El Capitan 10.11.6 updated disabled streaming

The last update has disabled the streaming of the Hockey World Cup. I should have better than to update both computers.

I'm a stickler for hockey, and it really bothers me.

I had to change the settings in the preferences of Safari security in two places, because it was automatically disabled and also set off for all sites. Brilliant, Apple.

Where can I find a previous copy of the operating system so I can uninstall/reinstall - fast?

Greetings BopCat,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you recently updated the operating system on your Mac, but now you want to revert to a previous version. I can understand wanting to go back if you liked a previous operating system better. I'm happy to help you with this.

I suggest to use article OS X El Capitan: revert to a previous version of OS X, more precisely, this section:

If you use Time Machine to back up your Mac, you can easily go back to an earlier version of Mac OS X if you have problems after you install an update.

Important: Revenant clears all changes to the files on your Mac since you have installed the new version of Mac OS X. To save the new or revised files, copy them to another disc or save them before following these instructions.

  1. Print these instructions.

Click on the Share button in the Help window, and then choose print.

  2. Choose the Apple menu > restart. After restarting your Mac and you hear the startup chime, press command and R.

When the Apple logo appears, you can release the keys.

  3. Select "Restore from a Time Machine backup", then click on continue.

  4. Select your Time Machine backup disk.

  5. Select the Time Machine backup you want to restore. To restore your computer to the State in which it was before installing the new version of Mac OS X, choose the most recent backup that occurred before installing the new version.

  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Have an amazing day!

I tried to solve this problem based on other similar questions welcomed by others, but have been unable to fix it. I have a single e-mail account which is apple me.com. The account has stopped working on the upgrade and does not download the messages for the MBPro. I tried everything that I've seen other recommended with similar but not identical questions be advised to do so and it did not work. My Rebuild option on the drop-message is disabled! I tried to disable an option 'automatically detect and manage account settings' again and again without success. I explore my computer I see other glitches too which make me wonder if it was the best idea to upgrade. I have implicit confidence in Apple which is questioned as we speak. Can it be fixed and if not can I go back to the older operating system? At least I can get my email on the ipad, but is not a solution! Thank you!

  • Why the new update disables my internet security?

I use Kaspersky Total Security, and the update of Firefox says it has disabled because it is "unsigned".

Completely separate Kaspersky anti-virus software installed on your Windows 7 is not affected in some way by the present and should still work normally.

Kaspersky exact extension must be signed.

A workaround to try for Firefox 43.0 until Kaspersky fixes their extension is type Subject: config in the address bar (address). Filter for xpinstall.signatures.required , and then double-click the preference, or click right and choose 'Toggle', for the false value.

You should give him time to sort itself, if it seems stuck, you can force it to quit the installation program by holding the button if necessary last resort supply.

Try restarting the SHIFT key for a secure boot now. Download the update from the drop-down list and install it on top of your existing OS X

  • El Capitan 10.11.6 updating only not on the App Store update list

I just installed iTunes 12.4.2 and El Capitan 10.11.6 but only iTunes does appear in the list of the App Store updates 'updates installed in the last 30 days.  Have never seen this before.  Restarted App Store app a few times and restarted the computer.  System seems to work very well.  Not a major problem, but thought I would mention it.

Even here, also oddly I had raw update 6.20 as requiring installation, even if it had been in June. iMac is saying his 10.11.6 but you say its not no projection in App store updates.

  • El Capitan 10.11.5 update slow SMB (bug)

Since I upgraded my Macbook Pro retina 2015 to 10.11.5 SMB transfer speeds to my Synology NAS are not go faster, then 25Mbit.

When I use AFP I get 110Mbit speeds on my nas.

A Mac Mini which has 10.11.4 and the SMB and AFP tested speeds are good 110Mbit.

10.11.5 mac mini updated and I get speed via SMB 25Mbit!

Looks like a bug in the release of El Capitan 10.11.5 SMB protocol

Same thing here - very slow speeds to my NAS Qnap (SMB) (also the mentioned 25Mbit. Before 10.11.5 I had about 100 Mbit).

My machine Windows 10 speed is still ok = > it is not a problem of the SIN.
