E2500 share directories or files

I found some similar topics that really does not solve my problem. I replaced a WRT54G with an E2500. The wired PC runs XP SP3 THAT, wireless computers are (1) v. 7 and XP SP3 (1). Print sharing works well, but all the files on the "host" PC shares fail. I ran "net share" disabled all of the directories on the 'host' and even wireless computers, then restarted all. The Win7 PC can see the only directory that I put in place to share, but when I try to open it, I get a message that the directory is inaccessible (maybe due to permissions) and «there is not enough available to process the command of storage server» XP PC wireless gives the same error, but can access the printer and see the directory to be shared on the 'host '.

Note - I do not disable the printer sharing before restarting, and if I put in the old WRT54G, the file and print sharing work correctly. I know I'm missing something simple, but I can't make it work. I also doesn't change anything about the homegroup on any PC.

This could have something to do with the IRPStackSize registry entry on the computer that is located at the lowest. Check the resolution from this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/106167. I would like to share a text file with all the possible objectives, but the invocation will automatically open an email with the file attached.

    I can click on the attachment and select sharing, but I'd like to get this default selection.

    What's wrong?

    InvokeRequest shareRequest;
    shareRequest.setAction("bb.action.SHARE");
    shareRequest.setMimeType("text/plain");
    shareRequest.setUri("file:///" + filePath);
    invokeManager->invoke(shareRequest);

    To answer my own question:

    Instead of an InvokeRequest, you will need to use an InvokeQuery.

    void DataServiceUtil::shareFile(QString filePath) {
      invocation = Invocation::create(InvokeQuery::create().parent(this).uri("file:///" + filePath));
      invokeActionId = "bb.action.SHARE";
      connect(invocation, SIGNAL(armed()), this, SLOT(onArmed()));
      connect(invocation, SIGNAL(finished()), invocation, SLOT(deleteLater()));
    }

    onArmed called simply relaxing on the invocation

    You should be able to share files between Windows 8 and Windows 7 very well.

  • Duplicate files: I have a large number of directories and files dublicate in "C:\Documents and Settings".

    I have a large number of dublicate files and directories in 'C:\Documents and Settings\Jim\' and 'C:\Users\Jim\' after the upgrade of Windows Vistat Ultimate 64 bit to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Why?

    The documents are really in the second folder, Documents and Settings is
    a junction point.

    In Vista and Windows 7, "Documents and Settings" is not a folder.
    Vista/Win7 uses a different file structure than XP/don't. Those who don't know
    the names of folders you can be used for, such as "My Documents", "Documents &.
    Settings', etc. are not folders in Vista/Win7. They are the points of junction,
    and are used for legacy programs that have been written to use the XP file
    structure.
    They will redirect the programs to use the Vista/Win7 equivalents records.
    If you keep hidden protected operating system files, you will not see them.

    In Vista/Win7...
    The documents & settings-> \Users
    My Documents-> \Users\youraccount\Documents
    My music-> \Users\youraccount\Music
    Application-> \Users\youraccount\AppData data
    etc.

  • Windows 7 and bios sees not the hard drive, but when I connect the hard drive to the USB with an adapter, I see directories and files

    Please, I need pc

    Original title: windows 7 and bios does not see the hard drive. but when I connect the hard drive to the USB with an adapter, I see directories and files... Ive a hp Pavilion, what to do?

    Check the BIOS for hard drive setting.

    Make sure that you do not connect the drive to a SATA/RAID port.

    Old IDE drives - check the jumper on the drive (use "Cable Select" as a starting point), the BIOS must also be set in legacy/compatibility/IDE mode. Note: If you currently use the AHCI mode, then switch to IDE mode may cause Windows to boot.

  • How can I share a project (file .band) with another iPad?

    I want to send the project (all the individual does not follow the MP3) to anyone to edit. It is too big for email and file .band is not recognized by Dropbox. Is it possible to share Garageband projects? Thank you

    You can share the project, if you have a Mac and iTunes.

    If you want to work together on a project, GarageBand from different locations, you need both a computer with iTunes to transfer the project between iPads.

    • You can share the song as a song on iTunes and download the project on a Mac.
    • The project of mail
    • Your friend can download the project on the iPad via iTunes on a Mac and open it in GarageBand.

    See this help page: http://help.apple.com/garageband/ipad/2.0/index.html#chs39284d66

    All the other ways to share the song would only transfer the bounced audio file, not the project.

    Have a read of the link above re Vista file and printer sharing.

    Permissions/Share info is there as well.

    If you use Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro or Kaspersky I.S., make that file and printer sharing is enabled in THE Firewall (or LAN enabled, depending on how their Exceptions are formulated in their firewall)

    Read the information above.

    See you soon.

  • Difficulty a user profile corrupt: impossible to copy and paste user\C:------directories and files; is locked a factor of State?

    I'm trying to fix my profile by following the instructions found here. It is well written and easy to follow. Except that I can't make it work.

    I copy everything except the ntuser files (do not know if they are completely copy) but when I go to the new user and click on paste, nothing happens. And when I check in a directory, say 'office,' my files aren't there.

    I don't know why but quite a number of my directories is locked, including the "desktop" and many in the appdata directory. I think that there is too much to try to take ownership and change permissions; I can't do that for all of these directories.

    Is there a way to get around this?

    Thanks much for any help.

    Promotion of all administrator-level accounts won't hurt.

    What you say sounds pretty confusing. It is not consistent with my knowledge of Windows and the file/folder permissions. Here are a few options for you to consider:

  • Share a large file taking up hard drive space

    My question is when you share a large folder does it take twice the space on my C: drive. My readers to music, the songs show as duplicates. So I was wondering if it takes up to twice the amount of space on my hard drive?  Anyone has any idea on this?

    Libraries are points of junction for the single file, which can occur as well in common & Public, but this is the only file that they point

    When I make a record with sound recorder and save the file, it is locked - I can't share it.  I can open it manually by right-clicking on the file and share it, but I wish that the default value should be set to share with everyone.  I can't find the right button to push... Thanks for any help!

    Original title: default sharing settings Sound Recordings

    Thanks for the reply.

    I did some additional checking and it seems that it is limited to the records.  I made a folder with paint and saved in the same folder that I'm having problems of locking with and it wasn't locked - I could access the homegroup from another computer.

    I think that I followed all the instructions of sharing that I found that have been proposed in the response e-mail, but nothing helps.

    Thank you once again.

  • Is it possible for me to share my PDF files online?

    I wish I could share a few PDF, I downloaded to the cloud to Adobe with my clients by sending them a link. Is this possible?

    Absolutely!

    Just select the files you want to share, and then click Send.

    If you have a paid subscription to send to Adobe, you can send the links directly by selecting the option to send the custom Invitations . Otherwise, select create an anonymous link and then click on the blue button to create a link .

  • How to list, view, and edit the directories and files of ESXi 4.1 host?

    We are in transition to ESXi 4.1and I examination of the chnages will make managing hosts. We will use ot vMA and I have working for most things, but there are a few tasks I would like to be able to do that I can't understand.

    How to check a file system of the host. I would like to be able to browse, discover, and/or modify some files ESXi host. (for example/var/log) do not know what are the options I have for this with ESXi 4.1. Which of them, you can browse the file host system? Are there other ways?

    • vMA (can not know how to do this with vMA)
    • Browser such as https://ESXi host/file and https://ESXi Host/host (these only show data warehouses and select the conf/log files. are there other links to directories of home?)

You can set up syslog to push the message log file to a syslog or receiver to a location in the data store.

  • Share an editable file and the application to send to the editor

    Hello. I'm a little confused about some parts of the work with the applications of dps. We are two people working together, and that is why, of course, we would like to share the applications that we create. But since InDesign, it seems that files can go and that is up in the cloud. I discovered that I can download the .folio (even if it is very enigmatic to do) by the producer of Folio, but I can't download anything can be changed, which will be necessary if we want to work between multiple computers. In addition, it would be very convenient to be able to share a file making, before I download, select icon photos etc. and blue Press publish button. It is a very long process.

    We would also like to send applications to publishers that we work for, so they can download them with their Apple account, not ours. We do not want to pay monthly for their books. If send us the .folio file (that I got by pressing on publier published in Folio Producer, then export) to them, be able to publish the application by downloading it to Apple?

    I should mention that I use only the free version of creative cloud. I don't know if it has relevant limits for these problems. I know I can pay extra to be able to share in the cloud, but that doesn't change the fact, I think, that you can't change the files that you download. I'm still not able to change my own files uploaded with the same computer and the same account.

    Thank you in advance.

    You misunderstand the DPS workflow. When you publish / export in the Folio Producer, you create a .zip (with content .folio) file which is useful for creating a custom application, not for distribution or sharing for editing. It's a bit like trying to change a PDF file instead of the source Word or InDesign file.

    Here's what you can do. Create a folio and use the command 'Share' to share this folio with others. When you share a Folio, recipients can download the folio on their iPads and discovers the folio in the Folio Builder Panel. Beneficiaries may change the metadata and add new items, but they cannot change the source someone another items files.
