E-mail blackBerry Smartphones Enterprise server problems: "Sent" but not "received".

Until last Monday (3/16) my email worked fine.  I downloaded and installed version 4.7.0.32(which je n'avais pas encore utilisée-n'importe quelle version) Office Manager at my work computer.  I went through the Setup process and thought that I had done everything right.  The first sign something was wrong was that I had duplicate appointments and items to my calendar, two of everything!  I soon discovered that e-mails sent to my email to work (I have the connection with an Enterprise Server) are not transferred to my Blackberry.  The strange thing is, every email that I send TO my work email is displayed on my Blackberry.  I'm not having problems with SMS or e-mail that is transferred from my home email so I suspect I missed inadvertently to the top of my business account settings.  I checked to make sure there is no rules or filters put in place and nothing found.  I searched each of the help pages, configuration and I could find the settings. Twice! And still not found what I recognize as a solution.  I'm not really interested in the Desktop Manager, but they suspect that if I delete it out of my work computer it won't change things.  I am almost certain that my problem is related to the Desktop Manager settings, emails literally ceased to be passed right after that (checked by comparing my BB with my business account).  Thanks for the help.

OK, time to sit down and scoot up a big portion of Corneille.  Despite my first two efforts to find filters or transfer rules I found them on my third.  I don't know how I missed it, but I have an option on Fund Manager that has affected my email.  Now, I need to look like see why do I get duplicate calendar events...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Enterprise Server?

    Hello!

I am very new to the blackberry community... My account is through AT & T, but I bought the 9300 from Amazon Wireless. I tried to get my email/facebook put in place. But in the Set Up Wizard, when I go to Set Up Email, it asks if I want to use a professional email with Blackberry Enterprise Server account. And if I click NEXT, it asks for a password.

What is this Enterprise Server? And how do I get my email on my phone!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

To use the Push RIM owner messaging capability, you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have a compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), then you will have personal email added to the e-mail Setup Wizard.

In your situation, the option of the company is not relevant.

    Good luck!

  • Changes and blackBerry Smartphones Enterprise Server

I bought an 8830 earlier, and since my company didn't have a company server, I used the internet option to pull down my business of electronic mail and a personal email account.  I had these icons on my screen, and another icon who has been identified as messages.  There is also an icon of address book.

Recently, I had reason to upgrade to OS 4.5.  The upgrade went very well and I have all the important issues, until my company has purchased and installed the server of the company.  Yesterday, they had me turn my phone on the operating system.  My Message file now gets my business email (about half an hour before the updates of email Internet!) and I have my institutional calendar, but I have not received from the corporate directory!  The possibility to use it AND to be able to access the calendars are two of the main reasons that I pushed the company to get the server company in the first place.

I thought there was a possibility that the just service COMPUTER society had no right of parameters, but another employee has a Blackberry Storm.  I spoke to him this morning and he has access to the telephone directory company, he said.  I need to know what I need to adjust on my phone (or where Watch!) to have access to this book. Our IT Department has any idea.  There someone here?

    Thank you!!!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Let me clarify what your colleague talked about the storm...

Access to the corporate directory is not a question of Contacts within the storm... those who remain your personal contacts in Outlook. But, in Contacts, if you perform a name search, as it shrinks down the names, he will end up with nothing (if you don't have anything in your Contacts) and a selection of 'Lookup'... by clicking on that requests, through BES, a search of the global address list for the name, you do a search on.

Access to other peoples calendars... what, exactly, do you mean with that? As in Outlook, you can book a session on the storm and invite guests. When you do this, you can go through the same search as above. Once you select this person, you can see their free/busy times (e) in the grid view - just like Outlook. I don't think that you can actually have two calendars off BES on a BB... but I'm not positive.

    Who help me?

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones AT & T 8310 Curve do not receive emails until this that refreshed

I used to never have a problem with my emails from my BB 8310 but, lately, for some reason, they won't until I update the phone some how. This may sound weird but I can click on the update of the browser and press on, and everything suddenly a load of emails are displayed.

I called at & t, and after a batter pull and return service directories and reset to the top of my e-mail accounts, it still did the same thing. The guy told me that it must be a phone problem. But, the Green Network blinks so I do not understand the problem.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thank you

    Daniel

It seems that I found the solution to my problem, although I didn't downgrade the OS 4.2 but I did and it seems that my emails come through time.

I do not understand why the downgrade has solved the problem and I miss the 4.5 on my curve. Maybe I'll try the upgrade again very soon and hope for the best.

    Thanks for the many replies.

  • Text message sent but not received?

Recently, I sent a very long text to a friend who has an android. The message was not sent because it was too long, but he later received it. Now every time I text him messages are sent, but he can't see them. Send SMS with other androids just doesn't only a specific friend. Suggestions? We have both tried to restart our phones.

Are you sure have the right number in his contacts? And make sure you have not blocked his number. I hope it works for you!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones emails appearing in Outlook, but not on Blackberry

I got a BB curve for about a year, and I have two e-mail accounts separated, put in place in this regard.  A week ago, I stopped getting emails on my BB in my main email account.  However, I always get emails on my BB in my secondary account.  My email always appear on my Outlook account.   I have not changed anything on my PC.  After trying different solutions, I did the following with no luck:

    * Make sure my account Outlook says to keep the emails on the server.

    * Taking the battery of my BB and put it in

    * Canceled the main e-mail account and set it back up.  Twice.

    * A tried to "reconcile" my emails

Someone at - it any other ideas?   Help!  I miss and need my emails on my BB!

I think I solved my problem.   After that BB exhausted all attempts to solve my problem, I thought about one thing.  When I was talking to them, the guy asked me how many mails in my Inbox.   I had a lot and he told me it would take 1000 and then after that, she would 'Butcher' upward.

While I did that a lot in my Outlook Inbox, I had a number in my Deleted Mailbox, and many of them (probably more than 100 of them) were emails with photo attachments.   I ended up delete everything in my Inbox, my deleted box and my inbox sent.  Then for my BB, I took the battery, left on a ten seconds and put back.   Voila!   I'm back in business!  I don't know if the removal is what did the trick, but I just wanted to inform people to try if you are having this same problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones lcd screen broken inside but not outside

i, ve got my blackberry curve 8520 for 6 months so under warranty.took on my bag to make a call & the screen was white, taken in 02 & they sent for repair, reception phone call today to say the LCD inside cracked & want to charge me £99 to fix & I m not happy that its not been left falling or anything.does anyone know if I m entitled to a replacement or free repair as its still under warranty. There, I was trying to say its accidental damage, how I am, thank you very much

    Hiya!

Well, it is, unfortunately, your discretion of suppliers. If they have evidence that there is physical damage, then no, you don't have right to a replacement under warranty. It is less than your carriers policy is different from any other electronic device that I know.

Physical/liquid damage could void your warranty.

    Sorry

  • BlackBerry smartphones can send but not receive messages

Yesterday, I removed my bb bb Enterprise Server for which I will receive is no longer my email of the company. I still have my personal e-mail on the bb configuration and can send, but get no messages. Any ideas that I can do to get them?  all my push settings are enabled.

OK, so who pays for it?

    1. I'll make sure that you have the personal account of BIS activated on your carrier account.
    2. Look at the Options > Security > information. What is in the list? See the article in the Knowledge Base RIM here for more information about how to remove an it strategy. See method 3 in the link: KB14202 how to remove IT from a BlackBerry smartphone strategy
