Easy way to access your Photos

Hello

is there an easy way to access my photos in the Photo for OS X app?

I know that I can export (for example on the desktop) and then drag and drop it into the destination folder/app

Another way is to use the menu to access media when opening files in apps but its not convenient to get the right picture.

Are there other/better ways that I can get my faster photos to other applications?

Use the menu to share Photos to share on Facebook or other applications.

And if you want to open photos in other applications, you can use the extensions of these photo editing applications.  Or use the External Editor extension to open any other photo editor of pictures.

  • Best way to share your photos - PSE 14?

What is the best way to share your photos?

When I consult with PSE 14 mode full screen, I see the full picture with captions.

    However:

    • Legends are not available in mode see the hand PDF Slide.
    • Create PDF Slide show mode, subtitles are available.
      • Howevever the full picture is not available. Most of the "themes" seem to cut the top and the bottom of certain images
      • And the themes seem to hijack images, rather than simply presenting the photos.

Would like to be able to capture and send the view from the mode full-screen as a PDF or something.

Still, what is the best way to share photos by e-mail?

    Thank you... Ron

We have all different ideas on sharing via "email address" and often features elements are not satisfactory for our purpose. You have perfectly described two features of pdf, share via the output to a pdf slide show (or video) or pdf.

Both are quick and easy, but there is no direct way to display captions with images full resolution and without transition effects.

You can use the function 'Print' with 'other options' Organizer configured to display captions, date... and specify one of many virtual printer drivers send the result to PDF instead of printing (standard in Windows 10). A quick and automated to produce a PDF without transitions and captions.

Or you can use a free, good software like Faststone resizer to prepare your output with more control over the size and position of the legend.

I have another problem: my use of the legends is such that I'm not all the legends that are shown, and I don't want each picture to have a caption (or title or date...) In fact, the text I want to appear on the pdf presentation would be specific to each image, with a different position depending on the image. It can be done with some work, and the result is much better.

When I want to share (I like Dropbox, but other storage cloud solutions are good), I choose my output size: (rare), HD TV screen full resolution or smaller. The Organizer, I do a resize a selection based on the height in pixels, then another resize a canvas based on the width, in pixels, with a black background. Can I edit the files individually to add text (not necessarily the legends) where I want to. It's the only job that requires little time, but the result is much better than including legends, both for the appearance of the text and the coherence of the story.

  • Convenient way to transfer your photos with the browser with the interface to open the file one by one?

Guys, is there a practical way to manage photos download from a browser with menu open the file?

Almost 4 years ago I switched from Windows and I still have to keep a copy of Windows @ my iMac, retina uder | Desktop just to download the fotos on social networks!

I can't find comparable sort on OS X with speed and efficiency of a Windows file manager in Windows! I have anyway to browse the files one by one in OS X and uploadinf the u as browser files? And then turning in the folder covered exactly the position of file where u left to transfer a file?

For example I have 3000 photos in a folder of my trip to US. If I download choose and download few of them in a menu Finder to open the file in the browser and then return to the folder I want to browse all the photos from the beginning to find a file that I was browsing last! At least windows remembers the position of a file chosen when you left the file!

Did you ever notice how LAGGY is photo navigation interface in the menu "Open a file" Safari? Especially when you set to display pictures in a LIST? GWD! The operating system that is more focused on the photo does not offer ANY practical way to manage photos!

    alejandro_64,

Your workflow is erroneous. I would recommend that use you the Photos app to manage your photos and if you then want to upload them to a social network like Facebook, or else others you can do so directly from the Photos app. This way you can manage your photos and share those you want easily. If you use any Photos now, you're a great DIS-service.

OS X is much more elegant and more simplified MS Windows has never been, unfortunately, you have not discovered what OS X features to do so.

  • Y at - it an easy way to title, including photo

In the export of photos I chose the title instead of file name.

However, I would like the title to appear in the photo, preferably above or below the image.

By selecting file > print and looking at the contact sheet is similar to what I want.

However, I am trying to export images to a folder on the desktop that will be then copy to a CD.

I would like the title under each photo.

    Appreciate any help.

    Owen

iPhoto can't do, but you can try the plugin BorderFX.  This plug-in can put a border around the photo and add titles, dates, legends and other annotations to the photo, when you export images to iPhoto.

    See: BorderFX - iPhoto iBorderFX

  • I need an easy way to evaluate several photos.

I am using windows Explorer and a photos-container-file I set up the 'Détails' mode and personalized to indicate the side of each photo.
If I use right-click on each photo, go to the 'details' tab and give my side - works great... but I have thousands of photos.
By clicking on the ranking column doesn't help me.
By clicking on the status bar for each photo - hm, the stars are 'Active', yellow and clickable... but if I click on another photo and return to the previous - the coast went :(
So, do you have any suggestions?

Hey, thanks! Windows Photo Gallery seems to be the right tool!

as for the thing about Media Center, I hope I'll manage to give it a try later today, at this moment I am very attached.
  • NO easy way to access the information for digital edition Adobe + Apple etc....

    Hi all

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could please point me in the right direction about "the process" for the presentation of what an Adobe application created with Adobe digital publishing to the Apple Store.  As I was walked through the steps once you are a developer of Apple etc., they start asking for all this information on the numbers business, D.U.N.S numbers etc... Does anyone know of a kind of white paper or documentation that helps explain this process?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

You want to use the guide edition single Edition or edition guide for Pro and Enterprise customers.

  • Protect your photos - Code

I am a photographer and use Dreamweaver. I've heard about a way to protect your photos so when visitors right click on them (it is not unauthorized right click like this is easily overcome) they are actually able to download the photo, but when they go to the desktop and open the photo... it's just a blank or empty jpg or the document...
I think it can be done with CSS and the replacement file this kind of thing, but am not sure and let it be... I do not know how... could someone help me out here? step by step...

    Thank you

This is how most photos and royalty free image work houses. They
an image watermark low-resolution web friendly to show to visitors, but you can access
the version of print quality until you pay because it's in a secure folder
the server. After verification, you will bring the real high-resolution
Download link. IMHO stuff to prevent, right click to enter the
image watermark are a waste of time.

  • Can I access iCloud photos from a stolen device?

Long story short, my mini iPad was stolen.

She has been saved to iCloud, although I have no idea what the level of operating system was.

I have a new mini iPad, with the same account as stolen.

I was wondering if I can access/download photos on the stolen device?

And if so, how I would go all this?

    Thank you

    Welcome to Apple Support communities

Unless you had your photos in the photo library from iCloud, you are unable to access your photos in your old iPad mini. However, if you use iCloud photo library, you should be able to access them from the Photos app.

  • Y at - it an easy way to make signatures for you photos

Is there an easy way, also using the tool pen to make signatures for photos?

    1. sign your name on the white paper with a black marker.

2 photograph this signature to small JPEG (you don't need high resolution).

    3. culture include the signature only.

4 do levels (not an adjustment layer) and cut both ends to make it pure black and pure white.

    5. resize less than 2500 pixels on the page.

    6. save in a Brush preset (Edit > define Brush preset...) to have access at any time.

Use it on a new layer, and you can easily add layer effects.  And, of course, free transform or the move tool, etc.

Hello. I so want to know if there is a way to keep the photos on icloud and get them deleted on your iphone, so that there is no problem of storage of the device.

iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

Y at - it an easy way to have a version number that the code VI has access to, and which is used as the version number for the executable file and the installer builds? Now whenever I update my software I need to change the global variable where I store the version number, and then when I build I have in hand, open the properties and change the version number for the executable file and the installer. Is there an easy way to make these as all corresponding automatically?
