  I had my Canon Pixma Pro-100 now for a few years. What is a print quality, I think it is excellent. Note that it is an ink system die. Some people warn that the prints will not last as long. Pigments based systems reportedly produce impressions of longer duration. Personally, I don't mind it because I don't print that much. I had prints now posted on my wall for a couple of years and have seen no noticeable change in them.

  The other concern is whether or not you think you are going to print your own in order to save money. Many people refill their cartridges, which significantly reduces the cost of printing. I don't post enough to worry about the cost of ink, so I continued using OEM cartridges. It's really much cheaper to have your prints made by a reputable lab, even if you print a lot.

  Thus comes down to whether or not you really want to print, and what you want to accomplish. If you want just the experience to complete the process of a House, the Canon Pixma Pro-100 is a very good printer in my opinion. I used a number of different papers of the Red River. They provide profiles for all their papers and impressions fit very well. I have no problem with the printer.

  printer plugged into every usb port, all working with other equipment

• Why can't my Canon Pro - 100 Lightroom/Photoshop plug-in?

  When I try to install my Canon Pixma Pro - 100 plug-ins in Lightroom and Photoshop (via my creative photography subscription Cloud), the plugin install said software that these versions of Lightroom and Photoshop do not load the plug-in.

  This is not sensible.  I used the Canon Pixma Pro - 100 plug-in on the two Adobe programs until recently when I've upgraded to a new PC. I downloaded and installed the latest version of the printer software and firmware.

  How can I solve this problem? Any ideas?

• Resolution for prints on Pro - 100

  I take an online course to get certified Adobe for Photoshop. The instructor said that, for optimum print quality, it must use the maximum resolution that is available on your printer, on a Pro - 100 would be 2400 according to this guy.

  I have never heard this before and felt that it is ridiculous to set the resolution for more than 360. Am wrong me or is the instructor? I realize that this may depend on the desired print size and the number of pixels you have available, but even if you had that much info in the file, you would never want to set the very high resolution?

  I worked for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, for 40 years. We have all the means it is possible or conceivable, to put ink on paper! Believe me.

  Our normal work resolution is 300. I have the Pixma Pro-100 and more Pro - 9500 II and I use 300.

  I am very new to this I just bought a Mac Book Pro and I'm subscribed to the Photoshop CC 2015.  I downloaded the last version of driver and software for the Canon Pixma Pro 100, as recommended to do and it does not appear in my plugins Photoshop CC, but it installed in my lighthouse.  It gives you the option of selection of the destination, it jumps just to install.  When you click also on the canon utilities cd and an arrow appears, it gives you only the windows of adobe versions, then lighthouse.  Why what can be done? Help would be greatly appreciated.

  I went to use my canon printers today, (canon pixma ip4000 & canon Pro9000 MKii) and the system would go to print and it would come in place with the printer is not connected message. The printers were lit, and that they were connected to the system. I tried to use two printers and couldn't get anything to print.

  I uninstalled the printer drivers and went to the Web site of Cannon to try to download the drivers again, but had no luck.

  A Web site, I went to download the drivers detected etc I was running OS XEl capitan 10.11.6 and it says that there is no driver for this version available.

  This could be the reason why I can't print due to the update of OS XEl capitan 10.11.6.

  I haven't used my printer for a few months, but they worked very well the last time.

  Any help on the matter would be great.

  Yes, the incompatible drivers are probably the cause. Have you checked the tab updated App Store to see if there are new updates available? Otherwise, I call Canon and ask when they will be available for OS X 10.11.6.

  I have problems connecting with one of my printers.

  My iMac will connect with my printer (an HP Photosmart 5510e and Photosmart 7280) wireless without any problem.  My 13 inch (2009) MacBook Pro connects to the 7280 wireless but does not connect to the HP Photosmart 5510e device.

  I recently had to restart my MacBook and reconnected it to a printer without any problems.  I can't find the driver for a printer so I don't know if the 5510's could not reload when I did the reboot.

  Any suggestions as to what I should have fact/do to recover from the situation?
