  When I drag a clip in the project Panel in a sequence, everything works as indicated in the manual. And when I drag the same clip with the program monitor, everything works still fine - but I don't see any adjacent items displayed. How to view?

  This works when you drag the movie, not the program monitor.

• Problem with CS5 to crash during the insertion or deletion of page

  I have a legacy file (teaching manual) which was created in CS2 and has been edited and updated over the past two years with no problems. The file is about 360 pages, with about 30 illustrations, table of contents and index larger size. During the updating of the material today, I went back to insert a page because the text to overflow and InDesign crashed. This happens whenever I try to insert or delete a single page. I can insert a single page on the pages i to viii, but when I try to insert a page in InDesign Sec2:1 early crashes. I can open and close the file, and edit anywhere without any problem.

  If I insert 2 pages at a time, it works fine and I can run the text on the page. But when I delete the extra page that I don't need, it crashes. It doesn't seem to be specific to any specific master page in the file. I tried several times to export to an IDML file, reopen and save it in an InDesign file, but the same problem occurs.

  The same thing with the file on the same verson InDesign which is on my laptop. This problem does not occur with other InDesign files that I've created in the past. I need help. Thank you!

  I just thought some about this, so I'm glad you popped up again.

  Seems to me you have two choices, go back to the previous version which works and re-do much editing or try to fix later. If you want to go back, open the file and check the bey in the history of file holding the CTRL key while you choose about InDesign from the menu help. You will see the full backup history in the lower left corner of the dialog box. I check for the latest version, that it has been saved, then open the file in this version and export into .inx (in CS4 or earlier) or .idml .idml for CS5 or later, and then open the .idml in CS5 and save as a new .indd and proceed.

  The existing file, you can divide and conquer stuff, but like I said, I thought instead, and in your shoes I would probably ignore the first step and try to export to text marked for each story, and then build a new doc by placing the tagged text. If it seems to be OK, place the images again and go ahead.

  Whatever it is, I think you have some heavy lifting.

  I have categories and subcategories and they contain images. The images are in db with an order number, the lowest number is shown first on the Web site

  When I insert images (I have a multiple image uploader) all order numbers require updating. When I insert images of example 4, these 4 images stopped 1,2,3,4 and the order of the images already in the db (for this category) need to become the current order number + 4 and I don't know how to do this.

  I propose a different approach.

  If you stamp your db files, use this field to determine the order.  However, a simple query updated work.

  This looks like one of three things is unhealthy

  (1) your installation disc

  (2) your RAM

  (3) your hard drive,

  You must test each and then determine if its more cost effective to replace the unit or machine.

  (1) test the drive in another machine with IsoBuster - an analysis of surface and find if everything is OK if there are some errors present

  (2) tΘlΘcharger a RAM www.memtest.org - run at least 8 passes Tester and see if errors appear

  (3) download the utility from control of the manufacturer of the HD and create the bootable CD - do a quick scan and then the long scan of the hard drive and see what it reports.

  I'm not expert XP but I think that there may be somewhere where you can change when the AutoPlay window appears (for instance... for some things like USB and CD players).

  You can try these steps and see if it helps.

  Step 1:

  You can try reinstalling the SD card and see if it helps.

  a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

  b. Locate the device name in the list of Bus USB controllers.

  c. If you see the item on to the SD card, right-click on it and click on uninstall.

  d. restart the computer and check if that helps.

  Step 2:

  You can also format the SD card and see if it helps.

  You can make a backup of the data and format the SD card.

• No video during the insertion in a timeline

  I haven't used for awhile and recently cloned first my drive and updated for SSDS, which I doubt is bound.

  However, when I try to insert a video (mp4, mov, etc.) I can only slide on the side audio and of course, I just audio in the timeline panel. These work files video and even those I inserted on the first in the past.

  I'm sure its something that I did, but cannot not know outside. Normally when you drop the movie file you get tied up and audio video section below.

  is a very very very bad start for a question of aid - honestly. Its never a good idea to disrupt a forum before asking for their time to solve your problem. To delete the line of the display, you must remove the link layer and not in the morning (which should get updated automatically). Then in the dialog box change the logic to cancel it if you access the current row of the iterator
