  I use "Bandwidthsplitter" addon for ISA Server 2004 (Enterprise Edition) for shaping traffic and quota control. I have a serious problem with it. This addon does not take into account the ssl traffic user, and I need to restart the Microsoft ISA Server priodically Control Service or allow the users to be connected via ssl until they themselves kill their session.

  Is there a way to bypass it through some Adobe Acrobat settings? Maybe a way to get Acrobat 'trust' of the site?

  Technical issues do not belong in the forum Feedback response so I moved your post to the WIndows XP "Netwoking and online" Outlook Express forum where questions are handled.

  Outlook and Outlook Express are completely different products and are not related except for the names.

  The problem you describe product generally when you have not defined thte option to authenticate your outgoing SMTP server.  If you click on tools > accounts, select your account, then click Properties, you should see a Servers tab.  This tab is a check box labeled "my server requires authentication".  Check it out.  Then check the settings button to the right.  You'll see two radio buttons.  From the top, labeled 'Use same settings as my mail server outgoing' is generally the right to choose.

• First time with SSL - teething problems

  I have a new site and I decided to use the SSL - just very basic flavor.

  I use flickr images and giving me the problem of popup in Internet Explorer by telling the user that there are secure and nonsecure items.

  So now I think that maybe I should use the https:// on some of my pages to get the cycle which is but this flying object?  Or I guess, not to use Flickr.  Yet, on a bloggy kind of site, which wants to say that the content won't get pulled in from other sources not secure?

  (The reason why I chose to go with SSL is because one) it is a site Wordpress, b) is a directory of companies set up where I'll be storing details of the company (but not charge for registration at this point and c) I wanted to learn more about SSL.

  If anyone knows a decent tutorial SSL fo that has not been written for programmers, I'd love to have a look at this.  Most of the things I've come across is either sales preamble location or you need to be a scientist to understand.

  Your absolute links to external sites should all use https protocol.  Try it and see if that helps.

  After having recently upgraded to macOS Sierra, I am unable to read my mail.

  I get the following error every time I check on "Get Mail".

  I see your message that you get an error in the mail indicating that there is a problem with the mail server or the network.  To help get this problem resolved, I suggest that you follow the steps below:
  

  If mail refers to a problem with the mail server, or the network

  Mail will say that it is impossible to connect due to a problem with the mail server or the network. For example, the message may refer to a connection that has expired, or too many simultaneous connections:

  

  If you are connected to the Internet, but the connection has expired, your email provider might be affected by a discontinuance of service. Contact them or see their status Web page to ensure that their e-mail service is online. Examples of status pages:

  • iCloud mail status
  • Gmail status
  • Status of Yahoo mail
  • Status of the AOL mail
  • Status of Outlook e-mail

  If the message indicates the number of simultaneous connections, too many of your devices is check your e-mail account at the same time. Quit Mail on one or more of your other devices.

  If you are still unable to send or receive e-mails

  1. Make sure that you have installed latest version of the Mac software updates, especially if the problem occurred immediately after the installation of a previous update.

• Problems with outgoing mail / STMP server after has worked for a LONG time...

  Recently I started having trouble with sending an outgoing message. Beyond out lickety split with no problem. Now, once I click on SEND, I get window to send the Message reading "status: connected to stmp.primus.ca...» "but the progress bar continues just to go and go and... rather than a telling me the message has been sent."

  Sometimes the email finally gets sent, after taking in "shipping time E-mail" what's FOREVER, sometimes by that email is not to all and I get the message "send message failed. The message could not be sent using SMTP server smtp.primus.ca for some unknown reason. Check your SMTP server settings are correct and try again or contact your network administrator. »

  I looked in my SMTP settings and noticed that, in aid of Primus, he said the outgoing server port is 465 while mine has been implemented (and worked for ever) 25. I have also noticed that help Primus said connectivity should be set to SSL/TLS, while that mine has been set (and has worked forever) to zero. I made these changes (first simply by changing the port #, then both) but this does not solve the problem.

  I've recently updated Thunderbird to 31.7.0 and I think that these questions CAN coincide with this update, but I am not sure of the time. If this is the case, is it possible that I could get back to the old version of Thunderbird... or move in this way another? ID of the update was not the questions, someone has an idea or an idea on why this would suddenly be a problem with Thunderbird?

  Or should I contact Primus technical support and try to sort it out with them?

  Your anti virus got an update. We get a rash of these every time updates to Thunderbird. The cause is always an anti virus program. usually, Norton or Alvira, but they all get a mention.

• Problems with HTTPS access site after upgrading to FireFox 30.0

  I have problems to access our HTTPS Corporate sites after upgrade to FireFox 30.0 of the Mavericks MAC or receive an error message "user not authorized" or the page does not load. I was able to access Web sites mentioned above when you use 29,0 FF. I have read and tried all the items on support to clear the cache and cookies, remove and reinstall the software, trying to change the SSL level & remove the cert8.db and cookie files in the profile.

  Internal just to validate that it was not a problem with our Web site, I tried and was able to access these sites via Safari for MAC Mavericks. I'm looking for what anyone help possible.

  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar.
  Followed;

  Windows; Tools > Options
  Linux; Edit > Preferences
  Mac; name of the application > Preferences

  Then Advanced > network > content caching Web: clear now

  and

  • Delete Cookies

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar.
  Followed;

  Windows; Tools > Options
  Linux; Edit > Preferences
  Mac; name of the application > Preferences

  Then confidentiality.
  Under historical, select Firefox will use the custom settings.
  There is a button on the right side, called View the Cookies.

  If there is still a problem,
  Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
  While you are in safe mode;
  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar.
  Followed;

  Windows; Tools > Options
  Linux; Edit > Preferences
  Mac; name of the application > Preferences

  Then Advanced > General.
  Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

  Dig safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.

  The problem is that many companies use TLS or SSL security settings.

  There are ways around this problem.

  Edit: If you look at the block diagram, upward, there is a node to invoke.

  It's for "SMTP Client", and the element is "host".

• Problem with new incoming messages to my Windows Mail account

  Since 2-3 weeks, I've known more fault with new messages from my Inbox on Windows Mail.  I have the 1st message, but then the connection is interrupted and I get the following message: "your server has ended suddenly the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', server: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800CCC0F. "Error may occur when I log in to access new messages from the server, or when the mail comes while I was already connected.  The fault is intermittent: sometimes I can access mail normally again.  When I live the flaw, I close the Windows Mail error message, press the send/receive button and my incoming emails (including the 1st) is normally followed.  For the record, I'm not problems with outgoing mail.

  I would appreciate any ideas on what could be causing this fault and what remedial measures I could take.

  I have no first hand know how to do this in Norton that I would never use Norton. Very common with any security program which is mail scanning has never caused a problem, but there is an update and 'poof', there you go.

• Problems with Connector.open

  I'm having a problem with the re-login to a HttpsConnection once a failure has occurred. I send a message to a php site that works 100% OK. However, if I drop the receipt when sending at the reception is retrieved Connector.open no reconnect not (even after a long wait). and gives a "java.io.InterruptedIOException: connection Local has expired" exception.   Try to use the factory connections if you are targettin devices in 5.0 or above, it might solve the prob.
