  The simple answer is pretty well no matter what lens, but to give the results you need depends on your expectations and end-use. If you want to provide shots to a client and it'll print 8 feet high, then the sharpest lens you can get will be a must, but if it's only for ads on ebay then a basic kit lens will suffice!

  First of all, the most important thing to get right is the lighting. I know say you you have the necessary kit, but it does not mean that it is easy to do things and jewellery is particularly difficult. The trick is to get the levels just to show the metal involved and stones as naturally as possible, limit the reflections and shadows.

  I think that what you are experiencing is not the difference between the import from camera or card reader import, but the difference between working with Raws and working with JPEG files. The camera lens correction only applies to the JPEG made by the camera and no not the Raw file.

  What are your settings in the preferences-> "treat JPEG files next files to raw as separate photos? You are shooting Raw + JPEG?

  I saw that too. For now, the workaround is that if you select 'Edit watermark,' when you are done editing be sure to reselect the same watermark. If you do not, the watermark menu will be empty.

  I had just use the tool burn on those.

  Since they are little blue, you will want to do separately on individual color channels.  Place the tool burn shadows, and a small amount of exposure, say 10% and the airbrush mode.  Slowly, work the brush in compared to the size and toughness to match the spot size, sizing and try not to rush anything.  Once you get the place removed from all 3 color channels, you should find that it looks pretty good in RGB (color).  If you find you need more space, or go too far, use history and go back and try again.

  

  Is the razor wire along the section of wall on the side of the property next door?  If so, I wonder if it would be incorrect to remove it from the image...  The trash bags should probably go too...

  Your observations are accurate. The 'suggestions' are previous entries in the same column that correspond to what has been entered so far in the active cell. The only direct user control is to activate the function turn on or off in numbers preferences > general.

  There are other ways to include or exclude items of suggestions:

  • To remove typos in the suggestions list, the user must correct the typos in the cell above the active cell. If they are more in the list, they won't be presented as suggestions.
  • To include selections added to the list, the user must enter these suggestions in the individual cells above the active cell and column where they are wanted as suggestions.

  There was a request here a while there is a list of suggestion 'live' similar to those of some websites, which offers a descending list of possible entries as a type in an input box.

  The only way I see to reach a solution similar to what you have asked is to use as many lines at the top of the non-en-tete of the table section to list the items likely to repeat in your table, and then hide the lines. You'll need a list for each column where you want to use this feature with a list previously planted. Existing items will then require a likely hit up to three, then a click to choose from a list small enough to enter a value into a cell.   I use the windows on-screen keyboard 95% of the time. And I would usually place in the middle of the window when in use. When I need to type in the search box, and even if the screen keyboard it is set to always on top, it always goes IN the drop-down search suggestions, which blocks my ability to keep typing. I have to stop typing and move the OSK to the right or the left beyond the border right or left of the search box or move it to everything at the top of the window or down out of the way the drop-down list. Then, this highlights the text that I already typed, forcing me to click at the end of it, or start over (once I moved the OSK out of his way). Even though I have disabled search suggestions still has a drop down menu which blocks the OSK (position/size/length of the search along the top box and the position of the OSK are where I love them bc of my poor eyesight). The address bar does the same. I want to know if there is a way to keep the search drop-down box UNDER the OSK while I type? It's a long question, I apologize, but it's a little wordy to describe. See the photo and I'm sure that you will understand what I mean. The OSK is always set to "Always on top" in Win 7 Premium

  It looks like a work in progress for programmers. I wonder if this thread could be redirected to them? I'm ready for this mark as resolved for me personally, that the behavior of the drop-down menu 'old' shorter is easy {er} to avoid now and also provides suggestions less and less that I type in the query (which therefore relieves my annoyance).

  The OSK should, logically, remain on top, right? Ah even though it IS hard to read them with a keyboard in the way... this is defined as a conundrum for those that would, like me, to read both the helpful suggestions and the keyboard letters at the same time.
