I use photoshop elements 9 and need to download a photo shoot, I just took in NEF raw, but it gives me an error saying that it cannot open the photos. I read in another forum that it probably means that I don't have the latest update installed. I try to get the update and it gives me an error saying that photoshop is not available and to try again later. I'm on a time crunch and need to understand that as soon as possible if possible! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have windows xp. She badly needs updating. What is the most simple and quick way to update?
Hi Lynmiller,
· You install the service pack through Windows Update?
If so, you can try to install the update manually and check if it helps. In addition, it is important that you install SP3 because this update contains several other important updates and security updates.
Step 1: To install SP3, you must first have Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) or Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed.
Download details: Windows XP Service Pack 1a Express installation

I reformatted my HARD drive, reloaded XP SP2 Home. Download IE 8. I need XP SP 3, but now I can not access the updates... 0x8024400A error message.
Help please
Hello
Install SP3 by downloading and running from...
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=24
You can ignore the text that says it's for network installations and also ignore the text advising windows/microsoft update if a single update of a PC.
This should move your 0x8024400A problem. So try and get up-to-date with the Windows updates. You will probably have to go through Genuine Windows Validation.

all of the updates fail with Error 8007000 b code
The computer of my mother (HP Pavilion running Windows Vista 32-bit Home, 3 GB of RAM) is no longer up-to-date windows. Every time she trieds to run the MS Updater it fails with the error code 8007000 b. She has not been able to update in the last 3 months or more of what I can tell. I tried everything to a restore point (no luck) to download Windows Fix - it. That did not help either. Short of reinstalling Windows completely with a system restore, is there another way to solve this problem?
Some additional data - she rolls Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and I tried to turn off during the process of "update" to see if maybe that was the cause. It wasn't.
Thank you
Mark
A KB was created for the 8007000 b error code that appears when installing Microsoft Updates or Windows Update. The KB includes an automated Microsoft Fix it 50140 that corrects the problem.
Look at the following KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956699>
Suggest you download and save the fix it.
Then close all open programs and browsers before running MS fix 50140.msi.

I try to access it through Firefox. I have a printer HP Photosmart D110a. In this case, if I try to open a session as well as to try to create the log on.
Hey, I would try a different browser like IE or Google Chrome, it's the simplest solution. You may also erase cookies, history and cache of the current browser you get the error message on. Restarting the computer is another option to try too. I hope this helps.
