  Sorry, it's the best I can do on such short notice.    -Dan

  • F(ISO,Camera) noise reduction?

Could there be some sort of "Preset".

    Out-of-pipeline?

If you make the choice in the preferences to apply the default development by ISO actions AND by camera, you can re - save your default settings using a series of shots for each ISO for this camera setting.  Then during the import of this camera, LR will check the ISO and apply all that you had previously defined for the default values for this combination camera / ISO.  I use this for my two cameras and it works fine.  I keep a folder separated for the 'default setting pictures' by which I can always go back to them determine if I want to change my default settings, move forward.

It works well, but don't forget to save a default value for each ISO setting possible.

  • I do not understand how is calculate 21 Mpx for camera

    Hello

Features for Xperia Z3, there are:

    camera

         20.7 Megapixel camera with autofocus
         2.2 MP front camera
         ISO 12800

When I take a picture of the front, the image is 1920 * 1080, = 2 073 600 pixels, which does not exactly match 2.2 MP.
But with a photo taken at the back, we get 3840 * 2160 = 8 294 400 pixels. Is far from the 20.7 million pixels.

Is there a mistake in the definitions of the characteristics?

To change the quality manual auto, type right on the yellow circle with a camera and an i inside, then select Manual (M).

Y at - it a shortcut to activate the bluetooth on and outside without going through the drawer of applications, settings, etc. ? My original Droid came with a handy app that I put on the home screen. The power control widget should allow you to quickly enable or disable bluetooth

    1. help PDAF or say autofocus hybrid video to eliminate hunting

2 make it possible to use autofocus hybrid or PDAF with alpha on LA - EA1 lens

3 give us the opportunity to create the AUTO ISO in manual mode. Since we have 2 dials it would be perfect to set the shutter speed and the opening of the dials and leave the camera ISO corresponding desired EV

    4. we give the possibility to define a function for the second dial and S Mode

5 give. us the possibility to select and delete several photos at once in the Viewer

    6. (gordonshamway) allow control to remotely operate in any mode of the camera and have exactly the same result as pressing the shutter button. I would like to see possible with modes, Auto HDR, handheld shooting Twighlight (even if it's the name of the absurdity of the scene mode) continuous and bracketing.

    7. (micktravis) the opportunity of the development through one of the two keys

    8. (antifocus) more ISO small steps

    9. (Other1) (me) let us set a max AUTO ISO and min. shutter, so that we can prevent the ISO to jump too high and if use manual lens shutter is are not below the 1 /(FL*1,5) (as on the Nikon DSLRs)

    10. (antifocus) instead of pressing the button to change the exposure compensation, just use the second wheel for her

    11. (XmattX) in playback mode, switch between images while zoomed in, he would make comparison sharpness in a lot of pictures so much easier

    12. (DanielKit) Zoom functions should just crop the image. It is not necessary for interpolation and enlarge the image to 16 M

    13. (DanielKit) if possible, let this crop/zoom in RAW as well!

    14. (I) function real killer: many people in fact denies using tune-up manual assist zoom because it is difficult to compose without seeing your borders the picture. Dpreview SQLGuy suggested, to make "a partial view of magnification. It works like this: the borders of the image are not changed, in the Middle, there is a square that showes the manual zoom in to help. Also, I'd appreciate it if you could edit the manual development assistance magnigication! I think it's far to high magnificated!

  • Lost details and black when you export the final image

    Hi guys,.

Recently when I finish editing a picture in LR5, I noticed that the detail of the image have been tarnished down and blurry when it was open in the develop module.

Ive double checked everything from the color space, image format, quality level, even tried to download one of the images exported on my site in the hope that it was something wrong with the preview, but it looks the same.

Only other thing I noticed when I discover the image in 'library' mode, it loses detail as well as the exported version. Only when its in "develop" mode is when it shows the real detail and treated quickly blacks I upgraded. And it didn't used to do this. So Im hoping that I've accidentally changed a button and it didn't...

If anyone has information or can point me in the right direction of something that can help solve the problems or solve this problem, I would really appreciate any info!

The library and export modules use a more accurate algorithm that the module development of resizing. Normally the previews of module development and library will look nearly identical to the less than 1:1 Zoom mode (i.e. Fit view). When they are not it is generally an indication that excessive sharpening and/or insufficient Luminance Noise Reduction is applied to the image. This causes the image to appear "lighter" and "weaker" in the library module and files for export because of excessive noise. The overview of the develop module uses a faster (less accurate) resizing algorithm in order to avoid the 'delay' when the adjustment slider. This can cause the image to appear sharper and less noisy that the library module overview to the Zoom display settings lower than 1:1 Zoom.

As Jao vdL mentioned, 'ONLY to touch the sliders detail with zoom 1:1 to develop. ' The library module previews need to be "rebuilt" after setting in the development of a set of images module. You can do this by clicking on the image in the library module (Zoom 1:1 mode) or by selecting ALL images edited using menu library > previews > Build Standard or 1:1 previews.

This set of pictures were probably shot with an higher in the camera ISO setting (> 800 ISO). High ISO images usually require a 25 Luminance Noise reduction setting, or even higher if the image file is underexposed.

What is ISO for these image files display.

  • PSE8 removes EXIF data?

I used PSE8 to remove red eye from a picture and noticed that when I save the file, it creates the XMP data but removes EXIF data. How can I keep the EXIF data, because I don't want to delete it? I did some research but other than using EXIFTool to move data back to EXIF, XMP I do not see how to keep after editing and recording.

Here's what happens: PSE is deletion of article of MakerNotes exclusive of the manufacturer of the metadata.  Each manufacturer has its own format for fields MakerNotes, which encode many details on the camera, lens and exposure.  Most programs keep properly the MakerNotes, due to the poor design of the MakerNotes from the manufacturers.

PSE is preserving all the standard EXIF fields (model camera, ISO, F number, duration of exposure, program exposure, etc.).  PSE is also adding a new section XMP metadata, copying the standard EXIF fields of industry in the XMP section.

It is regrettable that the PSE often removes the MakerNotes section.  On the other hand, but most basic exposure information are stored in EXIF and XMP of industry standard fields.  And if you keep the unpublished originals (always a good practice), you always have access to the MakerNotes (although a bit inconvenient).

See attached files for the dumping of Exiftool metadata from the two files:

  • Should I charge the battery on my NEW phone, or drain before charging them.

I just got the new Motorola DROID. I use my phone a lot, so I want to make sure I have keep the longest possible battery life. The employee who helped me to the Verison store told me not to worry charing the phone immediately, and it's only something that needed to be done with the old phone batteries. In the box with my Droid came instructions that said to charge the battery for a full 12 hours to ensure the smooth operation and maximum battery life. Which is correct?

Load completely before use.  12 hours is not fair.  Load until the light goes out.  Air conditioning is not necessary on these batteries.  And, if possible, they should not be drained completely between charges.  There are several good sites FAQ for battery litium on internet.

  • Why no camera no button on the Droid 4?

I do not understand why Motorola has decided to not include a camera on Droid 4 button (or 3 also). I use the camera button on my Droid whenever I want to take a picture because it is a quick and easy way to do it. The Droid 4 requires me to go home, then in the app drawer on-screen if I do not have the shortcut. How is it an improvement? What person does not really use the camera on their Droid?

Oh no, it isn't, at least not on my D4. There are now three actions on the control panel lock, unlock, silence and camera.

  • DROID MAXX camera & Dock car Griffin

I think I found a bug using the camera while the camera is embedded in the car Dock Griffin. Not a big deal, but it would be great if this could be studied, and possibly fixed in a future update of camera for the Droid Maxx. I have attached a photo of the dock that I use and some screenshots in a word document.

    Firmware: 12.7.7.obake

UPDATE: I went and spoke with a representative of Verizon and it was able to verify this bug with an all new MAXX DROID and a brand new Griffin Car Dock it in the store. So I'm leaning towards it being a bug in the software of the camera or something that has to do with the tag NFC in the car Dock Griffin himself.

    Thank you

    Brandon

I reported this to Matt. I saw the same thing on my Maxx. I was able to select the entire document, but it sure is not appear correctly. Thanks again for reporting this.

  • Camera on original DROID problems

My camera will take pictures and you can see the Preview on the screen for a few seconds, then when it goes back to the camera with the Gallery at the top right, the photo shows black here. You try to pull up in the Gallery, and it's all black. If I reboot my phone at this stage, these new images will disappear all together. Anyone ever had this problem? Any ideas?

The first thing I would try is a battery pull. Turn off the phone, remove the battery for at least a minute and power back on and test.

If this does not work, I would try to erase data in the app Tap camera Home > Menu > settings > Applications > manage applications > all > camera > clear data > OK > home. Now a test to see if that helps. Also, you may restart the phone at this stage for good measure.

If that doesn't work after the results, and we can try something else. I hope this helps.

    Hello

Please, someone tell me how can I set my Canon Rebel T5 at 1/125, F11 and ISO 100?

I tried a lot of things with no success... I can always change 2 settings, but never a 3rd.

    Please help me!

    Thanks in advance

If the mode dial is set to "M", then you should be able to set one of these three values for everything you want.
