Ease of access Center controlled by GPO

Hello

I work as IT supports on-site and we have some users who leave their mouse on their space bar which stops the computer locking after 5 minutes of inactivity, these users who might expose the computer unlocked and walk. I found that, within easy access, you can install "FilterKeys" what in there is an option to ignore harvest them shots, the setting must be set up per user and per computer. I am eager to apply this setting to a handful of computer, regardless of the user is connected, or have another solution that will prevent this.

Any help is appreciated

Jake

    Original title: I can't open the ease of access Center.

    Hello Brandon,.

    Please keep us updated on the State of the question, appreciate the time taken by you by providing all the details with persistence.

    Looks like the problem is more than just hidden items in Control Panel. Sometimes, this kind of unexpected behavior indicated by Windows because of some important system files missing or corrupt. I suggest you to rum Microsoft Safety Scanner SFC/scannow to analyse the integration of system and fix any corruption.

    The command sfc/scannow (System File Checker) analyses all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

    If the System File Checker does not help, we can try to create a new user profile (just for the purposes of diagnosis) with administrator privileges and check if the problem persists in the new user account as well.

    Please follow this link to create a new user account.

    Create a user account.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/create-user-account#create-user-account=Windows-7

    If the problem does not appear in the new user profile. It clearly indicates the corruption of the user profiles. In this case, follow the steps described in the article below to fix the damaged user profile.

    Fix a corrupted user profile.

  • No sound for the uppercase button power switch even when checked in Ease of Access Center

    Hi guys.  My computer is almost back to how it was before a major accident.

    One thing I've always loved and found it useful on several occasions, was to be able to hear a beep when the Caps Lock key (or the NumLock key) has been enabled (or disabled).  To configure the sound warning, I went to accessibility in the control panel and checked the ToggleKeys (then apply).

    But is not doing more.  Please, any suggestions?

    Thank you - KenM18

    Hi Ken,

    Some users may hear tones when they use their audio controller integrated; others can hear them only after you have installed a sound card. For some, the update or restore audio drivers solves the problem.

    There are several users who have solved the similar problem. I'll get you the link (see posts that are marked as answer) and check if it helps in your case.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    You have to press F10 or F11, Acer is normally Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

  • the control panel categories: hide unused and unwanted applets / sections (such as ease of access)

    I've been tweaking, shave all the garbage out of my w7x64Ultimate build.

    Finally, I have a build that respect group policies and hid successfully all the stuff I will never use.

    It's MS, however, so (as usual) there's a catch.

    Here are the applets unauthorized - http://i.imgur.com/qgJw4DO.png

    Here is my list pinned

    And the control panel never seemed more enjoyable...

    Great! So, what's the problem?

    Well, as applets, there are categories. The policy of 'hide applet' does not work for categories.

    Ease of access was left (with an entry - rec speech - which I use... yet) so I changed the category for rec speech, but the EaseOfAccess empty category even taunts me

    Anyone know how to remove?

    Sorry, it has not been designed to be removed.  The developer who wrote the programming did not include this capability.  You need get the source code and recompile the operating system manually.

    Hello ErikG_787,

    Have you checked for viruses or malware on your computer? Just remove any drive Windows should not give you this kind of symptoms.

    You can download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and run to search for viruses and malware. Download from the link below:

    Hi BeatriceCalvacca,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community where you can find all the answers related to windows. Looks like you have problems with the bottom once you have clicked on an option in the ease of access.

    First of all, let's change the accessibility settings:

    1. click on start, then click Control Panel.
    2. click on "Ease of access", then click on 'accessibility '.
    3. click on "make the computer easier to see.
    4. in the accessibility Control Panel window, scroll down and under "Doing things on the screen easier to see," clearly the box "Remove background images (sicettedonneeestdisponible).
    5. click on OK.

    Now, let's go and switch back to the Windows Vista default theme:

    1. right click on the desktop, and then click Customize.
    2. under "Themes Aero", click on "Windows vista".

    This should return the display to the default settings, how you can customize your office again.

    I hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to respond and we would be happy to help.

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

    Go to start / Control Panel / ease of Access / make the computer easier to see / and uncheck the high contrast option (uncheck all buttons just to be sure).  Reboot and it should no longer apply.

    If this does not work (or it is not already configured), here is another possible way it starts depending on the way in which you set up your color schemes.  Although the article is to know how to market, choose an option of no - high contrast should work to turn it off. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Turn-on-High-Contrast-and-change-the-settings.

    I hope this helps.
