E0Q10AV: Laptop is no longer sleep properly after the upgrade of the SSD.
My laptop Pavilion 15 t-n100 touchscreen goes to sleep when the lid is closed properly, or even completely off when said. He enters this weird State where the light on the power button and the WiFi switch light goes orange but continues to stay on. I can't turn on the laptop by pressing the power button or the keys on the keyboard. Battery regularly and soon enough, the computer laptop completely off. I can also get to fully power off by pressing the power button.
This occurred after I reinstalled the operating system and everything on the computer from scratch when I swapped in a Samsumg 850 500 gb SSD. (Totally worth $ 175 given the speed boots and program begins are!) I do not think that I hung it bad, but I'm open to said if I did!
I already have:
- Checked to make sure that "Wake on the keyboard" is enabled. This is the case.
- I looked for a new BIOS on the support page - http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-TouchSmart-15-n100-Notebook-PC-series/54...
- Absolutely no BIOS is available for this computer on any page of HP.
- I ran the HP Support Assistant who was installed with the laptop.
- I ran the Intel Driver Update Utility 2.2. It's all there.
- Sometimes, when I run the online tool for updating my computer on the HP support page it will tell me that there is a recommended Intel MEI to install. I told him to do, and then he tells me I'm downgrading when I do this. Should I try a MEI decommissioned HP?

My laptop has Windows Vista and is about 3 years old. It is in excellent shape, but recently it has been brought to my attention that whenever I put into hibernation mode and resume, I receive a message that indicates that the system or computer is not stopped correctly, and so I have to restart the computer. After that I have upgraded my computer laptop 14-n001TX HP for windows 10, is not shut down properly. It propely to stop after 5-10 minutes, but is not shutdown properly after working more than 50 minutes-1 hour. When I stop the laptop, the screen turns off but fan, the led power and seeing the "f12" key not turn off.
Then I went to Power Options > choose the power button > change settings that are currently unavailable > UNCHECKED enable fast start. But still the problem was not resolved. In addition to "sleep" mode in my laptop is not working properly. When I go to display mode standby turns off and rest works. But the laptop wakes again if I press a key. At this time I have to press and hold the power button until the laptop stops. I do the same thing when my laptop is not shut down properly.

Try the following.
Open settings and select System. Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.
In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '. Click on the button Save the settings, and then close the open windows and restart the laptop.
When windows has reloaded, download the driver directly from Intel IMEI on the following link, unzip the and run the installer.
Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.
When the machine rebooted, re - activate the quick start and restart the computer once more - let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

My HP laptop worked perfectly with windows 8.1. After the upgrade to windows 10 is not shut down properly. Power and wireless signals is always bright and also consumes the battery. I need to press the button for at least 4 seconds power in order to stop completely.

After an update there about 2 months, my computer has never worked properly after that I turned it back. My windows start page is longer there. My screen is black. The words are only in white and fluorescent yellow...
The only way I can go online to find Norton (is always at the bottom of the black screen) and go to help. I can get a search bar like that. Almost as if this black screen hides everything below. Computer is 13 months old.
My internet provider says it isn't them. Gateway said it's not my computer so idk what happened after this update.

- What is the model number for Gateway computer?
If you get a black screen after upgrade to Windows 8, it might be due to an outdated or incompatible graphics card driver. Update to the latest version of the display driver should fix this.
Try to remove all external devices connected to the computer and then try to start the computer and check if it works. Follow these methods and check if that helps:

I suggest you to check if the keyboard and mouse work will find in safe mode. Follow the steps that will help you perform the following checks:
a. restart the computer.
b. start typing the F8 key.
c. you get early boot option window.

After the entry into SafeMode Log in your user account and check if the keyboard and mouse are working.
After you perform method 1 Troubleshooting and if you find the keyboard and the mouse does not work correctly then you can perform the following procedure.
You can also perform the clean boot and check if you are able to start successfully. Clean boot will start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs and helps eliminate conflicts of third party software.

After the automatic update I couldn't open any program (Word, Excel, internet etc.) that I managed to resolve by restoring my laptop settings before the update. It seems to have worked until I went to use my printer. My laptop will not find my printer through devices and printers, and when I go to print a document, an error box pops up saying "Windows cannot print due to a problem with the installation of the current printer.

I have maybe in a small percentage. I have grown to love PP and have been using it for controlling certain emissions tape HDSR. I think I went from 2015.0 a.3. The reading seems to have suffered in this update. I get now loss of images of PP did not keep in touch with the reading. So put together it on tape fails and insertion don't will go not to the point where there was a framework has fallen.
There are a few other issues that are easy to manage, but tried to go through telephone support on this issue.
-Insert video or audio over half the time after insertion is finished, PP gets stuck. The Strip was inserted but the glass remains and to pass to the next punch that I have to cancel the dialog box.

There must be something that I am missing, but the time allotted to me to troubleshoot this with time etc etc is limited. What could have changed in the update for the functions to change the band which makes it unusable now?

Adobe must have heard our complaints. The new update of PP 2015.4 seems to have resolved most of the questions that we take. I always have a random frame dropped here and there. Export to tape option is viable again in PP 2015.4. I'm under PP 2015.4 with the latest drivers from the AJA.
I used Mathematica 5.2 on my MBP with Mountain Lion. After the upgrade to El Capitan, there is a problem loading the fonts and Mathematica does not load correctly. Any ideas? Wolfram has a package of fonts, but don't know what fonts to download or how to install them on my MBP. Any ideas?
Please, back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the application book fonts and validate all the fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in Help and support article for instructions. If the font book detects any problems, solve them.
Start in safe mode rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, ask for instructions.

Yesterday, I upgraded the HD of my laptop A50-109 of 3 months. The original HD installed in the laptop was (to my surprise) a Fujitsu HD 40 GB 4200 RPM 2 MB cache.
So I've upgraded to a Toshiba 80 GB 5400 RPM 16 MB of cache and had to re - install Windows XP Pro and all the drivers of toshiba.
Now, since the upgrade, the fan is constantly working even when CPU power, cooling method and all the others are on the lowest setting possible. Before the upgrade, the fan would obey the parameter of cooling method and the fan would be COMPLETELY silent, IE does not work because there was minimal use of the CPU, etc.
Now the situation has changed, and the fan runs constantly no matter what use. I am terribly disturbed by noises, and I see no reason for the change.

The fingerprint on my Envy 17 reader reads only a fingerprint the first time that I connect once the system is booted (after shutdown or restart). From time to time, it will read once the system is locked, but that is extremely rare. I put the system in place using my MSN account and also configured SimplePass with default settings. SimplePass version is 8.00.57.
I looked on several other issues in the forum and did not find something like this. Other issues reported when related to player doesn't work do not, for example. I found a few link in some messages describing such tasks that go back to a previous version of SimplePass.
I don't know if it is related to my problem or not, but I noticed that the drive light sometimes flashes a sequence once the system is running. It seems that when the light flashes, it will not be read. It stops flashing when I placed my finger on the reader. (I think that the typical sequence is 3 flashes, pause, 1 flash. This cycle repeats.) This isn't always for that well, and I have found no correlation between the flashes and the measures taken after the initial logon.
I made the fingerprint reader driver, rather than later.
I uninstalled SimplePass (after update to the last with no luck) and the drive works fine now. I use RoboForm for my password management and it supports using the fingerprint so I'm covered there. I guess it should be renamed "SimplyNoPass."
