Hello and welcome to the HP support community!

This was caused by the upgrade of Android Kit Kat (4.4)

  • Change the amount of RAM of guest from the command interface operating system

    Hello

I'm not sure that this is possible and is the reason why I post this topic here (I hope I'm in the right place but I'm sorry if I'm not). Is it possible to update the allocation of memory in a guest from the command line operating system? My goal here is to improve the memory of the guest operating system from 1 GB to 4 GB and then schedule a reboot after hours before it takes effect on. Yet once, not for sure if this is possible, but thought I would ask.

    Thanks in advance,

    John

You can do this through PowerCLI. Check it out here:

  • Change of operating system on Satellite C855-1TC

I have a Toshiba Satellite C855 1TC and want to remove Windows 8.1 and replace it with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Does anyone have advice on this change in operating system?... .namely drivers availability etc.

    Hello

I visited the Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/dow...ivers_bios.jsp and I can confirm that your model of laptop (PSCBWE) is fully supported for Win7 64 bit so here, you can find all the necessary drivers and tools and utilities.

Before you begin to install Win7 create recovery (DVD or USB) media and backup recovery image. One day, if you want to have the factory settings once again you can use for installing Win8.1.

  • Archiving of Information on the older windows operating systems

    Hello reader,.

I wonder where I could find old information about windows operating systems, in the context of the source code for the windows XP operating system.

Also, what is the current status on a user changes an XP operating system.

As the XP operating system is no longer supported, it would be useful if a user can strip the unnecessary programs for example system essential safety who keeps popping up saying that it is out of date and require an update that we know will never happen.

Obviously we need to take alternative internet security precautions.

Security Essentials is no not part of Windows XP, so you can absolutely delete it.  Just go to control panel and choose "Add/Remove Programs", then delete the program from the list.

You can not access the source code for Windows XP.  It is no longer supported, but it will retain the copyright and protection of the DMCA for decades to come.

  • Computer that has crushed - I have to reinstall the same operating system to avoid losing files.

Basically, everything I've read about the BSOD "Unmountable boot error" I have tells me that I have to reinstall XP. The question is can I install a different operating system and not lose all my files on the computer? Thank you

    Hello

    ·        What is the exact error message that you encounter in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)?

    ·        You are able to boot into safe mode without any problem?

    ·        Remember to make changes to the system?

    ·        Do you have the XP CD with you?

    Method 1:

If you have the XP disc and then start in the recovery and then console perform a disk check. I suggest you to check the below link.

When you restart your computer or upgrade to Windows XP, you receive the error message "STOP 0x000000ED UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME".

    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=297185

    Method 2:

If this does not help, then you can install a parallel installation of Windows XP on the same drive and then copy the important files and folders that are present on the system to an external device (flash drive), then install a new copy of the Windows XP operating system. Follow the steps mentioned in the article given below to perform a parallel installation of Windows XP.

Follow method 4 that is listed in the article given below to perform a parallel installation of Windows XP.

How to install or upgrade to Windows XP

Copy the files to an external device, and then create a clean install the operating system.

I suggest you to check the links below, if you plan to install Windows Vista or Windows 7

I have a HP pavilion G6 2284 ca (C7C71UA #ABL). 3 months ago, I decided to change my operating system to windows 7 pro (I had windows 8), but 2 of my 3 USB port do not work. Adobe does not sell older versions of their software, the best you could expect if the software will not work on Vista is to get a refund.

Are made and shipped to the United States at the Canada Apple books and so have shipping and additional costs due to the change of currency? A book of dollar $50 USA could go to over $ 100.

Apple print products are quoted and charged in the local currency

and the calculation of your Exchange rate is whack too - the CD is $0.77 USD - no $0.. (50) but the exchange rate is not serious since quotes and fees are in local currency

  • Qosmio F30-114 - a problem with the installation of operating system

    Hi all
I have a problem during the installation of operating system from the recovery disk (Win XP Media Center Edition).
After loading the disc, I seen the installer welcome window, set up all the parameters in it and pressed the OK button.
After that, an error has occurred (in a black console window):

Check the type of partition MBR
    Not FOUND: Partition ID 4 is 0x00 not 0 x 88
    Seeking the TMBR
    No found TMBR!
    Fact.

Services of disk management cannot complete the operation.
    Specified drive does not exist.
ERROR: E:\04629R01 Reco-unpacking. TPA has failed!
    Press a key to continue...

After reading this message and pressing a computer key restarts and that's all that happens.
Also I can not install another OS (Win 7 for example), during the last part of an installation, I get a message "the work cannot be completed.".

That's happened? I don't understand what is the reason for this problem. I was reinstall another OS (the drive recovery too) often earlier and everything was OK.

You can install WXP using the Microsoft installation disc?
Set the BIOS on the settings by default and to use the recovery disk again.

  • Is there a practice of the Windows Server operating system environment?

I'm looking to get some practice with the Windows Server operating system (2008 or other).  I came across the downloadable 180 trial period, but I don't mean to create a true server temporarily.  I'm looking to be able to have a completely 'virtual world' where I can actually add devices and simulate connect with different computers, etc.  I want to create an environment of virtual server completely, not the 180-day trial period where I create an environment that can have real computers to connect to it.  Such a thing exists?

For example, I used a program called Packet Tracer that allows me to simulate the addition of routers, switches and high-end devices to create a whole network of Physics in a virtual environment.  I can configure devices with IP address and all that I can learn how to build a physical network.  I would like to do with the operating system Windows Server if possible.

    Thank you.
