EA7500 capping wireless ~ 40Mbps

I 220Mbps towards the low 20 TWC Maxx Internet. I get every bit of that on my wired devices. My wireless devices all the course between 30 and 40Mbps down (they all get up 20Mbps). I have two laptop computers with N Wireless and two tablets of fire on the 2.4 ghz band and an IPad2 Roku TV and fire TV Stick on the 5 GHz band. No device not less than "N" connect. I have the 2.4 band located on the band of 20 Mhz. 5 WPA2, A/N, N only-personal WPA2 only and 40 Mhz I have experiemented with all settings and channels and can not get the downloaded wireless devices more quickly than 40Mbps. They all work fine and keeping strong connections. I can't get faster speeds.

Any ideas?

2.4 GHz devices are likely only a single band radio N maxed out at 72Mbps. So a download speed of 40-35 Mbps is probably correct for these devices in the real world speed test.

The upload speed is perfect every time to settle at 21-23. It is wired btw. Download caps, 38-40mbps speed. Hello

Unfortunately no, well Yes, but it will cost pile because you have to change the circuit board (motherboard) which can cost up to 75% of the price of the machine now, plus the cost of installation.

Update: Other options is to use USB adapters, but they are not cheap.

    Kind regards.

Hello people - someone has an idea wha it is combat?

I can't find a similar problem anywhere. The led for wireless works sometimes not - so I have to go to network connection and turn Cap wireless manually. -It lights not light but allows me to access the internet.
This happens for a few weeks and then all rights itself for a few weeks.
    Then it happens again.

    Hello

Do you mean this happens sometimes, but in most cases, you can activate the WLan correctly?

First to activate the WLan, you must move the antenna switch WLan on WE (don't forget that it was operated correctly to the right) and you I use the FN + F8 key combination.
This allows in general the WLan.

I don't know why the WLan antenna switch is not working it is perhaps sometimes s a hardware problem; m e.g. loose connection or the switch was not moved properly who knows
It might be a good idea to ask a technician for a verification of switch WLan...

  • DV7-4177nr: HP laptop dv7-4177nr Caps Lock flashing solid button wireless

This HP laptop was not start correctly. After some research, I came up on top of the problem LED blink/beep codes and was hoping to use this page.

The problem is, on my laptop, the Verr Maj light constantly blinks and doesn't stop, unlike on the problem page code where it says he should stop to give me an idea of what the problem is.

In addition, the LED light on the wireless key is a solid red color. After several attempts, I can't find anything about a flashing infinite caps lock and a solid red light.

I tried the hard reset, when I remove the battery and the AC adapter and press and hold the power button for a long period of time. I have also reinstalled the RAM sticks. I even took the CMOS battery and replaced.

If possible, would be just a system board/motheboard failure? I heard that if I take on the RAM and try to turn on/off the unit, the unit should beep at me because it does not recognize the RAM, but in my case, it is not a sound signal.

    Any other ideas?

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that your HP Pavilion dv7-4177nr is not start properly and you have tried various troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

  • DELL INSPIRON 2320 - Natural Wireless Laser Keyboard 7000 - default value is | Caps lock | WE (turned on) in all fields of password

    Hi y ' All

DELL INSPIRON 2320 - Natural Wireless Laser Keyboard 7000 - default is Caps Lock ON (active) only when the cursor is in a field of password.

The game of keyboard mouse 7000 is great.

However, when the cursor is in any field/bos where a password must came me in, CapLock default value (setting) is ON or activated.

    • This only happens only in a field/area requiring a password to enter... but it happens each unique time, any application or what connection Web site password field I can be located anywhere on the Internet.
    • Again, this is only a problem when the cursor is in a password field.
    • This (setting) can be reversed that, when the cursor is in an area of password, default (setting) will be | Caps Lock |  STOP =?

In the BIOS settings, I only find a selection of NumLock setting.  In Centre of keyboard and Microsoft mouse, the only setting that I can locate offers the choice to enable or disable the use of the Caps Lock key... entirely.  So, when turned on, the default value is lock shift = WE only in a password box.  Know, I is not no accidentally redundant; I repeat this case specific to the question in order to stress that this is the only time only this question.

Like most people, I have to enter the password often. This problem occurs if the "remember me" or "keep me logged in" is selected.

    It's much more irritating.

Thank you for your considerations and possible solutions, if any.

    Hi lele17,

    Hello SuperMario1,

    Thanks for your reply.

The last thing I did, remove the CMOS battery and after a few minutes I plugged it.

Then plug in the power adapter and press the power button / stop.
Laptop starts but gives an error message

'The CMOS checksum is not valid, the BIOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted.'

Finally, laptop starts normally. It works very well...

But same problem when I restart

"Caps lock shift white blink screen 2 times all 3/4 sec.

    So finally

1 remove the CMOS battery and after a few minutes I plugged it again

    2. connect the power adapter and press the power button / stop

    3. laptop starts normally (with one identical to the previous error msg)

    4. upgrade the bios to F.29 (previously I had F.24)

5 Everythings works very well (start/stop have no effect)

    Hello bobarry,

I saw your post about problems with the phone on/off do not. If there is no model to the flashing light then there is nothing to indicate which causes the error. This is Service and Maintenance Guide for your model and starting on page 66, there are instructions for removal and replacement of the TouchPad. It might help to determine if there is a connection problem. If control connections does not help then you will have some take a look at the laptop. You can reach HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or Start here if you live outside of North America.

  • OfficeJet 6480 problem w fax setup, will not pass through wireless phone

    OfficeJet 6480.

I took 20 minutes on the phone to find someone to get me to tell them what the problem is.

the first speaker gave me a ticket #8018531464

and passed me on the real tech support (I think).

Finally, I asked if I could please tell him what my problem.

He said yes and asked if f I have the black cord that comes with it.

I said 'yes' and he pulled the plug (1 line) on the 6480.

    He hung up on me!

hahaha, nope, the wwas cord connecting the cable-modem (TimeWarner) jack to the panasonic cordless phone.

in any case, I wasn't going to go through the introduction of 20 min. again, only to find out if he could answer the question.

    So here it is.

When I connect the black cable supplied with (for a single line I think) telephone jack of the cable modem (they provide my dgital phone, internet and Cable only ESA, no data dedicated line because I have to go through a flurry of faxes from time to time at home.)

then the decision-making ext 2 'lines' on the 6480, another cord goes to the single input based on the receiver of the wireless phone.

This is the problem, no tone came thru.

so, in this loop, I inserted the small adapter, single-jac + cord short. the output of the 6480.

and plugges regular there cord to the cradle of the wireless.

I had a tone. It seemed to work so far. So I went to bed, feeling successful, to continue to ensure that I had

useful with my 6480 fax equipment.

However the next day it did not get a dial tone on the phone.

I tried different combinations and then abandoned once more imn frustration.

I tried to get this thing to work for a few months now.

Once I had the parts of the loop of any kitchen. someone should sent the fax and the 6480 a o ring...

    ringtone and ringtone.

He hgave been other variants of this scenario which have brought to the point of frustration, I said why bother, I'll do it at work.

and not being able to devote a lot of time and energy with this easy start home.

now since I've been laid off, I shortly and more neceessitty to fix this problem.

I think that the signal gets to the 6480, because I run the test and all passses. There is no test for what I am referrring to and none combined on the 6480.

I went into the details for several reasons,

I can omit something: oh, Yes, the router is a lynksys router.

There is a nearby office using the wireless router and a laptop computer in the other room.

plus, you get a little history, to learn something on me, as you go through the same routine that I do with technical support. HP is not the only culprit of this approach non-customer ceneterd. But even that does not make this right.

I suggest, if some listen to those interested. This customer centered woould be to first know of me what is my problem, while you may, or may not, to solve. Then, you can collect the serial number, etc..

In addition, since you ask the serial number, I would like, as a customer, with that number clearly presented in a convenient place, say in my opinion as I llook at the machine.

Yes, I know, its probably on the back, probably there insert n close the caps. no doubt.

I hope to hear from anyone. Thank you.

Here is the document on the implementation for different kinds of digital lines (think VOIP is not listed) that could work however, the fax modules used in probably all HP AIO are for analogue telephone lines only (the kind of Ma Bell telephone lines that have nothing to do with computers).  So, you could be just out of luck unless you want to pay for another standard analog line in your home for the fax.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but makes no sense you need to beat your head in frustration on something that is not likely to ever work.  Oh and another thing - make absolutely sure that the telephone line is connected to the fax to send/receive is the one supplied with the printer, they are not your average phone cords that come with phones or you can pick up at the local super store.
