  As much as I know there not additional switch to activate the Wlan. You can enable or disable the WiFi network using the FN + F8 key combination.

  I bought a second hand by Satellite 1130 laptop not too long ago and it worked fine for awhile but then it died on me... When I turn on the laptop the power light on the front comes on but nothing else. Laptop computer knows that it is on, as the DVD drive scans for a disc and the cooling fan starts but nothing else happens. The screen remains blank and I can't do anything with it.
