DV8T 1100 Entertaintment laptop driver

Please help, is my laptop HP Pavilion DV8T 1100 - Product Code: VF836AV.

Since the day I bought it (2 years ago), she has performed both problem as problem Quick Launch button, Wifi, Volume, Treble & Bass and hard, the driver suddenly stop working for about 1 min, then back to normal. I am very angry and disappointed and cannot return to HP because I'm in VN, shipping is difficult. So I tried to love it and solve the problem by day. Sorry, but somehow, I think Dell is better

Now, I search the Web site and don't ' see this HP support for this model driver more, Chipset, video, sound, card reader, media blah blah... Please tell me what I should do now. Thank you

By the way, happy new year to all CVS staff.

  • Toshiba laptop drive automatic error Code 10

Im getting a code 10 on my laptop drive automatic backup of toshiba. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling just says cannot start the device. I think im missing a hardware device driver, but I can't find this driver anywhere online. Can someone please help:)

    Hello Chan,

I found your posts on the Toshiba site, I take it no luck with the new replica? Also, have you tried to contact Toshiba technical support? It seems that they have heard of this problem before (based on many previous occasions this problem came) .f you don't have, I would say that you communicate with them.

That said, two possible solutions from another thread which may apply to your situation:

    1. Sometimes if a USB port not properly initialize on startup Windows installs a "unknown device" driver by default. Of course nothing plugged port at this time won't work. Sometimes it can continue to attribute this driver on the same port on subsequent reboots. Search for all entries 'unknown device' under Controllers USB in Device Manager then uninstall them. Right click on "Find the hardware changes" or reset must be reinstalled the correct USB device driver.
    2. The problem with the hard drive occurs if you turn on the USB drive after that the computer was started? Some interfaces of USB drive can interfere with Windows to detect the USB controller that they are connected correctly. Only seems to happen if the player is powered on while Windows starts.

I guess that Technical Support Toshiba offers these strategies you anyway, so you can as well try now them. Let me know if this helps you.

  • drive Blu - Ray dv8t-1100 is no longer reads Blu - Ray discs

The OS is Win7 Pro. The Blu - Ray player will read all CD and DVD and BD with no video content. I updated and verified that all software audio/video (MediaSmart, Media Center, Media Player, DivX and RealPlayer) are up-to-date. The BDs are not recognized by any program, and I get a message to insert a floppy disk. I understand that not all of the comics will play on all players, but these are all discs, I've played several times before. If you need additional information about the configuration of the system, let me know and I will provide. Thanx

I use Norton Security Suite for Comcast. The solution to my problem ranks right up there with "is it plugged in?

I took a small lint cloth and GENTLY wipe the blue read/write head. Problem solved! Please be others with the same problem, try this first. It can save a lot of upgrade.

    Thanks for your reply.

  • Pavilion dv4: Installer for HP laptop drive

This laptop came with Windows 7 pre-installed.  The hard disk starts to die.  Is it possible to get a Windows 7 installation disc (OEM I guess) so I can re - install Windows on a new hard drive?  Or do I have to go through Microsoft for this?

You have created a recovery media using the software on your laptop? This can be used to boot and install Windows 7 on a new hard drive.

  • HP 15 laptop: DRIVE HARD DO PARTITIONNE NOT VISIBLE AND INITIALIZATION is NOT POSSIBLE

My laptop worked fine until that currently when my brother introduced it is impossible to return to the start and the error message indicating that "no boot found device, took it back to where I bought it and they have installed a Windows 8.1 which worked for about 3 hours, then began trolling." tried to restart it to see if it will win its normal pase but it never restarted, it opens but could not pass the HP logo in the middle of the screen, when I took it back to the shop to check. They tried to reinstall the operating system, but the hard drive partitions are currently not visible. Help, please.

This message indicates that the file system is damaged, and as a result, one or more of the boot loader files is no longer working properly.  The general solution - that no matter what RENOWNED repair shop would know well - is to start repairing Windows Media and run Startup Repair machine, probably three times.  If that did not set her, the next step would be to start the computer from a hard disk utility and run a file system check.  If defective, which would be more likely to say that the hard drive was not - and then only, the reader will have to be replaced and windows resettled.

In addition, Win8.1 comes with quick start already on.  This force the machine to fall into a new form of hibernation when you stop - preventing access to the disk partitions hard while they are in this State.  Once more, any store repair FAME SAURIEZ cela and told for sure you.

Looks like where you bought is occupied by people who are incompetent when it comes to diagnose and repair Windows PCs.

I assume the unit is no longer under warranty, otherwise you would have contacted HP for repair.  But, that being said, your first step should be to contact the HP Support to see if you have repair options: Contact HP customer service | HP® customer support

An alternative would be to buy a new hard drive, order of HP recovery materials and use it to reinstall the machine.  See the details in the link: HP computers - getting HP discs recovery or a USB HP recovery disc | HP® customer support

  • Upgrade laptop XP on the new home network. Shared for laptop drives. Now computer laptop poster not the zip drives that I plug into the USB ports.

I have a xp desktop machine, an external hard drive, computer laptop xp and a computer laptop win7 on a network home via my Lynksys wireless router.  My friend attached external desktop.  Then shared these discs on the network.  He shared them as drives E and F.  I can access these drives very well.  The problem is that on the computer laptop xp now when I click on my computer if there is no zip drives or anything else connected to the computer laptop USB ports it does not show them.  If I go into Device Manager, it shows the mass storage device connected here.

Another thing.  If external that are shared and the desktop machine is turned off the coast, I can click the icon to the desktop and it displays the zip drive, that I plugged.  It's like I need to rename or remap something?

    Hi crazypainter,

When you plugin your USB device, just follow the following process:

Rigth click my computer-> manage-> disk management.

You will find your hard drive, cd and USB dirve listed player, you can do a right click on the drive letter and click on modify.

  • Cannot find my dvd - rom on laptop drive.

I have windows vista on my laptop and I have a dvd - rom drive that used to work, now, he's not even appear on the computer.  How can I reinstall the drive?

    Hello

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Hardware Profiles\0001\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

Use DevManView to locate the CD/DVD in the registry (be careful and do a prior Restore Point)

Hello, recently I installed nVidia - showing - NVIDIA GeForce G105M I downloaded via Windows Uptade. After that my only possible resolution is 1024 x 800, that looks really bad on 15.6 laptop screen.
I can't uninstall this uptade because I simply he see in "Programs and features" Menu in the control panel. What can I do? What is the problem? Why Windows Uptade crushed idyllic mine working on my laptop, I thought uptades via Windws Uptade are reliable.

In Device Manager, roll back the driver, then in recommended winupdate settings turn off updates.

All the necessary drivers for your laptop must be obtained on the laptop computer manufacturers site. If roll back driver does not help, reinstall the drivers from your laptop manufacturers site

I have an ssd that is installed now and do not have the product key of windows 7 to the rear of the machine (although we have upgraded to windows 10.
