  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff. From what I understand, bothl of you experience the same problem with HDMI after a BIOS update.  I'm happy to help you with this.

  I would, if possible, that each of you try the laptops HP - restore the BIOS to a restoration to the having previously worked BIOS.  The main purpose is to return you to a working state. If this method works for you, obviously do not install BIOS update again.

  Edit: Bugfinder reported that restoration, the method of BIOS didn't work for him, but he had to do several times (4 times in at least one case). I guess you could say that it is true to its name, and I thank very you much for the comments.

  If I understand correctly, you are unable to update the firmware on the LED Cinema Display. I would like to try the following steps to get these working again:

  I've just updated my timecapsule 1 TB of first generation version 7.6.7 and my 3 TB timecapsule new version 7.7.7

  Well, since nobody seems to have an explanation, and Apple are not out with firmware update after 7.7.7 and 7.6.7 I decided to downgrade the firmware to the previous version. I now run version 7.7.3 on the new 3 Tb Time Capsule and 7.6.3 on the 1st Gen Time Capsule. So far, the network is stable. Using WiFi Explorer Ii see that they use channel 6 and 8 respectively. Signal is strong and no dropouts have taken place so far. Hope the issue is resolved in the next firmware update.

  As I read in another post: firmware update does not solve a problem, you didn't. However, it can create a problem that you didn't.

  Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the version number of the firmware

• TimeCapsule firmware update error, now defunct

  I received notification of a firmware update for my TimeCapsule AirPort, then click it to start the update. He seems to have run the update and was himself reboot after the bar got to end state.   I went through all the steps to clear a jam from the ADF, but the opinion is persistent.  It is not (and was not before the upgrade) in the ADF at all.  Since this coincided with the update of the firmware, my suspiscion is that the firmware has not installed properly or something.  What am I doing here?

  This problem has been resolved using the printer instead of purchase and exchange for another.  I can hardly believe that the cables are working loose within two weeks, she was detained and then broke at the exact time that the firmware update has been completed.  In any case, the problem was solved by replacing the printer.  I don't have any feedback solutions until a month after I did.
