e 200 stay connected to PC

The battery is set correctly and the port on the Player looks very good. I've had it for about a year 1/2 or more. Bought new Cordless USB Sandisk. My PC USB works fine with other devices.

I have not circumvented to charge readers for about a month-

The problem:

When I plug it it turns on as usual, but only for about 1 second. Then it does not load as it should, but instead goes to refresh, and then warns me that the battery is low and shutsdown. There still enough juice in the battery for me to turn it on although it is initially connected to the PC but I can't do anything without charging more.

The end of my Sandisk USB cord that plugs into the player - the metal is very very slightly bent on the underside in facing the Sandisk logo. I don't think it would cause problems because it's only the metal that is bent and not inside.

I did not put updates on it, but the player has always worked very well so far.

Thank you

Hey that solved it... Yes I used a USB extender with everything lately so I assumed that the player could work on it. It's interesting - I knew not that the extension cord reduced power.

Thank you for the insightful observation!

Slowly but surely, I will gain little sense.

  • If 2 Airport extreme can stay connected to each other using their LAN ports?

    Hello friends,

I would like to know if 2 Airport extreme or 1 Airport Extreme and Airport Express can stay connected to each other using LAN ports at the ends? I thought this is the LAN port 1 connected to the WAN port on the 2nd.

    Thank you

To clarify the issue and the scenario, one of my friend described a typical scenario in which there are 2 AEs. AE1 has an ISP in its port WAN and AE2 has a different ISP in its WAN port. This 2 AE can mutually connected between them by using ports LAN AE1 and AE2 ethernet cable? He said this could be feasible if AE2 remained in bridged mode, without using the ISP attached to its WAN port. I just don't get how this is possible. Friends of the search help.

  • iPhone will not stay connected to the internet?

    * Posted on MacRumors forums but no answers *.

So basically since a few days my phone sometimes don't remain not connected to the internet network of BT-Hub3. I connect to it and then sometimes, it will stay connected for a minute for a few seconds and then disconnect. When I go to the wifi thing it seems available to connect to. After a couple of times that to happen, it will say wrong password (this is the password) and disconnect me and then I have to type the password. Repeat to infinity. It's honestly so frustrating.

Sometimes it will stay and be fine but his is happened twice in the last few days and never happened before with any phone I've had.

I try my phone with my BT-Hub4 internet network and it will stay connected. The only problem with this is that the internet is further (bottom), so has a low connection that does not charge anything unless I lean on my bed.

Initially, I assumed my internet pick, but I'm typing this I am connected to the network BT-Hub3 without disconnect him, even once.

I had the phone for a year and 2 months (previous owner had since October/November/December in the year of release) and recently got a replacement of the unofficial battery if this of any help. I also still have my phone on the low power mode. The phone always properly connect to the BT-Hub3 network even with unofficial battery and low power however mode.

I had several other problems with the phone (camera, apps download not heat no reason apparent, random battery drains despite the new battery in just 3 months and has the same problem with the battery, slow Touch ID that apparently is not normal), which most recently happened.

I had all the settings to reset a week or two ago but surely if who messed with my settings internet I would have had the internet issue earlier? Not sure if I should try to reset the network settings. I hate this and only do if I need to.

One last note, I have the latest version of iOS so ignore saying his 9.3.2 on

    Hi pinkdolphins0400,

Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with your iPhone does not stay connected to your internet connection at home. I use my home Wi - Fi network to stay connected, so I use all the cell data, if I can understand wanting to make sure that you are able to stay in touch. I am pleased to provide you with a few suggestions for you.

The first thing I recommend you do is follow the steps described in the following article. It seems that you have already experienced some of these steps, but I want to be sure that you have covered everything.

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi network

Since you mentioned that your iPhone will stay connected to your network to another, you can take a look at the network settings for the one that you are having problems staying connected to. Article below provides information about network configurations suggested for Apple devices. You can also check with the manufacturer for your BT 3 - Hub see if there are updates that must be performed. This can cause problems with disconnects.

Recommended settings for the WiFi routers and access points

For other problems you mentioned (apps do not download, camera, battery draining, contact ID, etc.) reset settings was a big step in troubleshooting to try. If these things are always happening, I recommend making a backup of your iPhone and then restore it via iTunes. The backup will ensure that your data is saved. When you perform the restore via iTunes, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily), and then test it. Once you test, you can try to restore your backup. You can find all of the information below, you will need.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

A detail as a website to remember you (automatically log you) is stored in a cookie.

You can use these steps to make a Web site recognize and remember you:

    • Create a cookie 'allow' except to keep these cookies, in particular in the case of secure websites and when the cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
    • Tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions

In case you use 'Clear history of Firefox closing' or otherwise to clear the history.

    • do not delete Cookies
    • do not delete Site preferences
    • Compensation of the "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, installation of software, passwords, and other specific data from Web site.
    • Deletion of Cookies will delete all selected cookies, including cookies with an exception to allow that you want to keep.

When I click on my gmail icon, the screen my email address; I don't want it. And when I'm in my gmail I don't want no "stay connected"; I don't want to have to log out manually. Recently, all I had to do was 'x', and I was disconnected automatically. I want that this again!

When you say that you would 'x' out, do you mean completely close Firefox?

By default, Firefox will save cookies for as long as Specifies a site. However, you can override that for Firefox rejects cookies when you stop. You'd do that here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > privacy

If the middle of the box says, "Firefox will be: don't forget history" change that for ' Firefox will be: use the custom settings for history. That reveals a set of detailed controls.

Under "Accept cookies from sites" change "keep until the" to "closing of Firefox".

If you ESPECIALLY want to persistent cookies and don't want cookies from CERTAIN SITES to evaporate at the end of the session, you can keep the normal setting in privacy but change permissions for sites of memory.

To change the permissions of cookie for a specific site, use the Page Info dialog box. Either:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > permissions
    • Click on the padlock or globe in the address bar > more information > permissions

Under 'Cookies Set' clear the default checkbox and set the permission for the site:

    • On = persistent cookies

I prefer to use Firefox as my browser. For the last two weeks, I was not able to stay connected to Comcast and e-mail. I connect when I start the computer. If I leave the computer for a period of time, the screen saver comes on. When I come back, I have to reconnect. I am able to stay connected with IE, but I prefer to stay with Firefox as my favorites and contacts are stored here. I had Comcast technicians working on this problem without success. I deleted Firefox and reinstalled. I erased my historical cache and connected with Keep me signed to checked. Nothing seems to work.

Deletion of cookies will delete all specified (selected) cookies, including cookies with an exception allowing you want to keep.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookies as cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  • Why don't I stay connected to the journal online (Huffington Post)

When I connect to the Huffington Post, a newspaper online via browser Google Chrome, I stay connected for hours, until I leave the site. When you use Firefox my default browser, I be online only until I click on a story and then I noticed that I am not connected anymore.

I tried to disable the Add-ons, safe boot mode, but it does not help. It didn't happen in another site, but because I've only visited the site for the first time recently, I can say that I did not any changes to firefox just before or after.

I have the ability to use Google Chrome, but I don't like not really her - thats why FF is the default browser. I have also post comments on Forums and newspaper stories and find Lazare very useful if I am stopped when writing a piece. Now, Lazarus works brilliantly in Firefox but doesn't seem to work in GC. Yet another reason to fix this "stay connected".

Excellent work on tracking down the missing link!

Third-party cookies are all cookies by servers other than the one listed in the address bar. They are needed on some sites, you found, but are also the means by which track you advertising servers.

In my opinion, a good balance is to allow all cookies, but expires them at the end of the current session by changing your story custom options to:

    Keep until: "closing of Firefox.

So if there are sites that you do NOT want to be disconnected of the sessions, add those as exceptions, either by using the Exceptions on this same tab, or about: permissions (note the colon between subject and permissions), or the Page Info (Tools menu or right click) dialog box.

  • Firefox Sync will not stay connected.

Whenever I open Firefox, it I set up my account to sync again by typing my username and password sync key. I was under the impression that the sync account could stay connected. Anyone else know of this problem and how to fix?

    The solution I found is:

In the Firefox Options under the Privacy tab:

If you have the option checked to 'Clear history of Firefox closing': go into settings and uncheck the "saved Passwords" under the data section.

Seems to be the only data that needs to 'remember' Firefox for synchronization to work.

  • Impossible to stay connected

I moved to a new city and set up on a new router provided by our company.  Everything worked wonder through our previous router.  Have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a.  Router comes from Hitron Technologies provided through Suddenlink cable company.  Running 2 laptops (with 2 versions of Windows - one provided by work on version 7, the other a personal portable version 8.1)-when I run the printer test page it says the OS environment is Windows X 64 the other says it's Windows NTx86.  I can't get my work laptop (if the printer went to sleep or the computer turned on for a few hours) to run, typing the printer key WPA wireless assistant whenever I want to print something.  Personal laptop that I literally have to reinstall the printer drivers on the computer and even that did not work today.  I have not yet tried the two IPADS yet but had in the past been able have them print via email HPE.  The last time I tried to do that it didn't work.  Needless to say that I can't continue to work in this environment and while I learned more that I always wanted to know about trying various corrections, I am not all tech savvy.  So I need a step by step fix.

These settings are to set up your wireless printer to stay connected to your router, wireless devices stay better connected and makes your router secure and hack proof.

    1. define a static in the printer IP address (click here) out of the DHCP of the router Beach (check your manual).

It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this

first of all if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here (Windows solution 4, static IP).

    2. check the printer "Auto off" is disabled.  Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by going

the IP address of the printer in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer

Assistant, printer Home Page (EWS). Also check the properties of your printers.

    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.

    4. If necessary and you have assigned a static IP address, try using 8.8.8.8 for the preferred DNS server and

8.8.4.4 at the level of the auxiliary DNS server.

In the router: (refer to the manual of your router for more information)

    5. use a wireless channel fixed as 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.

6 choose the router to 20 Mhz only, or 145Mbps router function.

    7. always use WPA2-AES encryption (personal), but you can try the "mixed" mode

8 disable the WPS and never use it and disable the UPnP for the security of routers. No one can hack into your

now the system and helps with wireless connectivity (if you want to know why, research on the web).

    9. If you have a router dual band (2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz bands), make sure you the SSID is NOT the same.

they must be different for all the bands, even for networks without comments.

10 broadcast SSID must be enabled.

    11. save all settings. Food at the same time, wait 2 minutes.  Power on router wait 2 minutes.

12 turn on the printer and check that it reconnects to the router.

Windows 7/8/8.1 is discovered the system on or off?

    1. Control Panel/Network and Internet/network and sharing Center / advanced sharing settings.
    2. Under home or work (current profile) / network discovery.
    3. Select "Turn on network discovery" and save the changes.

  • Stay connected mode 'sleep'

is there an option to stay connected to the wifi mode 'sleep'?

Not in OS X. You can search for a third-party utility to help you, but I don't remember any. A WiFi sleeps in order to preserve the battery life because the WiFi consumes a lot of battery if left running when not used.
