Ear Pods with iPod G5

Hello guys.

I was wondering if there is a way I can update my iPod so it can use the buttons on the pods of my ear. The model number is

  • A1136: 2006-09

If there is no way, I can deal with it. If there is a way, that would be great.

Thank you.

Hi, cutlercollin99!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I understand from your post, you want to know if the controls on the Apple EarPods are compatible with your model of iPod. I listen to music on the go all the time and know these controls can be practical! The article below the link should help answer that question.

Compatibility of wired Apple models of headphones with the models of iPod, iPhone and iPad

In the 'iPod' section, there are four separate tables, each pertaining to a different model of Apple headphones. Go to the table for the helmet that you have and find your model of iPod. A check mark will be in a box for each component supported. You will also see if other requirements, for example a specific operating system version, are needed to support these features.

Good listening!

  • Satellio Pro A60: serious problems with ipod photo

I bought an ipod photo (60 GB) and could not use it on my laptop Satellio Pro A60. I have spent hours on the phone with tech support at Apple guys and went to their Apple in London Centre, twice, the last time with my laptop - they still could not make it work.

They blame it on the BIOS and hardware not being is not fast enough to write to their hard drive Toshiba. I tried USB 2.0, firewire, etc., but nothing works. Apple support suggested that I get the latest update of the Toshiba BIOS, but the BIOS for this model was last updated was released on 2 September 2003.

Can anyone help to get my ipod to work? PLEASE?

    Hello

I n t have experience with iPod but I can recommend you to check the BIOS settings. There must be an option called configuration of the device. Please configure the OS game. I found a support interesting page where is mentioned that iTunes 4.7 or later version is required to use the picture of the iPod.

    Check it on http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tutorial/ip_gettingstarted_t9.html

  • I want to listen to music from Mac, but do not want to sync with iPod

    Well met!

I'm syncing music automatically. I understand, that if I don't want to synchronize a special playlist for iPod - I need to uncheck all the playlist manually Flickr photos.
But if I uncheck - I can not hear through all the playlist normally from my Mac - securities become gray and after the end of my selected track playlist do not play the next track.

    How to solve this problem?

    Tiserly,

Trying to manage with checkmarks will be frustrating.  Instead, use the synchronization feature of the 'playlists selected, artists, albums and genres."

The choice displayed when iPod is connected.  Check them as you like and then let the automatic synchronization.  It will remember your choice for future synchronizations, and you can change them at any time.

  • Problem syncing with iPod Nano

I have an iPod nano 3rd generation. He stopped properly syncing with iTunes. I have the latest version of ITunes and Windows 10. It is always synchronized automatically before. The computer recognizes the iPod and it's synchronization on iPod, but not on the computer screen. None of the songs I bought on iTunes since it began have been added to my iPod. I also noticed that new Playlists, I added to iTunes also syncs.  Maybe it's the same cause.  I appreciate your help. I'm nervous about what he is going to erase my iPod and then Resync.  I don't want to end up with nothing on my iPod!  I spent hours trying to understand, without a bit of luck. Thanks a lot for your help!

One thing to check is the parameter to sync music on settings of music from the iPod screen.  Here is a screenshot showing the screen.

Perhaps the box sync music got disabled for some reason any.  If it is not checked, the iPod is currently set to manually manage the music.  It will always 'sync' when it is connected, but the content does not sync automatically. However, existing content on the iPod.

NOTE: If you change this setting (and apply) Sync music is currently not checked, all the songs on the iPod that are not in your iTunes library will be lost.

  • Bluetooth speaker no connection with iPod 5th generation

Once solve you one problem, another pops up...

A little more than a week ago, I bought an iHome iBT3, which is a protected against splashing, triangular-shaped speaker. It has bluetooth, which I used about three times now and it was working fine until today.

The other day I had a problem with my iPod which translates into me trying the three methods; force reset, recovery of the device and reset all default settings. Although I have fixed my previous issue, when I tried to connect my speakers today, connected devices emerged as two things that I had never seen before. I chose the setting for iPod to 'forget' the devices and tried to connect my speakers.

I watched for 15 minutes. The speaker tried to connect and connect and connect the iPod has tried to find the device, and they never linked between them; my iHome does not appear on my iPod and my iPod never read that there is a device in the region.

I tried to force the delivery twice, the iPod and it has nothing and if it should happen again, I really, really don't like to restore my iPod because it took me two days and multiple handfuls of hair to do such a thing.

Can I do to get my two devices to connect with each other?

    Thank you in advance.

Update: The speaker is not connecting to my or my sister iPods.

My father has a similar Bluetooth speaker if and which connects both of the devices.

  • Airport Express works with iPod Hifi?

I have iPod Hifi and I would like to buy Airport Express to make them wireless and play the songs of Mac and iPhone. Would this work? What else do I need? Also the wifi extending functionality would work fine too?

    Thank you for your time.

The iPod Hi-Fi is not a loan AirPlay device. However, it has a 3.5 mm analog/digital audio input port that can be connected to an AirPort Express Terminal for reading iTunes stream from either the Mac or iPhone.

Note: Both the Express and the iPod Hi-Fi built in DAC to convert to digital-to-analog audio sources.

With respect to the extension of Wifi, the wireless router to be extended with the Express should be another Apple product: Express Extreme and Time Capsule.

  • ITunes, create playlists in doubles when syncing with iPod

iTunes has started to create playlists duplicates when I sync with my iPod Touch 5th generation and does not sync songs to the iPod.

What can I do on this issue. I tried to reset the iPod, but this does not seem to make a difference. I'm absolutely sick of remove duplicate playlists.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Vivien

The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

  • Songs aside with iPod touch (6th generation)

I got the iPod Classic for all my music has died. I replaced it with an iPod Touch (6th generation), but it seems that I lost the ability to evaluate my songs they play (used to be able to click on the middle button a few times and use the scroll wheel). I have created custom smart playlists based on the song ratings and if I have to be at my computer to write down all my songs, he would take my forever and probably never did. I see the 6th generation iPod allows you to songs favourites (with a heart), but now I'm wondering if it is transferred to ITunes somehow. I am not even of the ratings of my songs displayed when iPod touch play. Is the ability to rate on the fly songs a way of the past?

I discovered how do. During playback of a particular song, type the name of the track and the ranking is displayed.

  • Time advised to work with iPod shuffle

Hello. How many hours it is advisable to use my iPod shuffle on a daily basis to extend the life of it? I appreciate your suggestions.

There is no specific amount of hours per day, you must or must not use your iPod. Use it when you want to load when she needs. Try to avoid leaving to drain completely. Don't leave in cars. You cannot extend battery life beyond the ability he has.
