E1200 1 month, 2 reboots / restarts old router, 5 zero

Twice I shot the computer on my network to find no connectivity... after waiting on the Windows XP or Windows 7 Enterprise (2 different computers) to repair only to result in "unable to set", I finally corrected the two instances by unplugging the power cord to the e1200 and re - plug.

What is going on? A router from another company's previous wireless ran for 5 years without rebooting... radio went wobbly, but that's another story.

Firmware 2.0.04 build 1 30 July 2012

Essentially the Log function on the router will help you track all activities in your network. It also records the errors that may occur. Tech geeks generally use this feature to read and questions of identity through the router.

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L655 is one year old and its operating system is Windows 7 home Premium I have Comcast internet service and use a NetGear wireless router.

Recently, about 2 months ago I got this router in Comcast, in replacement of my old 1. Why I asked that a new router was the former 1 had problems to stay connected to the internet. The problem persisted even with the new router so I look at it is not not a problem with Comcast or the router. I tried resetting the connection, the son, restart the router, diagnostics running on my laptop and are not yet able to resolve the problem. I run disc optimization, defragment the hard drive, run many virus / spyware scans and tried to disable startup programs as much as possible. This problem has frustrated me for months and I want to get it resolved. It sucks paying all that money for equipment and service and there not work directly without having to spend more money, which I have unfortunately not yet. Any help is very appreciated.

  • P1102w printer: have new router and can not figure out how to print wireless at P1102w printer - he sees old router

I installed a new router (Netgear R6220) and cannot figure out how to get the P1102w printer to recognize the new router. It shows the former name of the router (Belkin.833) on the test page and displays the IP address configured by AutoIP rather than DHCP as the old router does. The computer is a desktop Dell Dimenstion about 3 years and use Windows 7. The router connects to the computer to the Internet.

Help - How to make the printer recognize and communicate with the new router? (The original installation instructions don't seem to work for me.)

I made an update of the firmware a few months ago and the currtent datecode is 20130703. Allowed to print from my Samsung S2 Tablet through the router.

    Here's what finally worked.

1 had to withdraw from old installation CD but Uninstall selected, so I completely shut down the computer. Guy at Best Buy said to "remove the device" but it was not enough.

    2. download install the latest software from the HP download site and ran it. (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL32431/bi-80329-11/hp_LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution-v20120831-50157036_SMO.exe)

3 downloaded another file and ran it. (Setup_IP4, [192_168_1_5], [NPI073E2D] _it) Not sure where I found this one, but the software prompted me to run.

Finally, everything works and all devices are wireless printing

As much as I know there is has no problems known with WIFI connection and I n know exactly what happens with your WIFI connection. After the reboot of the router try turning off the WIRELESS card with for a short while, turn it back on and try to connect again.

The parameters are the same and nothing should be changed.

  • Installed printer uninstalled after reboot/restart of the computer

During the last two weeks, I had to reinstall my printer (Kodak ESP3250) manually after every reboot/restart my computer running Windows XP with service pack 3. It's never happened before with the same printer and the same computer. I have made no changes to my computer during the period in question, except regular updates from Microsoft, can someone explain why it's happening and what I can do to stop it?

    Hello

Follow these steps and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

I suggest you try to update the latest drivers for the printer and check if it helps:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/print_drivers_install_updatew.mspx?mfr=true

    Method 2:
Try to perform the clean boot and check if it helps:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
NOTE: When you are finished troubleshooting, make sure that put you the computer in start mode normal as suggested article above.

  • How can I change the SSID on my wireless printer. He has my old router ID.

    HP Photosmart Plus B 209

    Windows Vista 64-bit

SSID was not found (I put it manually)

I select the printer and then he said: "(imprimante sélectionnée n'est pas présent, connectez l'imprimante & réessayer)"

Several times, I get the same message.

But my printer will work hooked up to the USB key.

My old router (Netgear) leaves so I bought a new.  Everything worked fine before.  Installed a new and my computer (HP laptop) worked well, went to use the printer... Finally uninstalled and installed, but would never go farthur than the above.  I don't know what to try more except that I printed the wireless network Test report and he tells me that the printer cannot find the wireless router.  I noticed that the SSID has the old name.   Also print the Page of Network Configuration of HP and see that he concluded l network, which is the new.  So, where can I change printer SSID?  I can't find where I can change it.

    Thank you

I'm changing the speed at which my mouse pointer moves on the screen.  I'm doing a 'demand' the change, and then click on 'ok '.   The point of the mouse moves faster in the game.  Then after reboot/restart the computer, the mouse setting is default slower movement speed.   The changes are not saved after reboot.   What keeps the change of speed of movement of the mouse to be saved?

    2. in the System Configuration dialog box, click the Startup tab
    3. Locate the entries called KHALMNPR or similar and uncheck the box next to them (there may only be a)

  • How to connect old router to router new

I have a dvd player internet which can connect only through a wired connection but my router (verizon wi - fi modem) is in another room.
I was wondering how I can connect my old router (e2000) wirelessly to another room? Would I have set up as an access point?

    blazex4 wrote:

I understand. I was wondering if the universal media without wire - ca connector will work also instead of using my old router?

In my view, a connector of ca wireless media would only connect to a router of AC. What you can do is to get a wireless bridge and put it up as a wireless adapter for your DVD player. The wireless bridge to connect wireless to your router and you can wire your DVD drive to the bridge. To do this, I recommend WES610N (Dual-Band N/entertainment deck with 4 switch ports) Linksys.

  • Router WRT160N v2 lose wired connections have to restart the router, then all is well again.

    Hi all...

I'm having some trouble with my WRT160N v2 router, now I use it only to share the internet connection between wired PC.

I have tride (with the help of live chat) to reduce the size of the MTU to 1300, with no success, also an update of the firmware was informed, but I can't find an update for the version "v2" of the WRT160N router.

    The behavior is really funny:

-Get random msgs "cable network is disconnected" and "local network connection is now connected".

    * plugged direct cable from my modem to the PC then there is no problem, me makes me believe cables are ok

-Some sites don't be loading not on two PCs connected to the router, Firefox and IE8 trough during live chat, confirmed the site is up, it's as if something is stuck in the cache of the router or something that prevents some loading sites, sites that happen are random, the browser are not even a real attempt to connect but go now empty.

-Repair windows and hollow EasyLink advisor will have no effect, Easylink advisor indicates that the connection is good when it doesn't appear, restart the router is always fix the problems (for a while)

    Modem: Comcast Cable

    Router: WRT160N v2

PC1: XP Pro SP3 connected cable trough using Avast 4 Pro Security

PC2: XP Pro SP3 connected hollow cable using Outpost Security Suite Pro 2009

It's very frustrating because you can imagen, I hope someone got some clues for me on this one...

    Thanks in advance...

It should list version 1, 2 and 3, when you go to: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WRT160N/download

Here are the instructions to DOWNGRADE the WRT160N V2, DO NOT USE this on VERSION 1 or 3, it will turn your router into a door stop!

Printer not responding not connections (wireless printer) is good and solid. I replaced my old router wirelessly with a router of valuation.  I had to plug it, but the printer does not respond now.

Is what brand and model of printer?

I do not work unless your new router has the same SSID and password wireless as the old. Consult your printer documentation to find out how to handle the situation. For example, some Lexmark wireless printers have a program called Configuration Utility Wireless in the Lexmark folder under all programs on the start menu that is used to set up the printer when changes are made to the wireless network.

  • reboot/restart loop without end after installation

Firefox suggested the update of the United Nations, I said okay and got the Firefox Setup 8.0 file in my downloads (details: data of version 4.42.0.0 of Firefox Mozilla file 2011-11-14 to 21:26 size 14.0 MB).
I ran it and the Installer seems to go ok after she asked the PC must be restarted.
    After the reboot it says
"Your computer must be restarted to complete previous update of Firefox. Do you want to restart now? Yes/No ".
When I reboot I'm just back in the same question that is an endless loop.
The 'funny', is that if I try to uninstall Firefox I'll meet the same question, otherwise said, I can not even uninstall + reinstall Firefox in order to circumwent the problm.
What should I do? I want to continue to use Firefox, but have now been forced to use a poor competitor.

  • chip Z50-70 problem reboot / restart issue and 8 GB ram

    Salvation;
I have lenovo z50-70 notebook with Intel i7, 8GH RAM and 250 GB of kingston SSD
The bios of the laptop is v.29
I installed win 7 PRO 64-bit operating system.
The system has worked well for about 2 weeks. After this time I noticed the strange question - the laptop is unable to boot from the disk hard when restarting/rebooting the system is used. It breaks down screen goes black and then the cell phone tries to do something (Lenovo logo at all), goes down and repeat for infinity.
When the pxe boot is enabled the system constantly trying to boot from pxe. anoint and once again.
I can only close the laptop to the power button and restart. It seems that the system does not recognize the hard drive during the reboot process.
When I stopped the system (down) and leaves - everything works fine and the system starts normally without any problems.
I also noticed one other issue - the laptop does not recognize the 8 GB of ram chip. (kingston 8GB PC3 - 12800 CL11 204 pins SODIM). It is little matter if I use this RAM, alone or with other RAM - laptop chips recognize only 4 GB or 2 x 4 GB. I tested the RAM 8GH in other laptop (dell and benq) and it works fine, only Suur z50-70 a problem with it.
I don't know if the ram and restart problems are related to each other, but both of them seems to have problems hardware or bios.

    Any help will be appreciated

    Hello
I solved the problem by upgrading the SSD firmware.
I used the tool of kingston for upgrade (for ssd SV300S3 series):
    http://www.Kingston.com/us/support/technical/downloads?product=SV300S3&filename=V300_525fw_Win

The upgrade process takes a few seconds and after that, everything works fine. I've done a few reboots and I can't reproduce the problem.

  • Wreg54g lost connection after a reboot of the router

Hi everibody! I need your assistance if anyone can help me... Recently, someone helped me and installed my Wreg54g.after some time, I had to reboot my router so I can connect my phone (it had to be directly to the router... so I had to reboot). After this operation, my amplifier lost blue light, a red connection.one... so I pressed the auto configuration button, two lights transferred to the Blues, but again, I do not have the full signal on my comp.what I did wrong, how can I solve this problem?

According to me, that the settings on the range extender had been dirty so you press the AUTO Setup button when you tried to reconnect if it is understandable. What I suggest, is to ensure that the wireless internet works fine via the router, then on the WRE54G, configure the wireless settings again manually (without executing the implementation of CD) the same thing with the router. Check on the items below to guide you in the implementation of the Extender manually. Moreover, firstly, the Extender reset before the reconfiguration.

  • Must restart the router wireless whenever I start my laptop Vista. __

I have a Dell Studio laptop 1735 under Windows Vista Premium, Service Pack 2. Last week, all of a sudden it will not identify the wireless network. It will show the connection to the local network, but not the Internet. It seems to be churning out, attempt to identify the network 'Public '.

If I unplug the router (Belkin Wireless, 2296E1), wait 10 seconds and plug it back, internet is fine. When I turn the machine, no internet.

    • I deleted the network wireless and recreated - no change.
    • I tried to "Diagnose the problem" he tells me to reboot the router.
    • I tried to reset the NIC - no change.
    • I disconnect and reconnect - local, but no internet.

I've updated the software Dell Wireless. My Windows updates are up to date.

I have a Windows 7 computer and a MacBook as well - both are very good. That is what it is?

    Hello

Turn the computer close to the wireless router to compensate for weak or blocked signals that could be part of the problem in the place of work more far.

    In the computer itself.

Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Check network connections to make sure that you have a network icon/entry wireless connection, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_connection_tcp.jpg

Make sure that if there is Wireless Utility a utility vendor is not running with the native Windows wireless utility.

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.

Above everything is OK and it connects to the wireless router. Log in from any computer which is, or can be connected to the router with a wire wireless, disable wireless security and try to connect with no. wireless security.

  • How Reboot/restart Dell Powerconnect 6224

    Hello

My company has 2 powerconnect 6224, 1 is the master and 1 slave, do I know how could restart/reboot my switch in the GUI?

Can I use the cli to restart/reboot command and what is the command line.

    Thank you

Using the CLI to recharge the battery, you must use the # reload command. You can add the number of the switch in the command reload members of chimneys. charge # 1, # reload 2.

You can also use the command console (config-battery) #initiate failover. This command forces a warm restart of the battery. The unit of backup succeeds the new management unit without clear status of material on the stack members. The original management unit restarts.

In the graphical user interface, you can reboot the switch with entering the system > general > reset. You can also start a recovery using System > stacking > NSF summary. Initiate failover will begin a warm reboot of the switch.
