  I tried to clone the application layer R12.1.3 with Database 11.1.0.7.0 Server 32-bit linux to linux 64-bit server. When executing adcfgclone.pl dbtier in his shows following error message.
  
  Exception occurred: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: ORA-01034: ORACLE is not available
  ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
  Linux-x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory
  
  Try to connect using SID as ServiceName.DomainName
  getConnectionUsingServiceName()->
  URL JDBC: jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=server.yantro.com)(PORT=1533))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=xr12.yantro.com)))
  Exception occurred: java.sql.SQLException: listener refused the connection with the following error:
  ORA-12514, TNS:listener is not currently of service requested in connect descriptor
  
  This error is software binary oracle pointing the wrong way when checking via the option of the ldd.

  Have you used the quick Clone for the database layer node? If so, then it will not work and quick Clone would work for the application only layer node.

  To clone your database of Linux 32-bit to 64-bit Linux, you will need to follow the steps described in (migration Oracle E-Business Suite R12 of Linux 32 bit for Linux 64 - bit [471566.1 ID]).

• EBS R12.1 login page cannot display - after installation

  I installed Oracle EBS R12.1 with multi node installation

  Host system: Windows 7

  VMPlaer:

  System1 comments: Database 64 bit OS Oracle Linux 6.7 Vision node

  System2 comments: OS Oracle Linux 64 bit Apps Tier 6.7

  EBS Application installed successfully, and I can see both are rising and running, I can see the login page (no forms) in DB and Apps nodes. And I can connect to the database of customer of db host system, but not able to open the login page to the host system. I checked the version of java and every thing looks fine at the host system, I can open it with other EBS on all issues.

  Based on Metalink notes:

  Solution1: Auto config ran level apps and does not - and file DBC looks good - no problem on the automatic configuration

  Option2: Recompiled from $FND_TOP/patch/115/bin - no JSP compiler error

  My conclusions from host system:

  Apps URL: http://192.168.64.130:8000/OA_HTML/AppsLogin

  When I am trying to open in Internet Explorer:

  This page cannot be displayed

  •Assurez - you have the web address http://192.168.64.130:8000 is correct.

  • Look for the page with your search engine.

  •Refresh page in a few minutes.

  When I am trying to open in Mozila:

  URL changed - which means that he is in communication with the server, something stops

  Yes it is possible, but you will have an application owner user and database level node files.

  If you want user applmgr upgraded node files of own apps and user oracle owning the db level node files then install quick there must be run in as root.

  If you want a user (applmgr and oracle) to have the apps and db level nodes files can install quick there must be running as that user.

  1 OBIEE 11 g (11.1.1.6)
  2 CAD 10.1.3.4.1 (imported repository)
  3 Informatica 9.0.1 (imported repository)
  4 EBS R12
  
  Everything is setup and works very well. Now, I want to connect it.
  EBS is up and running, OBIEE works, but where will find the diagram of DM for OBIEE and I arrived at the database of the EBS. But what else I need to run the initial race in CAD that extracts the Alpha of EBS R12 charge and generates data in OBIEE DM. I don't know if I already have these available in OLIVIER installation scripts. I am little stupid cant figure where they are.

  Now, I want to know what all the patches, the packaging and the RPM is necessary as a prerequisite before proceeding with the installation of R12.
  How to check if they are already present and how to install them.
  I have referred to the oracle notes but tangled in what points to be followed and that jump.

• Installation of the EBS R12 - domain name?

  Hi Experts,
  
  I try to install EBS R12 on Win 2003 server. I did all the steps of pre-installation and I have a problem to validate the pre-installation check screen. the error is in hosts/domains.
  I install on my laptop, so I don't have any area to add my computer. So what field I have to give the wizard... Please help me...

  Hello

  You don't have to join a domain. You must configure the primary DNS suffix as follows:

  -Right click on desktop > properties >
  -Click on the "Computer name" tab > click on 'Edit' > click on "More".
  -Enter the domain name under 'DNS suffix' main of this computer

  For example, if you want to use "xyz.com" as a domain name, enter "xyz.com" under "This computer's primary DNS suffix".

  -Click OK, restart the computer
  -From the command prompt, make sure that you can do the following:

  C:\ > ping hostname
  C:\ > ping nomhote.nomdomaine

  We want to configure the OAS 10 g (10.1.2.0.2) with OSS and OID and we are done below the sequence of steps, after that we will incorporate the OSS and the DIO with EBS R12 (10.0.6) with RDBMS 10.2.0.3.
  
  
  1: install the new 5.5 OEL 32 - bit on Dell Power Edge (16 processor and 16 GB of RAM)-> please provide meta Doc link for this
  2: install prereqs (such as recovery plans and configurations) before installing the OAS 10 g, OID and OSS-> please provide meta link Doc to do this, where I can download req
  RMPs for OEL 5.5 32-bit?
