E280v1 dies with pressure.

This morning, I played music on my e280v1 as I do every day, and it suddenly stopped. I looked at the player and he was off, and the power button did nothing. Mode of manufacterer, recovery, etc. did nothing.  Plug it into my computer does nothing more.  I checked to see if something had become somewhat bad inserted inside, or if the last time I cleaned it, I missed something. Everything seemed peachy, and I tried to plug in without the battery current. Works fine, until I put the battery in and unplug it, then it just stops suddenly.  Time to get a new battery?

You have a bad connection somewhere. If it is not the battery, it could be the 'map' daughter taking the memory chip. Others have had similar problems with the v1 models.

Check out this thread, complete with pictures. Once you remove the battery, there will be 4 smaller screws to screw. This will allow you to go gently (I begins in the port of bottom connector) and clear the case apart. This will give you access to the circuit to the breast. Listen by pressing down on the chip/memory card to see if you hear (or feel) a light click.

Often, it seems that the Xoom has a mind of its own and I noticed that it seems that causes pressure on the banks to do things I'm not saying it to do.

And then reading a book by Google Book Search or the Kindle app to touch the side of the screen to turn a page, it is often two or three instead of one.

A lot of buttons seems to be much too sensitive. Is there a way to lower the sensitivity of the touch? I couldn't see in the settings, but it would be easy for me to miss.

    Welcome to arizona-willie,

I don't think there is a way to lower the sensitivity to the 'touch' or region on the Xoom. I found with my unit that it does not recognize a tap on the perimeter black solid, but it will be pick-up my finger if it flies over the slightest on the portion of the screen. With the help of the portfolio of Motorola or a gel sleeve helps me keep the Xoom without touching the edges during usage. This could be another option to look at.

  • Assistant device communicating with pressure gauge, but still get error 1073807246 after conversion of Win7

I have a simple .vi I used last year to connect with a manometer. There is no pressure journal and intrigue over time. Our computers just got converted to Windows 7, and now I can't get the .vi to work. I can go in the wizard of the Instrument and send a command to the gauge and the gauge will react appropriately. But, when I run the program, didn't get any pressure on my face or in my log file information.

I searched the error code and tried several things including http://www.ni.com/support/labview/visa/verr3.htm. I'm guessing it's a simple solution, I don't know what it is. Help a newbie!

Are you absolutely sure that you have closed all other programs that may access the port? Having MAX open with a panel of test VISA or an older version of LabVIEW would cause the error.

  • LaserJet cp1025nw install dies with an error in windows

printer worked fine even with the wireless, then stopped.

After deleting the printer and try a reinstall - the install program dies during the installation of the drivers and message "HP Printer Software install has stopped working".

    Any ideas?

    THX

Okay, well that was a beast of a problem to say the least. I am so relieved to be done with this nonsense.

How it all started - a little recap:

We changed the password on our wireless network we have updated for security reasons.  I could not find all that helped me update the details of the network (password or the SSID) directly on my printer and said all that I had to uninstall and reinstall everything (and re - run the wifi via USB connection). This is not the case - there is a much simpler solution that I have will cover also the end of this post. Anyway, as mentioned above, during the phase of the installation of device drivers, the installation program plant with the Windows message "HP Installer Setup has stopped working".

    How I fixed it:

    1. print a configuration page by pressing the button "resume" for a few seconds and let go. I have taken note of the following in the upper right:

    Status: Not connected
    Network in use: no
    IP address: 0.0.0.0

I myself am continued to ask me if I could connect the printer directly via the port ethernet so I...

2 connect a cat5 from my laptop to the printer.

3 printed a second Setup page. Now, I got the following information:

    Status: connected

    Network in use: Wired

    IP address: 169.254.71.50

    4. I opened my web browser and tried to 169.254.71.50, but the page wouldn't connect. I recently built a computer game and has found a way to bridge the internet from a laptop wireless to a wired device (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96Z1_6rX5qU) so I was wondering if this could work with the printer.

5 filled my network connections and wireless according to the video above.

6a open my web browser and once more tried to navigate to 169.254.71.50 and it WORKED! (Not sure if this IP address is unqiue for my printer, but printing a configuration report is the best place to find it.

    7. I clicked on the Networking tab and then select Wireless Configuration.

    8. from there, I was able to activate my wireless connection, my password wireless update and choose I wanted to connect to the wireless network! This is how you can update your wifi information without having to do a complete reinstall!

    9. I now unplugged the ethernet cable (as suggested next to turn on/off radio buttons. My printer wireless power and is light stayed on. I have now connected once again!

    10. I don't think it was a crucial step, but I also implemented printing mobile ePrint

    11. I printed another page of configuration and can now see the following:

    Status: connected

    Periphery in use: wireless

    IP address: 192.168.1.115

    12. I can now navigate to the printer in my browser using this IP address and was able to find and print on my printer wireless through my phone, but still couldn't print from my wireless laptop.

    13. I inserted the original installation CD, held my breath and clicked on install. Hold your breath here is optional.

    14. He asked how I wanted to connect, and as before, I choose wireless. This time, instead of asking me to connect the USB, it FINDS my printer on the network. I chose this, clicked on continue and all installed successfully!

Everything is now back to normal! I can use my wireless printer once more. Please let me know if anyone has additional information on the steps above need, or if something does not work for you because there is no other solution out there. Believe me, I spent HOURS AND HOURS to research. I hope this helps some of you!

  • If a PC dies with WIndows on it can I use Windows key again?

I have a laptop which is dead. Not real hard but drive map graphic or motherboard is dead. I have the copy of XP on it. Is it possible to reuse this copy of XP or not?

If your copy of Windows XP came pre-installed on the drive, then you would not be able to use it on another laptop or computer from your version of Windows that are pre-installed are specially configured to work only with the computer, it came with.

But if it's a retail copy then you can install it permanently on a new computer, however, you may need to activate by phone.

  • Hard drive dies with Vista on it, to install my W7 update on the new drive

The situation: laptop drive does not reach the point it is unbootable Windows Vista that is on it.  But starting with a live CD (Ubuntu) has allowed me to save data files.  If the reader can be usable for a while yet.  I have a new drive.  I do not have the recovery discs (my bad) and they are difficult to obtain from the manufacturer of the laptop.  So I bought a Windows 7 upgrade version (technically, I have a valid copy of Windows Vista).
Question: How do I / can I install Windows 7 on the new disk and activate it?
It is as easy as installing the new disk and do a phone activation?  Microsoft will activate the product with only my word that I don't have a valid activation of Windows Vista and that this activation will not be used in the future?

A blank hard drive will require a license "Full Version" of Windows 7, not a license upgrade.

  • License of Microsoft XP Professional OEM supplied with sticker pasted on the OEM machine

    Hello

I have a question about the legitimate use of the Microsoft XP Professional OEM license with the sticker stuck on HP machines. A few months back, I bought a few these old desktops from a local supplier. These machines have Microsoft XP Professional sticker pasted on the body of office (the label also mentions that the license must be sold separately). I also formatted the machines and installed XP Professional on the machines once more and activated the XP online button glued on the desktop.

My dealer told me that these are the OEM licenses and they will so that the Office on which they were installed. If the office is sold to anyone, it is legitimate to the buyer to use the Windows XP operating system on this office legally. I want a reconfirmation on it. Can someone please advise?

    Thanks in advance.

    Amadou makhtar

    Hi Nathalie,.

If the PC is sold on the copy of Windows can go with it. (With an OEM license simply means that one) the permit is cheaper than a retail license and b) the licensed software cannot be installed on the original machine. In other words, you cannot use the Windows XP CD, you have to install another copy of Windows on another machine. It should always be installed on the first machine on which you installed.

While versions of the software 'detail' are more expensive, the buyer is not limited, as would be an OEM. For example, with a copy to the detail, you can install on a machine, then after a few years, this machine of the scrap and re - install copy of Windows on a new machine. An OEM copy you can only install on the first PC. If that PC is finally abandoned the software license dies with him.

  • Can I use a product key OEM Windows 7 provided with my laptop on a different computer if my laptop original broke and I no longer use it?

I have a disc of "Window7 Holiday Home Edition". I got it on my laptop. But the broken laptop. Can I put on my laptop, using the "Product Key" that used it on the laptop.

I have a disc of "Window7 Holiday Home Edition". I got it on my laptop. But the broken laptop. Can I put on my laptop, using the "Product Key" that used it on the laptop.

Sorry, but there is no such thing as «Window7 Holiday Home Edition»  This is the ultimate. Home Basic or Home Premium.

He intervenes, it it is preinstalled on your laptop and the laptop died, the license to use, he died with him. It cannot be moved to another computer.

Preloaded is an OEM version and the biggest drawback of an OEM version (at least in the USA) is that its license it permanently binds to the computer first it is installed on. He can never legally be moved to another computer, sold, or given to outside (except with the original computer). If the computer dies or is stolen, your license dies with him.

  • HP Pavilion 13 x 2 & pen pressure sensitivity

I'm looking to make the HP Pavilion 13 X 2 at some point. I'm a graphic designer in need of a new computer. I would really like a cell phone that doubles as a my space of work/medium. I was looking at many other brands of portable convertible and none (in my area at least price) set in support of the pens with pressure sensitivity. I was wondering if 13 X 2 support for pens with sensitivity to pressure. This is a real deal breaker for me so that can its important that I find something.

Rayze Hi, I did some research on the issues that you have published on the pressure sensitivity and unfortunately this computer model does not support the use of the stylus.  I suggest that you go online at www.hpshopping.com . On this site you can actually compare the price of a model so get to the top of several pages of specifications so that you can compare side by side, which model is best for you.

    I hope this helps.

I got a new computer (an old dies) new a windows vista and I have to disable the old computer before I load the same copy of Vista on my new computer.  If yes how can I do this?

If Vista is preinstalled on your OLD computer, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

A single license is a single Installation.

If it is a retail Vista license, read the information on the clean install and then reactivate it:

You have already discovered, your AV closed your Defender Windiows because your AV has his own Defender, and having 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.

List of the AVs that will stop Windows Defender are...

    Microsoft Security Essentials
    Norton
    MacAfee
    AVG

Canoe uninstall you or reinstall Windows Defender. It is part of the operating system. He lives and dies with the system.

You do not get 0x800106B error code if you try to open Windows Defender, which is disabled by your AV.
    So, question:
What did you want to do what it will take to open Windows Defender?

If you try to enter the startup programs, you can do without going through Windows Defender.

    Start < in="" the="" search="" box,="" type="" msconfig=""> Startup tab > here is the list of startup programs...

To disable - uncheck the box.
    To activate the checkbox....

WARNING: Make sure that you know for sure to turn it off. If you are not sure, ask first.

I have a desktop computer with Vista business I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and install Vista on a laptop that has XP Pro but is Vista capable.

    Hello

If you use the Vista licence as part of the upgrade to Windows 7 you cannot use the license of Vista anywhere elsewhere

It is part of the upgrade process

    and also read this on licensing rules;

If Windows was preinstalled on your computer, Dell, HP, etc., or you bought an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

The Windows OEM license is linked to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a retail Windows license, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

  • Try to change startup programs, but a problem with Windows Defender gets in the way.

I'm trying to delete a program to start automatically when my computer starts.  When I go to control panel and click "Edit startup programs" it tells me that Windows Defender is disabled. So I click on "put in operation and open Windows Defender" and get an error message: 0x800106ba

    1. If you are using Vista, Windows Defender is part of the operating system. It can NOT be uninstalled. He lives and dies with the system.

    2. If you have the following antivirus (AV) installed, Windows defender is supposed to be stopped by the AV:
    Norton
    McAfee
    AVG
    Microsoft Security Essentials

3 here is another way to startup programs...
Start button > in the search box, type msconfig > press the Enter key > uac prompt > Startup tab > you can find the program it?

    4. If you have, see if you are able to activate Windows Defender long enough before your AV it stops again...

Start button > in the search box, typeServices > press the Enter key > scroll to find Windows Defender, click on it >...
topic status , it must be said... Has begun
under Startup Type, it must be said... Automatic
If it does not say that, right click on Windows Defender > click Properties > in the new window, make the necessary changes, as above > click OK when finished.

Do you not normally take a hard drive with an installed operating system, on a single computer and put it in another for a start of it.
