Dual display configuration

I think I have 2 monitors for my next PC. However, the question I have is that I want the primary monitor to be right and the second monitor to be on the left. That means I want the start menu and taskbar on the right screen. There is no way for me to test now if that goal is achievable. Is it possible to configure this in Windows 7?

The main display has to get the taskbar - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/10388-display-change-main-display.html

Additional information - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/move-windows-between-multiple-monitors#1TC=windows-7

But there seems to be a limit in certain circumstances - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2002029/en-us

There are 3rd party apps (I have not tried) that can put a taskbar on each monitor if the worst happens. Applications like - http://www.howtogeek.com/94920/dual-monitor-taskbar-is-an-open-source-taskbar-extender-for-windows-7/ there are others. As I say I did not tried them so not say how good or bad they are.

  • T530 multiple display configuration

I have the T530 with NVIDIA Optimus option that should allow a triple (two external displays and laptop LCD) display configuration.

I was able to get a job with computer configuration portable LCD and two external displays on DisplayPort through the docking station.

I found on some startup programs, I'm either stuck with just the laptop LCD as the view-only or that I am able to turn on a single screen. Sometimes a reboot it will change, sometimes it won't.

What is strange, is that the NVIDIA Control Panel and the Windows display settings show all three screens LCD, I'm not able to turn on one or both of the external screens (even if I turn off the laptop LCD).

Someone at - he found a solution to this problem?

    Thank you!

    Hi, admarsha

There are available for your BIOS and Optimus updates that can help with this. The update of the BIOS can be found here and the Optimus update can be found here. Research on the file Readme for the Nvidia update, part of the update help issues related to several screens via a docking station, so it may be useful.

  • Dual display for Pavilion Elite HPE - 580 t with NVIDIA GeForce GT 420

recently bought Pavilion 580t for my wife. Updated to NVIDIA GeForce GT 420 map graphics. But there are currently not able to determine if it supports dual display. When you check the Nvidia site, he says that all the stuff here. But this has only a DVI port. It also has an HDMI port. Do I need a spliter any for this?  Or can I use the HDMI port for a monitor (if the new monitors even come with this exit) and DVI for others (currently using the VGA adapter)?

I upgraded the stock graphics card when placing your order. I hope that I did a bonehead move and will still need to buy another graphics card.

    Thank you.

Al final dejo lo descrito representando imagenes.

How puedo hacer para as local video el y remote del SX20 is monitored separately cuando en muestre no is envia contenido?

Esta el archivo del terminal config Editor

    English version. Frances version:

    Hello, everyone.

I have Cisco and C20 SX20 endpoints. Both with dual display of the license.

    1. when the C20 is inactive, monitor 1 and 2 show the local video. If I connect a PC to the content source and then the monitor 2 shows.

2 - when the SX20 is idle, just monitor 1 local video shows. If I connect a PC to the content source and then the monitor 2 shows.

    3. when the C20 is a call, 1 shows the remote video monitor and monitor 2 local video. While content sharing monitor 1 video shows distance and PIP local video, monitor 2 displays the content.

4 while the SX20 is a call, monitor 1 video shows distance and PIP local video, monitor 2 gray yet. While content sharing monitor 1 video shows distance and PIP local video, monitor 2 displays the content.

At the end are 2 pictures that show the problem.

I want to watch the video video in separate screens where the content is not sharing (SX20) remote and local. How can I do?

    The xconfiguration endpoint is attached.

Note: Sorry if my English is not so good.

    No sharing of content:

I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance

    Hello Sharong-

Change the following two parameters on your codec, and this should help you to what you want.  When TC6 came out and Cisco introduces new options of selfview, it changed how the codec have behaved and treated the selfview when using dual display.

Video SelfviewDefault FullscreenMode: OnVideo SelfviewDefault OnMonitorRole: Second

When content is sent, it will display on your secondary display selfview becomes a GLITCH on the first view  OnMonitorRole will on your second screen selfview when content is not displayed, and modepleinecran make selfview display full-screen when it is on the second screen instead of a PIP.

  • SX20 without dual display capable to share the presentation?

    Hello

I would just clear my doubt

SX20 is without option of dual display capable to share the presentation.

If I understand correctly the SX20 installation sheet

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/quick-set-SX20/installation_guide/sx20_quick_set_installation_sheet_for_web.PDF

Connect your main display on the HDMI color blue.

With the dual display option, connect the second screen to the other HDMI output.

It means that I can still share presentation even without dual display option

    Best regards

    Titebiket

    Hello

Yes, you need not dual display of the presentation.

  • How photoshop round of dual display, each with a different profile?

I am looking to buy the dual display for photo editing and would like to have each calibrated and profiled differently - 1 for web output and one for the print output. I use Mac OS and I understand that ICC (Photoshop and Lightroom) compatible applications use the system default profile to display the colors regardless of the operating system. I'm curious to know if photoshop is capable of managing 2 display profiles stored on the system to match each display? I am concerned that 1 only one profile can be defined by default and that he will use this profile for both screens.

Yes, it uses a different profile for each monitor.

But your thinking is dead wrong.  You do not calibrate and profile a monitor 'to print' or 'Web'.

You calibrate and profile a monitor to display the colors better, more precise and natural, it can handle.

The output is considered through Proofing (menu items "test" and "test colors" in the display menu of Photoshop), a topic on which you need to do a lot of reading.  Start with the help files in Photoshop.

  • Dual display feature works not

I work with the latest version of Speedgrade CC on an iMac 2010 running OS X 10.9, I also have a secondary screen connected to the iMac. When I activate dual display output, nothing appears on the other screen. I can see what needs to be on the second screen when I launch the application in the control of the Mission and he said "double active screen or SDI output" but when I try and go in the display using mission control, nothing happens. The MenuBar at the top of the screen, I see that I am using Speedgrade on this screen, but I can't see the video.

Thank you. After browsing a bit more, I realized that it has been moved more than 1920 which meant that it was on a non-existent right display. Moving to-1920 left him.

  • B570 display fails after the display dual display

After doing that my B570 (1068) with an extended display, the unit has entered hibernation. Wake up, the laptop screen is indecipherable garbage. The second screen is performed to show the BIOS boot but then returns to the built-in screen - what is unreadable. Activating/Deactivating the F3 key does not get a good screen.

I read another post suggesting that it is a hardware failure. What parts have failed?

I was able to get the machine to dual screens (instead of expand). I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel Intel and reinstalled successfully their.

The problem is still not changed - the built-in screen is distorted unintelligbly and the second screen normally. This signals a hardware problem... inverter or lcd display?

  • X 201 and an external monitor for dual display config.

    Dear all,

I use a 201 X in conjunction with an external TFT display in extended desktop configuration. The X 201 screen is used as a main. My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise.

There is a problem that was so irritating and I was unable to find a solution. The problem is that when running in this double configuration monitor, the desktop icons move if I place the mouse pointer close to the edges of the screen. The move off the screen in some cases such as only a few of them are still visible. This will not occur when you use only the X 201 panel without a connected external display. I know that this is no longer a problem of Windows 7 but I was wondering if anyone else with this configuration has noticed this rather strange and irritating behavior.

I've had the same problems for a few months now on my x200s.

I have just finally resolved by disabling the option "Enable automatic scrolling" in the view tab in the advanced settings of the display screen.

I don't know if it's the same as your option "animate controls and elements inside windows' well or if it is two different things.

  • change to dual display lamp

I have a dv9825nr and the display only stay on for about a minute before going empty, an external a spare part works fine. It is a dual lamp screen and I have a simple fire spare screen.  can you replace a double lamp with a screen of single lamp as well as the inverter?

The problem usually is the placement of the connection cables. Try laptopscreen.com and you can watch the screens and the placement of the connections. The screens are less than $60 with shipping.
