E1000 plus PS3 NAT Type 3 Help is

I know this has been asked before, but nothing seems to work for me. My story is:

I had a WRT150N with a modem in Bridge mode and had NAT Type 2 while playing the PS3. The router has crashed and I got an E1000 in its place, he came with the basic installation CD, so I ran that. Then I was getting NAT Type 3. So I called Linksys and AT & T and could not help me, we have opened the ports that Playstation has given me and made sure that UPnP is enabled and all the things they could think of my open NAT type. But nothing worked, so if anyone knows anything I could do please let me know. Its just hard to believe that its my playstaion when I got a NAT Type 2 before my old router is not crushed. I'll provide screen shots that you need, I can't bear to have this NAT type it cause messes with my online game.

Thanks for the help,

Grant

Have you set up PPPoE for the new router and switch your modem in bridge mode?

  • NAT Type help

Hello I have a router linksys wrt310n versoin 1.0 and im trying to get nat open for my ps3, I set up a static for her ip address and I've implemented portforward for the ports, I tried to put the ps3 in the DMZ and nothing works the only thing I've found to work is to reboot the router I get an open nat type , I'm getting frustrated with this router someone please help

Weird... I'm sure thay, you know what you are doing and open ports for a device is not that hard, so I still stand by the advice that is for you to get a new router. Or if you want, you can find a good router (with or without wire) and use the Wrt310n as a switch/AP.

The fact that it works for you after the reset of the router really makes me think that you encounter the same problem that I did.

  • does anyone know how to fix NAT TYPE failed for the PS3?

  • NAT Type for PS3 (wrt610N) question

I have the wrt610N cable Internet and Modern Warefare 2 play on the PS3. Since day 1, I had a Type 2 Nat type depending on the internet connection of the PS3 test.  Modern Warfare 2 includes a Nat Type indicator on the lobby screen and mine said always moderate.

Well, after a little research, I forwarded my ports and hop, he says that my NAt type is open. Yesterday I accidentally unplugged the router and now my screen of the lobby still moderate.  My ports are always transmitted, so I have no idea of what is happening.  Any ideas?

Someone suggested that I can just go into the router and configure it to open, but it doesn't sound right.  Also, I read some posts on here and noticed people mentioning something on the home network defender in the Management tab.  I have no option.  Someone knows why?

Port 10070 - 10080 not required for MW2, however, it is necessary for the PS3... As far as the DNS is concerned, I provided you DNS on the router, you can either use router DNS, DNS ISP or the universal DNS 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220... any of them.

  • NETGEAR AC1900 R7000 several Xbox those open NAT Type

    Hi all

What is the best solution for those multiple Xbox on the same network. I have two Xbox.

My question - get an open NAT Type on both those of Xbox. Both systems have a NAT open but not for multiplayer games. More specifically, black ops 3. I have UPnP turned on, but my black ops 3 nat type is moderate. When you look at the list of UPnP, I see a port for Xbox Live service in the list as 3074, but black ops 3 requires the port UDP 3075. At the same time, 3075 UDP has been registered for one of my Xbox and now it is no longer the case. So, what I have to do is setup port forwarding and add only my IP address of the Xbox as a personalized service with the port UDP 3075 and it works. That's fine and all, but my IP address for my Xbox (both) will not change from time to time. I thought UPnP would take care of this for me.

How should I handle this so that both those Xbox use the port UDP 3075 and I don't have to worry any change my IP? Or need to be updated for my router to Negear as Black Ops is no longer using port 3074 Xbox Live?

I'm on the last update of the firmware as of today (November 9, 2015) of V1.0.4.30_1.1.67. Yet once, I thought active UPnP would solve my problems with Xbox runing both on the same network.

Your ideas/suggestions are appreciated! Thank you for your time and help in advance!

p.s. I want to summarize... I have a NAT open for two small Xbox (if I go to the Xbox a settings/network settings tab), but I'll get one Xbox, one with an open NAT and the other with a NAT moderate when you play multiplayer on black ops 3. Treyarch said they use is no longer the same port as Xbox Live, now they use port 3075.

Hope this makes sense... Please let me know if you need more information or have any questions.

You can keep changing IP addresses using the address book. Log in to the R7000. Go in ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup. Inside will be the address reservation section. Add two entries to your Xbox.

Follow the below mentioned settings, then check.

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER...

Click on the tab "Games and Applications" and then click the sub-tab "Port Range Forwarding"...
    (1) on the first line in the box, type Application in ABC, in the start box, type in 53 and type in 3074 service box, leave the Protocol as and under type 192.168.1.20 ip address and check the box to enable, click on save settings once it's been...

    (5) also assign addresses DNS on Xbox
Use DNS1 and DNS2 addresses you took note of the primary router as secondary DNS & DNS status tab for the xbox...
    (6) turn off your modem, router and Xbox... Wait a minute...
    (7) plug the power to the modem first, wait a minute and plug the router power cable, wait another minute and turn on the Xbox and... test it connects...
IP address: part 192.168.X. [last intellectual property in your device] for example if static ip given to the unit's 192.168.X.10 get the last part and put it in the empty box.

I know that this topic was beaten as a dead horse, but I still need help. I followed these instructions and double checked.

On the Configuration tab change the size of the MTU to 1365, then click on save settings...
Click the 'Administration' tab and disable the UPnP option and click on save settings...
Click on the tab "Games and Applications" and then click the sub-tab "Port Range Forwarding"...

    (3) click on the status tab, and then note the DNS1 and DNS2 addresses...
    4) go to the XBox network settings and IP address settings, select manual IP settings and assign the following operations on your Xbox
    IP address:-192.168.1.20, subnet mask:-255.255.255.0 default gateway:-192.168.1.1...

The Xbox has connected, but I always get a moderat NAT and I'm not sure why. The xbox is suggesting I open the UPnp... but just maybe it's a generic solution.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    You have a few options.

    1. use the bridge instead of router

    2. Requests Comcast to allow you to use a residential modem instead of the SMC.

    3. use the DMZ to set the router on the gateway firewall.

    4. my personal favorite, ask ComcastLarry to set the bridge mode bridge for you so that the E2000 works as the router. For this option, look at the 37th post

  • Cisco 861 DHCP + public static IPs + NAT/DNAT. Help.

    Hello

I used to use a server of self-made CentOS for intranet for my small office, but I have bouth a few days ago a router Cisco 861 to replace the linux machine.

    My needs:

    1. I have 2 public classes of IP from my ISP. 1 class is limitted 80mbit upload, the other to 30mbit upload. So I need some sort of DNAT to be able to know exactly what intranet computer uses internet great and including a single internet limitted.

    2. I need DHCP server with static IP addresses (a computer must always have the same IP address, etc)... I have my needs for this.

    3. also I need external access to certain servers on the inside (web, ftp, etc.)

    Parameters:

    (Dhcp) intranet: 10.11.12.x 255.255.255.0)

    1 public Internet: 89.45.204.118 255.255.255.248 (89.45.204.117 as gateway)

Public Internet 2: some other class in the same IP (assume 89.45.204.58/24 for example)

    DNS: 89.45.200.1

So far so good, everything seems simple and I can do this in 2 hours on a centos linux box (correct roads, active ip Routing and some rules for NAT/SNAT/DNAT iptables).

But on this new router of Centos... Well, I am not yet able to ping the outside world, nor inside world I'm tired reading the forums, documentation... I want (at the beginning) to a simple scenario: vlan + dhcp, SEA4 with 1 public ip address and ACCESS to the real world. I was not able to reach even not that much.

  • How to get a NAT type open with a linksys E2000 on PS #.

I called customer service and they were completely clueless, told me I had to pay for support to fix it. I have a Linksys E2000 and I can not open nat for my PS3, tried DMZ, and settings of the XBox, but that obviously didn't work. If anyone has any ideas until I return this router $100?

OK, I finally got it to work, here's what I did.

    On the router:

    1. I booked an IP address for my X 360.
    2 - passed my X 360 ports:
    TCP 80
    UDP 88
    53, 3074
    3 disabled uPnP

Didn't even need to reset my router or something else. I hope this works for you guys.

    any ideas? Thank you

    Hi nCCw,.

Thanks for the reply.  According to the information provided, it seems that the USB port on the printer is faulty.  It is possible that both cables are defective, but it is unlikely.  According to the age of the model, the unit is probably out of warranty.  You can check the warranty status .  If one of the following connection options are not feasible, a replacement unit will be necessary. If the unit is out of warranty it is not covered, and the unit will need to be upgraded. Support information phone HP can be found here.

    Possible connection options:

    1. infrastructure network with router (this will not work with the map broadband) - wired with Ethernet connection or wireless radio

    2. direct network Adhoc-I do not recommend this, it will provide the feature with the connected computer, but other only single connection while the printer is connected (no internet access during this time)

Try this to see if we can get the USB port to respond (if the port it completely dead it will not):

    1. check the port, if it is loose, push firmly in place

    2. clean, use a lint cloth and gently wipe the contacts on the inside

Note: If the unit is out of warranty, I recommend you to contact the helpline.  Often updates are offered at discounted rates for a guaranteed customers value.  If you choose to upgrade, be sure to ask about care packs.  These may also be available at a discount for the purchase of upgrade.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need additional assistance.

    Kind regards

Web sites report that my firefox is a previous version and does not support this site.

You should try a few things:

Sites Internet says that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version

Also, on an unrelated note, your graphics drivers are VERY outdated and you need to update to improve the stability and performance. Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
