  It took 3 clicks to hide the structure of the table...

  For the "how to return an image of the formula in the column" it's just the data format of the column that should be set to the URL of the Image and your column value must be the URL of the image. If you add a formula as CASE WHEN your_condition THEN 'http://.../picture1.jpg' WHEN your_condition_2 THEN 'http://.../picture2.jpg' END

  You want to display these columns in the IR?

  In the affirmative. Select the column you want to display, and then click on the the ' > '.
  In the interactive report regions - source, where you have your query to select columns use to rank them by order of the Association.

  You want to keep these columns as "do not display" and make them in the Association order it?
  Select all the columns to display and return the columns selections making "Not displayed" region order assn.
  Or in the query, select the columns in the desired order.

• How to conditionally display images based on the values of the variables

  I am building a demonstration Captivate containing a slide branching that allows the user to choose which way they want to view; Once they are done, they come back on this slide branching, and I want a check mark to display the button/path that they have already completed.

  I'm new to the use of variables and actionscript in Captivate, so I went the the documentation and the creation of variable is clear, as well as the use of conditional constructions, but I didn't know the instructions of scripts that look like they will allow me to display an image from the library when she is called in the conditional.

  Is this possible? If so, a pointer to an appropriate documentation or sample code would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello

  When you insert images of the box, you click the Options tab and give the image a name that you may recognize. Then clear the Visible check box. This allows to keep hidden until you want to show it.

  

  However, note that even if all the image names are listed in the dialog box advanced Actions as being available for show, you will only be able to show an image if you run the fast Action of the blade where the image exists. So you will likely build a means by which you are setting up a variable to indicate that a section has been visited. Then create an action that is performed on slide enter to show the images based on the values of the variables.

  You can use & P1_ITEM_NAME. (including the & and the.) the title of region - this string will be replaced by the value of the item page called P1_ITEM_NAME, then change the name according to your order of the day of the page

  I am looking for crerating several checkboxes based on a value in the table. For example if I'm clicking on a name of 'material' in a report, I need to show all interfaces for equipment like the checkboxes in another page. There is a table that contains interfaces corresponding to a particular equipment. The box should be checked if this particular interface is "put into service". This info is present in the table "provisioing. How can I achieve this. Help, please.

  The display order of your boxes depends on your SELECT statement, just put an ORDER BY in there, and you can do whatever you want.

  Don't forget: the LOV-statement must select all of the possibilities, with the process, you set the provisioned to checked.

  So you should use a conditional tip Action 2 steps at the entrance to the first slide to:

  • Run this JavaScript (1 set = 1 for the State)
  • Check the value of the variable user vImageToDisplay and show/hide the appropriate image.

  

  Note that you will want to check if vImageToDisplay is equal to 'Victor '.  I was using "HTML5" in my action below because my images are different.

  

  

  I've tested this and did not run in synchronization problems.

• Display image based on the value of the variable of the choice by the user

  Hi all, I hope someone can help with what I think is a simple request. Ive only been using Captivate 7 for a few days and still feeling my way around things.

  I installed a question multiple choice quiz that has 4 possible answers (correct 1: incorrect 3.)

  It works fine out of the box, and when a user presses the button send the response box appears showing if the user responded to this correctly or not.

  What I want to do, that is forward a bit, and if the user gets the answer wrong I would a small image of a check mark appears next to the correct answer.

  I have included my image on the stage, he gave an alpha of 0 to hide effectively.

  In interactions in advance, I created a variable called showImage with an initial value of 0

  What I am struggling with now is how to increase the value of the variable to 1 when a user selects a wrong answer and change the alpha of 0 to 100 for show the image illustrating the choice of the correct answer.

  I know that what I have described, is essentially what is happening at the end of the quiz, if a user has access to review their answers but I would like to be able to do as they progress through the questions.

  Hi D,

  What you need to do is rather than make his alpha 0. It completely hide the scene until the user gives the correct answer.

  So, I want you.

  (1) insert a picture

  2) go to image and all properties panel up - untick 'Visible output.

  (3) open properties Quiz, select under Actions failure level 1/2/3

  (4) select 'Last attempt' as 'Show' and the image you you inserted

  This way the image will appear if the user selects an incorrect answer.

• Dynamically partition a table based on different values of a specific column: possible?

  I'll start by explaining my problem, so that you can have a global vision of the problem and perhaps suggest another solution. Problem: I have 2 tables with millions of records. Records are added daily, and so each row in each table has a column of "insertion_date".

  C1 C2 ... C10 insertion_date (type date, ofc)
  

  lines are cleaned according to the insertion_date parameter. This can happen in two ways:

  1 - whenever an application error appears. In this case delete is based on a single day and would be like:

  delete from T1 where insertion_date=##;
  

  in other words remove us the lines added and then restart the program (business logic, can't change it)

  2. every two weeks the data associated with these two weeks are deleted because will be most used:

  delete from T1 where insertion_date between ## and ##; (a two weeks period here)   
  

  Delete is currently very slow: it takes abot 8 minutes just to remove approximately 5 M of records (with the same insertion_date), I can't even imagine the time required to delete records more.

  So, here's my idea!

  I would partition my DB according to the value of insertion_date.

  To remove case 1 I would simply delete the partion associated with this insertion date, to remove scores of cases 2 associates at that interval.

  For the needs of my application at most 15 were leaving are present each time (maybe 20 if I want to keep last at least 5 days of data), so the documented limit of 64000 partitions is not a problem.

  Real problem is that I do not know insertion_date values in advance, so my question: is it possible to automatically create a new partition every time presents itself a new value of insertion_date?

  And please correct me if I'm wrong, if I accomplish partitioning that I wouldn't need to edit above right queries? I know just the faster removal time am I correct?

  No - it isn't bog standard range partitioning partitioning interval

  But perhaps you're citing 9i documentation for a reason?

  University Complutense of MADRID, I created a custom text metadata field.  I then activated optlist this area.  I fill the optList values, I use a view.  The view has three columns.  Let us call their ID, Key, Value.  OptList shows keys in its list.  I then create content (Content ID: MyContent) Webcenter content and choose the OptList values for my new field of metadata (MyField).

  WebCenter portal, I'm filling a selectOneChoice with MyField values in the content ID: MyContent.  Remember the previous step, the values entered in selectOneChoice lists them selected values from the field MyField optList.  The optList is filled from view.  After the user selects a value in selectOneChoice, in Javascript, I need to alert a message in this format "selected value - matching value from the view of the optList that fills MyField.

  In my portal Webcenter application, I create a Taskflow presenter content.  I have set up as single content item presenter.  I attribute as content ID MyContent.  Then, in templateView, I get all the values of MyField in MyContent and display as selectOneChoice.  I created a javascript function that would get the value that the user selected in selectOneChoice.  In the view created in the Webcenter content Configuration Manager (see above), there is a value corresponding to each displayed value.  So, for the selected value, I need to get the corresponding Capital and display in my alert message.

  Starting from Javascript, how can I get the value of the Capital, since I have the status value.

  The idea to reach your requirement is planned:

  • Create an Assistant manage bean that will appeal as access map: #{stateUtil ['Calofironia']} (it will return Raleigh). This value will get calling GET_SCHEMA_VIEW_VALUES IDC service using RIDC in your managed bean.
  • Pass the result of #{stateUtil ["statename"]} to your JavaScript function to help

  What do you mean by "more simple? Another way to proceed would be to have fragments of JSF page separated for each table and use a dynamic region on the home page. I haven't worked through the solution, but it should work.

  For the decimal amount, you need to change the formula type, the default value is a numerical formula, but you must choose the date difference. This is the online help:

  To create a date-difference formula

  1. Open the form that contains the field for which you want to create a formula. The form designer window opens.
  2. In the form designer window, select the date field that you want to create the formula. When the calculation is performed, this field appears as read-only on the form and will automatically update each time that the fields that make up the formula change.
