E4200 Intel 5300 on Lenovo T400 does not connect to N 2.4 ghz or 5 GHz

I searched the problem as well I can I

to not eval, I can't have the Intel 5300 on a Lenovo T400 to connect to N or Radio

I tried every combination possible parameter on the E4200

and on the 5300

That was a lot of combinations

I can't get a G-connection on 2.45 ghz and only one on the 5 GHz range

To make things worse, try to call Lenovo is useless without a warranty

they wont even answer simple questions without it, crazy!

Have you disabled WMM on the E4200? If you have, then no card Intel and many will fail to connect to any frequency N. For 5 GHz specification requires it to be enabled, but don't really care about many adapters, unfortunately the Intel cards and fail to connect.

  • Lenovo y480 does not connect to wifi

I've had my y480 (renovated) Lenovo for about a week now and it connected to my wifi without problem the first days. Then last night it suddenly lost internet connection and has not received this morning either. I rebooted several times. All of my other "gadgets" / laptops get the connection. This one seems to find my router for a second, give me internet for a second, then don't say 'no internet connection' and then finally say that it does not find my wifi connection.

    Don't know what to try.

    Thank you

    Casey

After that I went out for a few hours, I came back and my power went out in my apartment. Now, everything seems to work again.

I'm confused because I tried to reset the router once.

It is unusual to have one computer accepts not WiFi sometimes? I have not experienced this with my other computers. I want to just make sure that the problem is not something to be feared that the system is refurbished.

    Thank you very much!

    • To connect to the net, I use the Ethernet cable that I have in my room; is there something I need to deselect to return to the Wi - Fi connection?

    Help please

    Hi Xavier

You see any unknown device or network with an exclamation point controller in Device Manager?

If that's the case download a driver Support.lenovo.com.

If you have any unusual driver in Device Manager, I suggest you go to the BIOS settings

Keep tapping F2 once you turn on the computer

Once inside the BIOS go to the Configuration tab and see if you have Wireless - set as active.

Press F10 to save and exit.

again check your device manager and see if she returned, or if you have a different unit now under device Manager.

    Hope this helps

  • Computer laptop Lenovo G500 does not connect to wifi when I travel.

I've had this problem since day one. A support person of Lenovo managed to connect when I first became aware of the issue, but it would not log the next time I was in a hotel. The support people with the service provider for the hotel wifi could not help me. Drivers have been checked, windows has been updated. Microsoft security essentials antivirus running. At home, I connect to internet through my ethernet cable.  I travel quite often and my laptop is useless, unless a wired connection is available. Help!

    Hi Mario,.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue. I will certainly help you in this matter.

This problem can occur if authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network checkbox is enabled. If this box is checked, but there is no server to authenticate the connection is interrupted. If you turn on the wireless network connection, it disconnects again after a short period. This problem can also occur if Wi - Fi drivers are not updated properly, or due to changes in the network settings.

Try these methods below and check.

Method 1: run it Troubleshooting Internet connection problems.

Try to run the Internet Connection Troubleshooter that can help you solve the problems with the internet connection.

    1. Press the "Windows + C" to activate the menu of charms or move the mouse to the bottom right of the screen and you will get the menu of charms.
    2. Click Search , and then select settings.
    3. Troubleshooting of type and select Troubleshooting.
    4. Click network and Internet , and then select Internet connections.
    5. Click Next to run the troubleshooter.

If the problem persists, follow method 2.

    Method 2: Disable IEEE 802 authentication. 1 X.

To disable authentication IEEE 802. 1 X, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl, and then press ENTER.

    2. Right click on your wireless network connection and then click Properties.

    3. Click the wireless networks tab.

    4. Under preferred networks, click your wireless network, and then click Properties.

    5. Click on the Authentication tab, click to clear the authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network check box and then click OK twice.

If the problem persists, use method 3.

    Method 3:

Follow the steps in the Microsoft help articles below:

Why can't I connect to the Internet?

  • iPhone does not connect to EA6500 2.4 GHz

I put it up as Capri (2.4 GHz) and CapriHD (5 GHz). CapriHD has been provided only for HD video traffic. IPhone 4S my wife can only use 2.4 GHz, and he left suddenly after 1-2 months of use. My iphone 5 may use either the band and it can connect only on 5 GHz.  This problem COULD correspond to the recent update of the firmware?  So I traveled a lot around this time can not be sure that it is a culprit.

Really thought that the problem was the material, so I replaced it with a new EA6500 and get the same result.

I suspect that the problem could be environmental. Maybe the neighbor something interfering, but I don't you assignment of channel info as we did in the past with older routers, so don't know how to go about trying other things here.

I found that, by limiting the width and assigning hard channel 11 that our iPhones can now connect 2.4 GHz.  Apparently, something installed neighbors again, and the function of channel AUTO assign the router cannot resolve this conflict.

  • Wireless LAN card Intel 2200 does not connect

    Hello

    I just bought an Intel Pro/series 2200 b/g.

I installed the driver, and it detects the wireless network, but does not connect.

I used the Intel and Toshiba drivers, but to no avail. My old card, the 2100 works fine.

    Can anyone help?

    Best regards

    George

    Hello George

You cannot use Toshiba or Atheros driver for the Intel wireless adapter. This is known issue and I found an interesting topic about it.

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=4451

I put t know what model of phone you are using, but it's obviously Intel and a 2200 wireless card problem.

  • Intel WiDi does not connect

I have a dual boot Windows 7 laptop with Intel WiDi 8/Windows installed under the two BONES.  The WiDi works very well by putting with a Belkin Screencast on the Windows 7 operating system.  It does not connect (scanning does not detect the Belkin) on the Windows 8 operating system.  I've updated the Windows 8 and Windows 7 WiDi such installation as recommended by Intel

    As of December 4, 2013:

Thank you, Mr. Intel. As of today the Belkin Screencast is finally back up and running with the new driver Intel Centrino Advanced N-6235 8.1 Windows located on the Intel web site. Beware if you need to update manually from the web site that you choose the suitable driver for your version of Windows 8.1, i.e., either 32-bit or 64-bit (although if you choose the wrong, I do not think that it will allow you to install it, so you'll be sure).

You must also remove the first device to 'TV' that appear in the Windows printers and devices.

Connection is through the Windows 8.1 "Charms" bar, choose «Belkin Screencast»

Good luck. I think that others are still not successful, but for me - it works really well.

  • HP Pavilion dv7 - 3188cl: HP Pavilion does not connect to Internet (resolved)

I recently got a HP Pavillion Entertainment, model number dv7 - 3188cl, for me to use for a class at the school by my uncle. Before the recovery, everything worked perfectly well. My uncle asked me to reset the computer, so we used the recovery disks that wiped the hard drive successfully but then refuses to reinstall the operating system. Instead of getting another set of recovery disks that I've used a Windows 7 install disc to reinstall the OS and he did so successfully with one flaw, the laptop does not connect to the internet.

I tried to connect via ethernet and it does not find my WiFi network. I suspect his lack a driver and checked for drivers on the HP site but he said that there is none. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if there is no driver for this I would be grateful if you could tell me where to download from.

    Thanks in advance.

Update: after some search Intel had the good driver needed.

  • Z580 does not connect to the Internet at the beginning

I recently bought a laptop Lenovo Z580, I'm running Windows 7 on it, and the problem it is that it does not connect to the Internet initially once I start my computer, although I will be connected to the LAN. When I try to diagnose the problem, I get the error message below.

"Your computer seems to be configured correctly, but the device or resource (DNS server) does not.

If I run the diagnostic tool for a couple of times, the problem is resolved automatically (and not by the Diagnostic tool). This problem does not occur with my friends that connect to the same network.

  • I've set up another configuration of TCP/IP, but it does not connect. I need to access the 3 different machine networks. Any ideas?

I've set up another configuration of TCP/IP, but it does not connect. I need to access the 3 different machine networks. Any ideas?

    original title: alternate tcp/ip

If by "alternate TCP/IP configuration" you mean the settings on this screen--> http://tinyurl.com/42kbqqz, then, to quote Inigo Montoya, "you keep using that Word. I don't think it means what you think it means. »

The 'alternative' configuration settings tab, if you select "IP address private auto" (APIPA) or "specified user" is only used IF "obtain an IP address automatically" is set on the tab 'General' (http://tinyurl.com/8p9hn) AND the adapter cannot get an IP from a DHCP server.

Most cable networks use a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses.  In this case, just plug your Ethernet cable and you're automatically configured and connected.

If the problem is that your network requires a static IP address (that is, they use a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses), you will need a third-party network settings manager.  If you have an IBM (Lenovo) ThinkPad, you can use "Dial-up connections." IBM Otherwise, see this Google search (I have no experience with any of the applications shown, so I can't comment about them): http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&source=hp&q=network+configuration+switcher&pbx=1&oq=network+configuration+switcher&aq=f&aqi=g-v5&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=23l1333l1l1599l12l8l0l0l0l5l278l1344l0.7.1l8l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=74e371c96a48f4b&biw=1024&bih=649

  • Atheros AR9285 in CQ61-410US wireless network card does not connect to the Internet after the update of the adapter driver

I have a Compaq Presario CQ61-410US (WA974UA) which is equipped with an Atheros AR9285 B/G/N wireless network adapter.   The laptop Internet access was fast and stable when using a Wi - Fi N.   Its pilot AR9285 was the initial version of the 8.0.0.172 factory.  But because there were so many subsequent driver updates, I've updated the display driver version from the support page 8.9.9.316 (sp48755.exe).  However, after updating the driver, I immediately lost Internet access.   The laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 and 64-bit.

The driver seems to be installed OK, but it does not connect to the Internet.  Here is the status of the driver: 1) in Device Manager it appears OK and is presented as working properly.  (2) in the results of IPCONFIG/all, it there is no entry for the wireless adapter and without IP addresses are affected.  Here are the results of the IPCONFIG/all command:

    (3) Trying to Connect through connections network does not a list of known available networks and instead says "not connected - no connection is available."

I have read several messages from the HP Forum and tried a lot of things, including the installation of various updates driver later thanks to the version 10.0.0.222, but I still can't the driver to connect to the Internet.  I also changed my router "n" has only B/G as the AR9285 pilot has a history of problems with Wireless N.  Even back to the original driver version 8.0.0.172 provides an Internet connection.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello:

I'm glad that you were able to restore your internet connection.

I'd go with the latest driver HP vice one from another source.

The only time wherever I go outside HP for wireless network drivers is if you have an Intel wireless card.

My recommendation is to use the free MS Security Essentials antivirus/antispyware, which never interfere with how "things important works" on your PC, such as network connections.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=5201

Your router with a hardware firewall and a software firewall Windows. I don't see the importance of adding other firewalls.

Unless you have a lot of albums secret info on your PC that pirates would like to get my hands on, these fully functional security roadblocks are adequate for most of us.

  • T61 does not connect to the network through a station

I have a T61hat all of a sudden this week the network connection has stopped working when I am connected through my docking station. If I remove and plug the network cable into the T61 it immediately connects, but when I first connected it does not connect. It was working fine earlier this week. I was reading some email in Outlook and suddenly realized that I had lost my network connection. I tried to run the utility Lenovo system update and the updates of Windows and I'm perfectly up-to-date. A virus scan that found nothing. I tried to uninstall the driver of my network and then restart and allowing PnP to reinstall. None of this has worked. Also, I have a partner who has also a T61 with a docking station. I plugged my laptop on my own and got the same results, so this isn't a hardware problem with the docking station itself.

Our technicians of equipment replaced the motherboard in my T61 and that seems to have solved my problem. Haven't seen the network problem in a week now.

    Hi Kalyan,

From my research, this error message indicates that you have an old version of Samsung drivers installed on the computer.

Several clients are faced with this question after that they have updated the version of Android to 4.3, but the version of the driver is not updated.

I suggest you uninstall all traces of Samsung is installed in the list programs and then reinstall the device drivers Samsung from the link provided in the previous post.

To uninstall a program see the link below.

    Uninstall or change a program

Once you uninstall programs related to Samsung download and install the drivers for Samsung devices.

  • HP HPE 180 t does not connect to the Internet at startup

Hoping someone can help, I had 1 cat and 3 service calls to HP with no luck.  It's a whole new HPE 180 t, 12 GB of RAM, HD 10 000 rpm option, GTX 260 card, etc.  It has Intel 82567V-2 Gigabit controller.  I use a Linksys WRT400N router and a new cable modem of Motorola SB6120.

On the day of arrival only, HP had problems to connect to internet at startup or wakeup.  No doubt connects 1 on each tent 5-6.  I tried everything - reset the cable modem, router, release and renew the IP address, download the new drivers from Intel, etc.

Very frustrating - and the thing is, I know that the network is working, because my old Dell 8400 is sitting here and it connects every time. It is connected to the same router, as does my laptop Dell 1545, no connection problems at all.

HP support was not able to help.  So I have a brand new computer that does not connect to the internet 95% of the time.  Any ideas would be appreciated... THX.

OK sports fans, keep your fingers crossed.  Come back from Wal-Mart, where I bought a router Netgear WGR614v10 to yestertech on sale for $34.98.  Came home, installed and everything works!  HP connects instantly connects Dell computer Dell laptop connects, works of modem cable Motorola...

Tried everything on, off tension, different combinations of reboots, etc., in order to give it the toture test and hit the wood, everything works fine.

Then, the last Linksys WRT400N router apparenly, which isn't on the list of recommended routers Comcast, will not work with this computer.  Now that I did a few Google searches on this subject, I find others who say the same thing.  I called an old friend of mine who is a type of network with the Federales and he said, what Comcast told him specifically NOT to use the router WRT400N Comcast internet service.  So go figure...

I hope that this case is closed, and thanks for the help and suggestions of everyone and stick with me on this.  I hope that this thread will help others.  The largest that I can give to others is to ensure that you ask your ISP first to see if they have a list of recommended hardware!  Ciao...
