DVD storage on iCloud?

I have Handbraked a few movies I own. I can put them on iCloud?

Not the videos on your iPad app, only iTunes store purchases will potentially show in the cloud for redownloading (if they stay in the store and that you are not transferring countries)

    Hi cyspider,

I understand that you have purchased storage additional iCloud and your credit card has been charged, but you do not see that the storage has been added. Have you received an email from Apple regarding this purchase?

The first thing I would say is to restart your iPhone. Then tap general > storage & use of iCloud. In the iCloud section, the amount of 'Storage' has changed?

  • When I turn off the option "optimize the iphone storage" in iCloud photos, made my phone automatically re - download all my photos/videos in my phone again?

I used the option "optimize the iphone storage" on my old phone to save space, but I hated waiting to load when I want to watch them. Now, I clicked on "Download and keep the originals", but I can't tell if my phone is re - download the original photos/videos to iCloud to my phone. What does automatically or are these pictures forever in the version "optimized" on my phone?

Subsequently, it must download the originals. Synchronization is VERY slow, so it may take some time depending on how many photos you have.

  • Limited to 1 TB of storage to iCloud

Why am I not able to get more than 1 TB of storage iCloud?

I have well over 1 TB of photos I took over the years and I wish I could use iCloud backup when you use Photos.app, but I can't, since space max, I am allowed to buy with iCloud is 1 TB.

It is not a product that apple offers.

I don't know what input you expect here.

Also, I can't buy a Mini Cooper 5000 horses. It is because they are not a.

You can search your options as well. If you enable iCloud photo library (regardless of your purchased space) your photos will not be in all iCloud backups.

And there is no iCloud backup for Mac, then you can consider using the iCloud for this player.

This isn't really a design feature of the iCloud drive. To save your content to Mac. You would be better served, IMO, using Time Machine and an external USB hard drive.

There are other online backup services that will store the entire contents of your Mac online. iCloud is not one of these services.

  • Manage storage to iCloud

My iCloud storage is almost full. When I go in managing storage in System Preferences/iCloud, I have 1 GB in iMovie. When I go to iMovie on iCloud.com, it has no icon in iMovie.

How can I find on what is stored in iMovie. I can't determine the iMovie application and since there is no iMovie on iCloud.com icon, it doesn't seem to be a way to know what are the files/folders. I don't want to delete the documents and data until I know if it's something I want to discard or save.

    Hello DaveH123!

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It seems that you are short on storage iCloud and can not find the culprit to iCloud.com. You did a good job trying to find what is stored in iCloud to iMovie. After some research, here is what I found.

You can find which movies you downloaded from iMovie to iCloud in iMovie himself, using the above article.

  • storage used iCloud inconsistency.

    Hello

I have 1 to plan storage iCloud. I downloaded pictures 100 GB and 400 GB of videos in the Photos app iCloud. There is no file in the items removed from iCloud. In the Photos on my MacBook Pro when I right click on all the pictures, select Get Info system reports 500 GB. However the use of storage iCloud this system reported 700 GB. I can see 700 used Go looking through system preference/iCloud/manage on my laptop and the web browser button.

Note: Before you create the library currently used iCloud I had created a front in which I downloaded the right amount of photos/videos (hard to say how much, but could have been a couple of hundred GBs). I then deleted the first library and created a new one that I use now.

I contacted Apple support, spoke to one of their senior advisers and after weeks of investigation, they weren't able to tell me why is this and how to solve it. They suggested to transform my library iCloud mode engineer/recovery or smth like that (I may be the wrong term) for further investigation, but then your content is no longer encrypted so I refused.

    Has anyone came across this?

Do you know why it was such a big difference in the storage you use? And if so how to solve?

I plan to download the entire library to a hard drive external (I have only 256 GB on my laptop), deleting the photos in iCloud and re - download the library back. I did a lot of changes (modification and deletion) in the photos / videos and added some new ones (not over 20GB) since I originally loaded them so I'm really reluctant to import all the data on the library from scratch.

    See you soon

What is the library status on each device to iCloud

in the iCLoud preferences Mac == > managing storage is show all this storage for photo library or some of them are things like iCloud Drive, backups, etc.?

Since you have a lot of storage rather than try again I'd give him 45 days to see if things solve

  • Storage utilization & iCloud > storage management > Photos and camera

I'm trying to free up storage on my iPhone 6 more running iOS 9.3.1. Photos is empty. Recently deleted photos is empty. Photos is disabled in settings > icloud > photos. The rockers are disabled in the settings > photos and camera. But its still appearing as using 440 MB of storage in the photo library and 30.6 MB in shared photo streams.

How to explain and free this storage? Are there ghosts stored photos? All other discussions on this topic as the change of date and time has not worked for me.

  • Wi - Fi and DVD storage + more Q!

Hi, I have a few questions:

I can save all my (legit) DVDs on the Media Hub without any conversion / retouching / messing around?

Is the Media Center wireless active or I have to (or can I) but a wireless card?

If my wife has an IPOD and I have another we have both share the same music or do we deal with the mess of accounts full?

My intention is to connect it to the power (in my garage) next to my wireless router. If he (media center) is not active wireless, I imagine that I will need to plug it into my ethernet port available?

If I just plug this into my router and have a wireless network, this device will flow wireless to my HP MediaSmart Connect X280N?

The HP MediaSmart Connect X280N is compatible with this unit?

Bottom line here, it is that I want to put all my media, videos, CD IPOD stuff etc. on a SINGLE machine and make sure it's redundant (will buy another drive when I order) and be able to play on my HDTV.

    Thank you!!

    Hello

If we consider the network Media Hub as only a simple storage device, then Yes, you can store all your files on the network Media Hub. Based on the network Media Hub specification is just a wired device so wireless for this camera, but what you can do to make it wireless is get one of the adapters of wireless of Linksys (WGA600N) game and use it with the network Media Hub to make it wireless.

Anyone can access the files on the network Media Hub in the same time, its DLNA 1.5 not certified, so no configuration of the necessary user accounts.

If the HP X280N MediaSmart Connect device and the network Media Hub is part of the same network then Yes you can use Network Media Hub as the storage of the files that your HP X280N can get media from. Yet once, just consider the network Media Hub as a simple network storage device so that we can see a better picture where this device is on the network.

    I hope this helps.

MY phone at this point does not appear one of my photos on my iPhone except for about 20 of them, if I scroll down it says restore and I am sometimes able to restore more pictures on my phone, and all of my contacts, notes and text messages deleted. I can't upgrade my software, download apps, and when I get txt messages I receive messages is no longer and will clear in their own with in a few minutes, if I don't check my messages and open them. Has nothing to do with my settings, I believe that it is because my phone trying to make room, think that there more, since there is nothing to clear in my phone that my question is, if I buy more I have the cloud storage does anyone know if my phone is back to normal, as I kno expenses on the amount of storage I want to get sick have to pay every month , but I wonder if I get this amount of storage every month or if it's a time thing. Thanks for all who are able to help me!

If your appliance is out of room, additional storage iCloud won't help.

It appears from your question, you could use iCloud photo library? If you are, you have to "Maximize pictures" is enabled in the settings > Photos & camera?

You may want to consider not using iCloud photo library, but going back to import your photos to your computer and then synchronize the photos you want on your phone. It gives you more control over how and what photos get sync support in addition to having your film and the photo stream.

If you don't use icloud photo library, you must go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (under storage, non-iCloud) and see what takes place. You should also remove SMS or e-mails that have pictures or embedded videos as they take plenty of room.

    Good luck

  • Storage of 1 TB icloud is 'Full' instantly

    Hello

I just bought a 1 TB of storage icloud and with the 1st attempt to copy a file, I got the message ' point 'Photos' cannot be copied because there is not enough free space. "

How does the iCloud? I bought the extra space in order to save my old NTFS hard drives so I could then wipe them and format them to HFS before returning data

I am so - drag files directly from an external drive, so they are copied. It is true that the first case was big enough - 220 GB. So I went to smaller - 1 GB worked, 9 GB worked, but then 14 GB does not.

Then I tried a few new smaller files - about 1 GB and they worked but then a record 2.6 GB failed.

I tried 3 files totalling 39 GB of my local documents directory - and they moved (not copied) "instantly".

What happens here? Is it because it's an external hard drive? Because it is NTFS? The fact that I have less than 1 GB of storage available on my boot drive it affect?

Also - when I moved the data to local storage to icloud, when will I see the space on my local drive actually become free?

In a perfect world, I really wish I could you select the 990 GB of several files on my external hard drive, and then drag to icloud only once - then leave from one day to the next, or more.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you

If these data you "move" to iCloud aren't on your system drive, it is your question.

iCloud is a synchronization between your local system drive and iCloud service. So if you copy data to an external hard drive, what you're doing is to copy it to your local HD and your iCloud drive.

The message of the space isn't likely your system drive, icloud.

The documents folder moved smoothly, because this content was already on your system disk. You just change the file locations.

iCloud is NOT a hard drive in the sky that you can move data. It is a service of synchronization between the file called iCloud drive on your local system drive and iCloud himself.

At the end of synchronization, they will have the same content. Same amount of occupied space.

"In a perfect world, I really wish you select the 990 GB of several files on my external hard drive, and then drag to icloud only once - then leave from one day to the next, or more."

N ° not like iCloud is currently being implemented.
