e-mails and attachments do not arrive, been invited to check spam, what is this?

Hello. My provider Standard Life pension, sent a response to an email I sent, which contains an attachment.
I received no response or an attachment. So now written again today, I got a response saying the response was sent on 7 August 2014, but they were again sending the original response. I received the email explaining that, but still no attachment, and they asked me to check "Spam." I have never had this problem before and don't really know what is the 'Spam' and where to look for it. I checked "Undesirable" but nothing in there. I am confused and I have no idea what to do or where to look. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Ray stocks

Since it's your providers Spam filter move your messages, you'll need to get the instructions from them on using their filters.

    If you use the Windows 8 Mail application and then print the message:

    -By pressing Ctrl + P will open the list of printers. Select the printer you want then choose from the list of print options and finally click print (lower-right) to print.

    -Display the charms bar then select devices then select your printer (and then follow the prompts) to print from the Mail app.

    With respect to attachments, simply open the attachment (after you click on it to download) by clicking right on it and selecting open/open with. Then you should be able to print the attachment in the program that was opened.

  • E-mail and calendar will not connect on a dual monitor system.

    I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2012) running on Yosemite 10.10.5.  I currently have a system of dual monitor hooked up with an Acer monitor (version: AL1916W Abd ~ Jan. 2008).  When I use this monitor as Desktop 2 and move my apps to email and calendar to this office, I suddenly find that mail will not receive any new messages very well and the calendar will often lose the connection and does not update to mobile.  I thought maybe of interference on the WiFi, but Google Chrome runs on the desktop at the same speed as on my laptop.  Perhaps it is still a form of interference, but I don't know what is the cause or how to fix it.  Perhaps the monitor is too old and now is not compatible with my operating system?  The monitor is connected with a VGA XAVIER to converter Thunderbolt and a VGA cable normal VGA.

    The internet I use is the internet at the University where I work, so reset the router or something like that is not an option.  Help?

    have had this computer for almost 2 years started as 8.0 but was 8.1 about as long. In the last week, my calendar, mail and people tiles will not start screen open. I think that there is a big update not long?  Tiles 'flashes' and still shows a start page. When I go into the office, the program (IE MAIL) appear on the part of icons from the bottom, but the option to close. I read some old answers that were of 2013. I hope that there is something that can be done wilthout lost 2 years of news. Thanks to all who can help me. I spent 2 days looking for solutions on my own instead of coming here to get the right info.

    Also, I forgot that the update was update the BIOS that will not be installed. I do not touch anything and let it do all the work himself. In my view, a post stated that it is fine without the update at this time? If this is not the case, what should I do?

    I finally got the computer is reset at the beginning and entrust to 8.1. revived the sfc scan and it shows no errors. Now, I have to read and understand if I want to get windows installed 10.     Implement the security of your network... How to do depends on details.     It could also be a USB transmitter attached to the computer.  It might be the malicious program or a problem with the firewall or a real hack of the computer through the firewall or caused by malicious software (even if you use cables or wireless).  It could be the entire network (but the number of computers which implies) or only this one computer.  It could also be a system service using the network and not really another computer in itself (in office what he says and where - some may be difficult to recognize and interpreted as another computer).  There are many possibilities.  We do not know what the warning generation program or what he says.  More information is needed.  I would also like to work on it - and it can follow to her new home.

    Step 1:

    You can temporarily disable third-party security software and firewalls installed on the system and check if the problem persists.

    Note: Be sure to enable the security software on the computer after checking.

    Step 2:

    Alternatively, you can try to run a SFC scan and check.

    This problem may occur if a system file is missing or damaged.

    Would be really happy for any help.  The application tells me that they have been moved to the storage area, but they are not there.

    Is your username mentioned in the tab security for storage files and all subfolders, and has 'full control '?

    If these files are really empty then the transfer/import routine failed for some unknown (to me) reason.

    Have you tried to copy all old messages from the Windows.old folder, put in a file in your user name for example Documents and then import from there?   It is perhaps necessary to remove to another location in the current storage folder in Windows Live Mail rather than simply delete before rerunning the import program.

    Have you tried to temporarily disable your anti program virus and other security programs to see if that blocks emails appear?

    Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click on your drive icon / properties / tools / error checking.  First try checking not be (read-only) to see if it reports any problems file or hard drive.  If this is the case, start by checking the two boxes, in no other rerun.
