Electronic mail is no longer supported by Windows

Found a company who asked me to respond to them in emailyGetting started on their e-mail document, seems normal.  After you fill in the message that happens it does not support Hotmail.  I need another account

I use Vista and it apparently is the problem. What a change I have to do?

Tim M.

Set up a Windows Mail in Vista mail account. That should fix it.

http://www.SimpleHelp.NET/2007/02/07/a-beginners-guide-to-setting-up-Windows-Mail/

Link above has an easy to follow Guide to set up Windows Mail.

Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

They offer your broad band/Dial-up connection.

Ask them to:

username
password for your service account to wide band/Dial-Up with them

Server of incoming POP3 mail
outgoing mail SMTP server

The above information is required to set up Windows Mail.

ISPS are usually happy to help you set up your email account.

See you soon.

  • Windows Mail is no longer supported by HTTP servers.

What can I do to solve the following problem?  When I try to attach a photo to an e-mail message, I get the following message is displayed.  'Windows Mail can't stand the HTTP servers used by Hotmail and other web e-mail providers'. I am informed that I need to set up a different e-mail account. When I start to install a different account, I was informed that I already have an account.  I am also advised to see the other options to access my e-mail on the web.  If Microsoft developed and sold a program that caught sometime supported HTTP servers and then is no longer supported HTTP servers then it seems that Microsoft should offer and share a simple solution to this very disturbing problem.  Please notify.

I had the Geek Squad and out Make It Work guys to solve the problem.   It seems they can't.  If they cannot solve the problem, then I know I'm in trouble.  Maybe there is no solution.   Respectfully, Vista is the 'Edsel' from Microsoft?  Can I replace Vista with Windows 7 without disturbing all the info on/in my PC?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

  • settings of electronic mail of transfer from xp to windows live mail

    (1) yesterday, I transferred the information on my old computer with xp operating system on my new computer with the windows operating system 7.  I used the easy transfer cable and software.  All files and the e-mail settings transferred to the new computer with the exception of my wife's e-mail account and all of its files in the outlook express account.  I need to know how can I transfer records of Live mail e-mail.  There were two e-mail accounts in outlook express.  My mail transferred and direct files (and folders) synchronized eyerything in storage folders.  Profile of my wife has not transferred, nor has any records.

    (2) in outlook express when I opened my e-mail foler has asked that my login and password and my wife and I had different identities.  When I logged in, only my folders (storage records) have been posted.   Now on live mail all my files storage are still displayed even if my wife is to check his e-mail.  How can I set up direct mail so my wife and I have unique identities and when we opened our e-mail accounts that our individual records are displayed.

  • Creates shortcuts to folders via SHIFT-CTRL/Drag-And-Drop is no longer supported in Windows 7 (64 bit)?

In Windows Vista, there are two possibilities to create a shortcut to a folder by drag - move different combinations of keys by drag-and - drop:

'ALT'-key: create a normal shortcut (a double-click on this shortcut navigates to the linked folder)
"SHIFT-CTRL"-key: creates a shortcut file (junction; "." the folder appears as a subfolder of the folder of its container)

In Windows 7, it is only possible to create normal shortcuts. 'SHIFT-CTRL' / drag-and-drop doesn't seem to work in Windows 7. Only, it behaves in the same way as 'ALT' / drag-and-drop.

    My observation is correct?
Is it possible to activate Vista-like behavior in Windows 7 (for example, by editing the registry)?

    A few notes:

Shortcuts to files that have been created previously with Windows Vista are always managed properly in Windows 7 (i.e., they appear as subfolders).

The expected behavior of drag-and-drop works correctly when deleting in the folder "...\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network shortcuts" (However, creating normal shortcuts via "ALT" - key is not possible in the shortcut 'network' - folder).

Creating a shortcut to folder in "Network shortcut" and then moving in an arbitrary folder shortcut works as expected. Currently, it is the only workaround I know.

Thank you very much for your answer!

  • How can I fix see "obsolete driver is no longer supported by Windows Media Player ' on my Win XP Tablet?

I have a 3 own Motion LE1600 Windows XP svc pk tablet. I run Windows Media Player v 11.0.5721.5280. I don't have any IDEA of pilots. The songs seem to play very well.

So, what happened WITH THAT? How can I solve this problem?

You download the .zip file on your hard disk and unzip it on your hard drive?  "If so, you should work with Explorer and not Internet Explorer, then"open in a new tab"should not be an option.  What happens if your right click on "setup.exe" and select "open"?

You are an administrator on your machine?  The drivers require that you be logged as an administrator in order to install the drivers.  The quick test is to right click on the button 'start '.  If "Open all users" is one of the options that opens, then you are an administrator.

Other .exe files open or is it just this one?  If you have a problem with all .exe files, you may have a problem of association of files with ".exe" files

  • Your device is using an outdated driver is no longer supported by Windows Media Player. How to (1) find out which device is being shown and (2) find a suitable driver for it.

The "error" box appears whenever I invoke Media Player in Windows 7 on my PC.  I have the same speakers, sound card, DVD drive in my PC that did not exist before installing Windows 7.  Compatibility utility says that everything should work.

I found that if I unplugged my Windows Mobile (6.5) from the PC, this error has ceased to occur. Check your USB connections and remove all devices that may have some legacy applications on them.

  • Your device is using an outdated driver is no longer supported by Windows Media Player.

What is the solution to this problem?

    Hi Johnny,.

This problem can occur when the device driver (sound card) is obsolete compared to the latest version of the driver available on the website of the manufacturer of the computer. In addition, when an external device is connected when you run Windows Media player on the computer, it will access the device when you navigate to the files in the driver. In this case, it will check the version of the driver for the external device. If it has not updated or not installed correctly, you may receive an error message.

I suggest you to update the version of sound card by referring to the manufacturer's Web site and check if it solves the problem:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Update-driver-hardware-isn ' t-work correctly

Also if there are any external device connected, please remove the devices (except the keyboard and mouse) and check the status of this issue.

  • Adobe Reader / Flash support on Windows XP

    Hi all

I have a small question about the extended support. The latest information that I have read, it's that support ends in may 2014.

    Is that still correct?

It is man that Adobe Reader/Acrobat or Adobe Flash Player is longer supported on Windows XP?

    Thanks in advance,

    Zoltan

Adobe Reader 10.1.11 / 11.0.08 was the last version with support for Windows XP.  10.1.12 reader / 11.0.09 dropped in favor of XP.

Flash Player is still supported on Windows XP, from the current version 15.0.0.152 / 15.0.0.167.

  • Cannot open the application "Mail" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported

I work on a MacBook Pro mid 2012

    Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz

    OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

The Mail app suddenly quit and when I tried to resume, I got this message

"Cannot open the application"Mail"because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

This also happens with the "Maps" app

All Mac software are up to date, but "Mail" has been working fine since my last update that was awhile ago.

I am confused to say the least. Suggestions? Thank you!

If you do a Get Info (command - I) on Mail and Maps applications, what version numbers do you see?

    Try a reboot.

Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

Isolate a problem by using a different user account

If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

Safe mode - on El Capitan

    Start Mode without failure-El Capitan.

  • Windows xp is no longer supported

I am disabled with rheumatoid arthritis. I get social security, food stamps, housing assistance. I don't have $100 for another OS. What is a person like me supposed to do when Microsoft decides to no longer support my OS? I get it is outdated, but it's the only one I've got. And if you're wondering how I have a computer first? I bought myself when I was working. I don't have that luxury. Any ideas of what I'm supposed to do now?

    Hello

Even if the support ends your XP still works like usual for a long time. Although
There is a chance that a security hole may be exploited you can stop most in keeping
your firewall and updated antivirus updated.

There are many programs antivirus/antispyware free out there like Avast, AVG, and
    others.

Check computer and arthritis support groups in your area that may offer
    additional assistance.

These forums will always be open where you can get help as needed.

    I hope this helps.
