Earphones or headphones

I was using the earbuds that come with the Clip + and was disappointed that even at the highest setting (and with an equal level up), I could barely hear my music.  Today, I tried to use the regular helmet and was surprised to see the difference.  Not only is the high volume of satisfactorily, but the sound quality itself was much better.  I expect an improvement, but not that much of an improvement.

Others have similar experiences?  The brand of headphones makes much difference?

Earbuds are very different, from pair to pair - as with headphones.  Also, with headphones, it is imperative to get a good fit and a seal - otherwise, the base can be non-existent.  I suspect this is the question you had.  For this reason, many headphones come with different size tips, to try to get the best adjustments.

Works very well if connected to a ThinkPad SL410.

Tried with two different sets of ThinkPad earphones and two of the various ThinkPad Edge laptops. Unfortunately, I bought my headphones over a month so there cannot send their return.

I was able to make them work if I plug it into a logitech usb connector.

  • My left earpod does not work with my iPhone 5s, can someone help me?

I bought my iPhone 5s in February 10. Last week my left EarPod does not work correctly. I can't send my entire the EarPods iPhone Warranty because I need him to work. Thank you for the support.

Try to test another pair of headphones with your iPhone to see if the problem is with the earphones or headphones.

Otherwise, try using the EarPods on another device, like a computer, etc..

If the problem is with the phone, I suggest to check for debris inside the headphone jack (don't push all objects in there).

If the problem is with the EarPods, download replace them. ( https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ )

    1. what operating system are you using on your computer?

2 were there any hardware or software changes made on the computer before this problem?

    3. in the new window click on the "Playback" tab and right-click in the window and click on Show disabled devices.
    4. now check if speakers are listed and then right-click on it and choose activate.
    5. turn highlighted that speakers and click on "as default'.»»

    Method 2

Check with the volume settings and if it helps:

    (a) right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select volume control options.
    (b) check on 'all devices evolving sound.
    (c) make sure that you have "disabled the default communication device".
    (d) place a check on the speakers and headphones.

I suggest you follow the link and check.

  • Audio output selection nightmare

I'm not the only one who hates the multiple options of selection of output in Windows XP.  And it may be the fault only of Windows.  I have 2 outputs: speakers and headphones.  Speakers USB, headset detaches the built-in sound on the motherboard.  You would think it would be easy to spend in Control Panel, sounds.  But none.  Its a nightmare.  To get my browser to be aware of the difference, I almost have to restart the computer.  Is it possible to force all programs to see that I made a new selection?  Some programs have their own audio selection options (bless!), but most don't.  And of course browsers never seem to.  I use Opera and Firefox.  I just want to be able to force my selection or push my selection on all programs at the same time instantly.  Instead of having to close them and restart each of them.

The only alternative is to buy a box and not use USB at all.  It's amazing that this problem has not been addressed.  Keyboards should have audio switches built on them, or at least the monitor.  So many people use the headphones, earphones or headphones so that their speakers.

In addition, what is wave?  Why have we not more than 1 volume control?  With the volume in the program (like saying VLC player) we have now 3 volume controls.  Is - this stupid or what?  To make it even more stupid, Microsoft chose to no information in help on the airwaves.  IDIOTS!  This is so typical of this company.  The WORST 'Help' in existence.  No one could be this bad by accident.  It must be intentional.  Why?  To keep the public in the dark?  Don't they just not care?  How many times do we register an error code in help have no results?  Its THEIR error code?  But there is nothing in the help.  Awesome!

    ---------------UPDATE-----------------
For those who need more flexible sound options, I just found out that you can pass the audio device outputs without closing the program that uses in Win7.  It was a nice touch, Microsoft.  Not too fast of course like a hardware switch but an improvement over XP in this area.

I think in the future I'll politely ask people to send links to something else than to Microsoft stuff.  They are completely unnecessary.

The links you sent even do not start to solve my problems.  Play well!  Thanks for the effort.

Tip: Start with non-Microsoft links.  Before that, read the question.

A box is the answer.  An audio output possible (because anything more complex that this is just too much for the Window operating system - I don't know that apple is just as bad), get into a box with multiple outputs 3.5 mm with or without a volume control. This will work.  They are about $30 on Ebay, but probably made with pieces of garbage.  The answer is to do it yourself the assurance of the quality of the parts, because there are a lot of mechanical action going on here.  And we know that factories in China is kind of skimp on quality when it comes to friction in the movement of pieces.

But it would be nice if you could choose just and the system would obey.  Good luck.  The answer is to remove the choice and do it yourself.  A bit like how Apple sells their simplicity: just remove choices!  Laughing out loud!  Good enough for the average, credulous lemming there.  The last thing that just need a retailer is an informed customer.

  • Newbie question speaker compatibility

How will I know what speakers are compatible with the Sansa fuze? I keep reading on a connection 'owner' and I'm afraid I'll buy something that does not.

When reading abt different speakers, some say they are compatible with the c or e or m series but never mention of detonators so I'm leary.

Thank you in advance for your help!

There are speakers who are... to intervene. The engine (battery or AC adapter) ones are just "amplified." Like the ones you can buy for your computer. most is amplified because your computer wakes such a weak signal that you cannot hear them otherwise.

And don't forget, your rocket comes out only on 60 MW. Enough for earphones or headphones small, but it is not designed to power something bigger. Most of the small speakers 'unpowered' go its bad enough with this tiny signal from the headphone jack.

I would get a pair 'sold' to the computer add-on speakers. They have even some with boxes! It will be powered (usually AC) & its pretty good probaby. The batteries also an excellent sound, but they are a pain because you have to remember to turn them off, or power is drained and the next time you want to use them, they will be dead, so you do wrong around for more C battteries. It can get expensive unless you use rechargeable batteries, and then remember to recharge

  • The two blackBerry Smartphones, Slacker Radio and Pandora do not work

OK, so a few days ago I was listening to the music of the Slacker Radio App and everything worked but there was absolutely no noise, so I just let go and used the music on my SD card. When I got home I restarted Slacker and there was still no sound, so I went to www.slacker.com and I found their support customer and I spoke with one of the people who work at the lazy and he had me do a battery pull - still no sound. then I uninstalled lazy and rebooted my storm and when it did reboot I reinstalled slacker - still no sound. then he had me send some logs of the Slacker app to see what they could find, and I still nothing back.

So today, I decided to try Pandora radio and there is just no music when he has to play. I'm completely out of ideas, I know that's not the speaker because the storm music player works perfectly

Okay, stupid question... on the device, you use the phone's speaker, or the speaker (by ear).

If one does not work, try the other.

Try to connect your earphone or headphone?

  • Aspire One speaker/headphone - no sound when the earphone plug unless the defect of the device is reset

If the speakers are enabled when you connect headphones, headphone does not work unless I go into the control panel playback settings and change the headphones 'by default'.  Then to return to the speakers when headphones are removed, the procedure is reversed to set the speakers 'by default'.  in the Panel of reading the speaker shows option 'speak' not the typical ' speaker/headset '.  The option for headset is "helmet" that is correct.

Is it true that the desired device should be selected by default every time?  I find it odd and very annoying.  In general the speaker option would show two 'speaker/headset' so that when plugged in or unplugged the headset you can go back between the speakers and the headphones.  In this situation with just listed "speakers" is not possible.  Anyone else having this problem.

Once chosen as a default value, each device is functioning.  With the help of Windows 10.  Everything else seems ok.

have you tried to uninstall your audio device from Device Manager and reboot? I know its sounds counter productive, but often, when you uninstall something, then the system recognizes that you have a device installed, it re - installs the default drivers of factorty for device of theat and Voila! It works somehow. A little nutty in how I have described, but try it, simply right click on your audio device from the Device Manager and select uninstall, it will give you a window with something like "You are about to uninstall Yada, Yada Yasda" but follow through, then restart. I have fixed this way before from udio. Don't forget to restart.

  • Headphone issues and options grayed out reading preferences

The basic problem is that when I play music via iTunes, if I plug my headphones, it covers only playback through the computer speakers, not headphones.
If I closed iTunes, plug in the earphones, THEN restart iTunes and play music, it will come through the headphones, but if I unplug, it is paused and not restart, even if I plug the headphones insert it again.
Although I can change speakers headphones by stopping iTunes and restarting, I'm often trailing long playlists, it is not practical to do so.
Other advice, it seems that I have to change the "audio playback" setting using "Session of Windows Audio' 'Direct Sound', or something similar, HOWEVER, when I go in Edition > Preferences > reading, the box is grayed out, and I can't change it.

Any advice on how I can do so I can change the option, or any other fixes for the problem of helmet? Thank you very much

  • Use a headphone with iPad 2

I would like to comment on what headphones to use with my ipad2. Do I need a particular size? And it better with the help of the plug or go with bluetooth?

Personally, as a musician and a person who appreciates a quality sound, I will return with a headset or headphones that plug in an iPhone or an iPad.

The sound quality is more real, more accurate.

Most average price speakers Bluetooth headset/headphones and wireless lose quality in the bass and treble of the higher regions.

Only the more expensive ($250.00 and upward) Bluetooth headphones/headset wireless and more expensive Bluetooth speaker systems will be the technology that compensates for the loss of bass/treble on a Bluetooth signal.

Lower prices Bluetooth speakers, headphones / earbuds simply don't have all this bulit technology in them so that they can sell at much lower prices.

If the budget is concerned, wired headset comes in many points of setting prices, but even some headphones/wired earphone at a lower cost price will be superior in sound quality at cheaper, wireless Bluetooth offers currently on the market.

My vote is for headphones/wired headset.

    Good luck!

  • IPod classic 5th generation has no audio headphones.

IPod classic 5th generation has no audio headphones, but it can play songs via computer, when connected to the computer. IPod recognizes when earphones are plugged and hold when deployed switch. Is the likely problem the headphone jack or a material issue of motherboard. I could try a correction to the earphone Jack, but a motherboard problem is a totally different animal. Would appreciate some advice from someone who had had the same problem and solved the problem.

I guess you've proven the headset with another device. Y at - it no suspicion of audio if you push the plug in one way or another? Who could confirm that it is just the plug that is damaged rather than anything else. The taken switch headphone jack Assembly is relatively cheap. I've done several outings permutation of these two classic battery of 5th and 6th gen. The hardest part is the case open but there are guides online that explain the steps.
