  a. to ensure that you are with a view to the timeline, click the view menu and then click Calendar.

  Hello everyone.

  I use Windows Movie Maker to create a photo slideshow set to music. In addition, each photo has a caption.

  Here's my problem:

  Some photo captions are messy when I publish the movie. For example, "TCS 1999" shows as "SDC 199" in the published version, even if "SDC 2000" remains the same in the published version. " Not every picture is affected, but it is irritating.

  I would appreciate anyone's insight into this matter.

  1 when was the last time it was working fine?

  2. did you of recent changes on the computer

  You can try to change the color of the title element and check if it works.

  (a) open Windows movie maker

  (b) click on Toolsand then click on the titles and quotes.

  (c) click on the link that corresponds to where you want to add the title or credit.

  (d) in the entry for the title text box, type the text that you want to appear in the title or credit.

  After you type the text, the monitor displays the default animation and the format for the title or credit that you want to add.

  (e) to change the font and the color of your title, click change the font of the text and the color, and then choose the font, font color, put in shape, background color, transparency, font size, and position of the title to your liking.

  (f) click on the title to add.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the codecs but I feel I did something for the Movie Maker of the program itself, installing the codec pack, it came with a list of files it wanted to replace. I don't know for the life of me exactly what files were etc however, it seems Director impact because now it does not load the project files.

  It's such an embarrassment because I don't know what is happening and really need this problem as soon as POSSIBLE. Any help would be appreciated.

  Might be interesting to try to open Movie Maker and go to... Tools /.
  Options / compatibility... tab and uncheck all filters.

  If you still have questions... do a Safe Mode system restore
  at a time before installing the codec pack could be useful.

  If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you can
  be able to import files into Movie Maker directly from the
  DVD... the files you want are in the VIDEO_TS folder and have
  a VOB extension.

  Also... the info is maybe worth a visit:

  When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
  all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
  Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
  is in, and then select Explorer.

  The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
  You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
  in a folder on your hard drive.

  First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
  . MPG or .avi and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
  If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
  Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
  Re - import new video film for editing purposes.

  (FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
  in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
  file to edit)

  If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
  another .wmv format would be a good choice.

  Wait...

  (FWIW... I have better luck with video if I'm not

• Edition file Windows Movie Maker as my Windows DVD Maker solution get an error unspecified 1.6% each time?

  I can't publish my holiday video (multiple files linked together by me in Windows Movie Maker with title screens before each clip and music) as Windows DVD Maker claims an unspecified error of 1.6% each time. I changed the output directory, but that did not help. Also, when in Movie Maker / a lot of DVD Maker icon stream through the bar near the clock, some white with small print out and some red with "Ffv", which I can only think fact obstacle to the whole process!

  I was wondering if I could download it my Windows Movie Maker in another free DVD file, making the software and if you have any suggestions?

  It is possible that your project is too complex for
  your system resources but it is more than likely
  some of your files source (Photos, video Clips,
  Audio clips) are not fully compatible with Windows
  Movie Maker.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv
  Audio - wav, wma, wmv

  Conversion to formats compatible before importing
  in Movie Maker may be the solution.

  Frequently, I use Windows Movie Maker to edit videos of my friends... But WHENEVER I have to edit a video, and I play it back it ALWAYS freezes... Not the program, but the video Clip... And when I publish it, it freezes EVEN in the video as the preview... My ONLY solution is to keep cutting & removing parts of the video, but my videos are always less than 5 Minutes of time...   Oh, I already know about the Type of Format already... All my videos are 'WMV '... And besides that & "AVI", any other Type of video Format won't let you edit video, he would go to the Audio Section... But I checked my memory @ BobinSECO and my computer says it was good & right now to 4.0 GB (RAM)...
