E-mail blackBerry Q10 - hollow yellow folder sync

I found recently emails read or deleted status is not synchronized to my Q10 from the IMAP server when I read and review all first using my laptop > customer Outlook read account IMAP provided by Rogers.

Effect: I will open and read / delete email messages on my cell phone using Outlook / account IMAP.  A number of these emails remains on my Blackberry when I read it then; appearing as a yellow folder hollow.   How can I reset to get my Blackberry emails and portable re-reading the same status?

OK, thanks... so it looks like you've done the 3 steps I have recommended, but not what followed these three steps. There are other things to try up in Post 2, later in step 3 paragraph, with the beginning of «If not...» "this sentence...

  • Filters e-mail blackBerry Q10

My torch, I had set up hundreds of e-mail filters, so that the specified e-mail messages would not be delivered to the torch, but would appear in my Outlook Inbox on my company's network. More than 50% of my incoming e-mail traffic consists of items that I do not need or want on my mobile, I have to limit the items that require urgent attention. I can't get the device beep and buzzing for the whole of this email - just critical points. Where my need of the ability to filter which offers the torch. Q10 has this capacity? If this isn't the case, I'll probably need to go back to the torch.

Hello and welcome to the community!

These filters have been provided by BIS... which is no longer in the game with BB10. So, the answer is that you can do it in exactly the same way you used to do.

But, think about server or rules others - client (e.g. Outlook). I do not know your corporate e-mail system, but many have the ability to allow you to define rules side server that will grind things to other folders and does so not on the BB. Or rules client side to an instance of Outlook (for example) that you leave running, if things are filed away to other folders soon.

So, while you can't make the same way you used to, there are alternatives and solutions. If your condition is to do it in exactly the same way you used to, indeed so you will need to return to a device that does not use BIS.

    Good luck!

  • Notification e-mail blackBerry Q10 No. sound

    Hello

I recently received a Q10 of my new employer to follow my emails and the problem is that the phone does not make any sound when receive emails bllinking not without vibrations also LED. all settings are fine and I'm 100% sure then do not ask me about the pleaaaaaase settings.

    Please also note the following:

1 tried the turn off and battery disposal method.

    2. check notification settings and sound like 100 times.

    3. restart the phone several times.

    4. the software version is: 10.2.1.3062 and no update available.

    5. text message notification works very well.

    6. change the tone too many times and same problem.

    7. I live in Iraq no guarantee and therefore not supported the service and things available.

8A asked my colleagues who have the same model and some of them face the same problem.

Please I need a solution cause the phone is totally useless without notifications. Sorry for the long message/looks

I know you said don't tell you it's settings, but it must be. If you hear noise or vibrations for a text message then the speaker and piezo buzzer working. That leaves nothing else than the settings. Go to Notifications, start with Normal profile and make sure that sound is NOT off and vibrator is ON., drag noise level all the way to the top.

You can also view to lock screen settings and make sure that Notifications are turned on.

In TERMINAL settings, click View Actions and ensure that new display Message indicator is turned on

Finally, make sure that the speakers that you hear when you talk on the phone is different from speakers that are used for some notifications of case music, play music to ensure than those who work and make sure that you can hear on a phone call...

Check all these, then remove the battery while the Q is running and wait 30 seconds and then reinstall the battery.

  • BlackBerry Q10 from sent items e-mail settings

I know that the option "delete only on handheld" does not yet exist on BB10, which is a major pain.  I learned to live with this until today.  I have two email accounts; @shaw.ca and @live.ca.  When I send an email from my PC it also appears on my phone as a sent item.  In the interest of the housekeeping I delete sent items off my phone thinking that they will always be in my items on my PC.  I consider that to my account @live.ca only, not Shaw for a reason, my folder on my PC has no items since I got my Q10, they've all gone which is a huge problem for me.  Here's my question.  Is there any kind of implement changes that can make my items on my PC are not displayed on my phone?  I never used to see them on my torch, only the Envoy that I sent from my phone.

Any really smart people out there who know a way to recover deleted items sent in Windows Live mail?  I poured on everything him net and can not find anything but it can't hurt to ask.

    Thank you all!

    Hey ddmdevin,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Thanks for the question. In the new operating system BlackBerry 10, email will now via synchronization. Previous BlackBerry devices carried out a reconciliation. This means that, with synchronization, the Inbox on your BlackBerry Q10 will reflect your Inbox on your webmail.

The ability to hide items sent in the Q10 of BlackBerry is available, however it allows to hide all items sent to all accounts in the hub.

To hide items sent so they are not displayed in the Inbox of the Q10 (to avoid to remove permanently):

The Hub-> menu-> settings (3 vertical points)-> display and Actions-> see the elements (toggle OFF) sent.

Let us know how make you out!

    See you soon,.

  • Account of the blackBerry 10 set up Active Sync to delete e-mails from Pocket only?

Have a user with a Q10 who wants emails to remove from his computer to Pocket only, i.e. to leave them in the Exchange account and delete them only of the Q10.  E-mail account is MS Exchange Active sync, and I can't find a setting on the Q10 for this. Is it just a matter of turn off the "sync e-mail button?"

Remove your handheld only is not currently available for EAS accounts in OS 10.2.0.xxxx.  We hope that this can be made available in the next version of OS 10.2.1.xxx.  (Previews were distributed. An unofficial version of leakage was observed as well.) And no, we don't have an official release date of an OS 10.2.1 at this time.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 deleting Email from my mail server, Email disappeared!

It's new to my Blackberry experience.  It only happened on the "BOLD".

Ofter when traveling on the road I clear my mails to my Q10, before you delete it.

Emails have always been available from my laptop when I need to access.

However, now, surprise me, when I delete e-mail from Q10, they are removed from my POP mail server

So I lost some valuable email when I tried to use my laptop to get back them.

What is happening here.  This is not good.

Is there a setting to fix this?

If you can follow simple instructions in this link, you can update your operating system and have the option to remove only on handheld or both.

If you don't feel that you can follow these instructions or don't want you will have to wait for your operator to release the update.

  • Problem syncing blackBerry Q10 Q10

    Hello

Is a small question, possible to sync my Blackberry Q10 with Blackberry via Bluetooth connection?

Or I can do this only through the USB cable and WiFi?

    Thank you

Historically, it was hit and Miss. If your computer uses the "widcomm" bluetooth base drivers it can work. If your computer is provided vendor bluetooth drivers (toshiba or other drivers of the brand) then it probably won't work. BB software has always required that the base of windows drivers so that the bluetooth work. Even if you manage to remove the vendor provided drivers and use the base drivers you lose some of the advanced features your vendor provided drivers support.

  • BlackBerry® Q10 E-mail stops to display a message / hub empty with EAS account and Outlook

Have 2 accounts. A Regional, an outlook.com service. EAS was working fine until this weekend. This morning new e-mail is displayed in the Inbox. If I search, I get the message, then the phone is their reception.

    I tried the things:

-removed and added the EAS account again, no change.

-change the filter to "unread" - shows the emails, but not always all

-electronic control the synchronization setting-it is defined on it, for the Inbox mailbox is checked - no change. tried toggling it, no change.

-changed the synchronization of the mailboxes in each of them, without change.

-display modified by single line or conversation, let it rebuild without change.

Everyone try this and have similar results? Basically, the e-mail from Q10 worked very well, but at this rate, it is not usable.

Solved the problem in safe cleaning of the device and setting things up again from scratch. Seems no other way to fix it.

  • BlackBerry Q10 BlackBerry Q10 delete on a mailbox

My manager wants to delete e-mails pocket and they should not be received in microsoft outlook or Gmail server he bought Blackberry Q10, it's on Gmail, as on the previous Blackberry bold 9900, it allows to remove a particular message and bb will indicate whether to delete computer pouch or box to the letters and you choose ball and the message will not be received or downloaded in Microsoft Outlook. your help is very appreciated.

As the way current, it's getting emails on blackberry and Microsoft Outlook.

    Your support is much appreciated.

    Thank you best regards &,.

    Bipin Valley

The current BlackBerry10 OS does not delete on the handheld only.

BlackBerry10 features ActiveSync from your emails with your e-mail server. Basically, it is to 'mirror', which is on your server. Delete on the server is a deletion on the handheld and delete on handheld computer removes the server.

You might consider using the function of FILE on the Q10, to file the e-mail in a different folder on the mail server and the selection of Q10 to hide filed messages.

  • BlackBerry Q10 ActiveSync does not synchronize my Contacts after changing to another Exchange Server

I changed to another supplier of services of Exchange and now the problems with my Contacts on the Blackberry Q10. After the configuration of the new Exchange ActiveSync account, I observe the folliwng:

    1. New contacts created in Outlook / Exchange Server will not synchronize to the Q10.
    2. New contacts created on the Blackberry are synchronized backed the Exchange Server / Outlook Client.
    3. BlackBerry-Contacts are visible, but won't open (like "zombies").
    4. BlackBerry Contacts from other sources (Facebook, WhatsApp) are no longer bound together, in other words, it seems that the person has multiple contacts entries.
    5. Sending / receiving mails and work on the Blackberry calendar entries.

I fixed it myself. Now, the Contacts are all back in, deduplicated and healthy. That's what I did, step by step, in settings > accounts:
1 turn off Sync contact on the Exchange ActiveSync account
    2 delete the Facebook account
3 remove account Skype and gmail
    4. run "Delete local Contacts"
    5. in Contacts, check the number of Contacts: contact no.
    Then in settings > accounts:
    6. turn on synchronization of Contact for an Exchange account
    7. This brought all Exchange contacts
    8. Add Facebook, Skype and a gmail accounts.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Q10 ID deleted with Blackberry Protect to the

    Hello

I do not own the Blackberry device, but my father and I think he did something wrong. He asked me to write to you to help you, because he can't use his device because it deleted the Blackberry account. On October 23, he bought Blackberry Q10 and on 26 October, he deleted an account (he had some problems with the reception of e-mails and he thought that it might help). He also said that the problem might be related with Blackberry Protect. What can I do to make him his device working properly?

Greetings from Poland and thanks for any help.

    MREX.

You can try. I don't think he'll do good. Why BlackBerry would be to blame when they provide a big warning that says do not remove the BBID if it is connected to a device?

This is the second time that happens in 2 months!

I take photos and videos with my Blackberry Q10. The next day, I take a quick glance: everything is removed! All that I've got are a couple of old photos and 3 photos transferred from my computer.

    All my videos are deleted.

I'm not at full capacity on my phone... So, it does not remove himself because there is no more available space.

    I don't understand!

    My music is intact...

The last time this happened, I deleted my music and it recharged. I found myself with duplicates of different songs (weird, right? Since I deleted the entire folder). After I deleted duplicates, all my reappreared photos and videos! MAGIC!

    Did not this time...

    Any ideas?

    POP! FINALLY found the problem!

It's a problem of contact with my SD card! Sometimes, the phone detects, sometimes is not

I received my photos and videos - I immediately made a backup and now I go to the repair shop!
