    Hi Marilyn, there.

    Rules of campaign response as you know, governing what types of activities are considered as valuable enough to trigger a creation of campaign members.

    This in turn, can be related directly to lead the rating according to your measure of business impact based on the answer (whether web response or manual download).

    For example, you can use the filter of contact activity based looking for someone that has triggered a campaign over the last 30 days response.  This does 2 things: output any notable responses and considers the recency of the event.  This of course can be used for the implicit part of lead scoring according to your needs.

    Hello.. just noticed that links to areas of support have changed once again.

    The only way I can now seem to access my case is if I go to Eloqua today and you click on the link.  Usually, I'm in the middle of troubleshooting of an article and it was very nice to be able to hit this "Customer centric" link at the top of the page and choose if I wanted to go to Eloqua University, community (Topliners) or the Support Portal...  WITHOUT having to waste my place inside Eloqua itself that I start have reported/double checking the items on the new case (IE, taking screenshots, to check if there are solutions or if I can consistently reproduce the problem - whatever it is, etc, etc.).

    Or is it possible that the link is there, but instead of horizontally as before, I'm not vertically and my IE is not let me scroll down?  (I noticed this before with Eloqua sites... Something very wobbly and I am not able to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page at all).

    Otherwise, anyone having this problem or is it just me?

  • Consulting multiple models of Score lead in Insight

    I would like to compare two models of notation in the Score Dashboard drive in Insight.  Is this possible?

    We have two models as described below.

    However, in the Score Dashboard driving Insight, we can see only the active model.  I wish I could see the two models in Insight.  Page 8 of Eloqua 10 Drive Configuration Guide rating it seems it should be possible, however, I only see one.

    The aspect of troubleshooting and analysis, whether you have one or more templates "active", is a good point and something I'll discuss with the team scoring lead.  Agreed that allowing the comparison of a production model to a model being developed for production, should be possible on any trim.

  • E10: Insight Eloqua roadblocks

    We met some roadblocks with Eloqua Insight on obtaining the reports you need scoring and lead campaign.

    Filtering currently Eloqua Insight and metrics are limited to fields like name, address email, company, system and created Eloqua date. Criticism, we must join in Insight are custom fields.  This includes all fields of notation of lead (Lead rating, note explicit and implicit score), our custom date fields (score last lead, purchase date fields for each business unit history) and our fields of integration (MSCRM Contact ID, date of last synchronization).

    There is a demand for open feature (Exp47) that is currently underway, but a release date has not yet been established.

    With these limitations Insight, we are unable to create reports on our wish list:

    • Recipes related to campaigns
    • Complete automated lead, staff report
    • Marketing funnel report

    Aelse LL is to find this situation a significant hurdle?

    Thank you for the message!

    Custom fields will be available on an overview of mid-August 2012. Come August, if you want to use custom fields available on Insight, you can get to from Eloqua support team and request to have this added. Note: Just ask once for all custom fields are available.

    Regarding scoring lead from the fields, there are little lead scoring already available on the Insight fields. You can access them using the Analyzer license (formerly 'Designer' license, allowing to create/edit Insight reports). Most of these fields will be under attributes / Metrics--> Contacts--> lead scoring. Alternatively, you can search the data model by typing the full/partial name of the field you are looking for in the search field "Find" under "all objects".

    For the fields of integration, you will find most of them under the attribute--> account--> integration fields or use the search to 'Find', as shown above for the scoring lead.

  • What gives? Research (w / no luck) of E-mail groups in scoring model to drive E10...

    What I'm missing here, people? How is - E10 - I can search and locate groups specific e-mail through a filter of Contact Power Tools but I can't find the same groups of email through the rule of engagement model criteria scoring lead? It is specifically stated "emails in folders" - I must be missing something here - can someone please shed some light for me?

    It is I understand that model E10 rating lead you cannot mark based on Group Messaging. You can only score e-mail based on the folders they reside in.

  • Get to Eloqua 9 data via the API?

    Can anyone shed light on what is available via the Eloqua9 API to get the Eloqua data and also have a system (such as SQL2012) external data in Eloqua push? We are trying to implement the data cleanup efforts in our new tool of Data Quality Services and we would like to integrate with Eloqua. Can you give us some insight and detail on what we can and cannot do?

    Eloqua offers various options of the Soap API & REST.

    Also low volume & bulk options as well.

    An air of challenge, you can accomplish connecting SQL2012 to Eloqua defining HTTP endpoints and using components of script for mappings of field and transfer data using SSIS.

    For a more robust solution I would develop a .net stand alone application, and you can call it of SSIS in order automation and business intelligence.

  • How can I set up a form for a person to fill in the name of another person?

    I'm implementing a form in which a person is asked to fill out the form to someone else. Basically, we ask people if they are still our first contact. If they are, it is a confirmation of the simple blind shape. If they don't, ask them to please tell us who. While it will take them to a form where they can tell us who is the new contact. However, I do not want cookies for the new person to be assigned to the person who filled out the form (like who would mess then with segmentation, scoring lead / feed, etc.). We must also see who is the person filling out the form, so that we know which replaces the new person. So, we will need to collect the address name or email of the person filling out the form, in addition to the name and address of the person that they add email.

    I know that this is possible, as in a previous company, we have a form that has been used internally to add those who have called for requests for, so that we could catch them as 'submit a request' as if they had just completed a form. For example, I would like to fill out the form after someone requesting product information, but the online behavior of this person would not be attributed to me even though I filled out the form on my computer. Unfortunately, I don't remember how this was put in place. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be adjusted upward?

    To do this, the easiest method is to set up two forms:

    1. The first form is your primary contact, who will submit to the secondary email address and additional contact information for the secondary contact. You can also include a field (hidden or not) for the primary contact if you want to record the activity of presentation of this form, but functionally, it is not necessary.
    2. A second form that will accept e-mail address of the secondary contact and any other contact information you want to capture through this process.

    The thing is that, once you have these two forms saved, you add a form processing step to the first form called Post data to the server. In this step, you fill in the details for the second form, including making sure to map the secondary e-mail address field on the formula 1 to the e-mail address field main form 2. The URL must be the action url POST for the secondary form, you can get the details of integration. You also need to add your SiteID and the form name and also a variable to disable cookies for this presentation (elqCookieWrite). The final URL should be something like this:

    https://s1886.t.Eloqua.com/e/F2?elqSiteID=1886&elqFormName=Alt2&elqCookieWrite=0

    • My organization is 1886, you will need to replace it with the code of your Site
    • My name of the secondary form is Alt2, so you have to replace with your name of secondary form
    • elqCookieWrite = 0 provides the secondary form will not attempt to associate the session with the ElqGUID (cookie)

    In the secondary form, make sure you have updated contact - form dataprocessing step.

    Now when submit form 1, you will see a presentation to both forms, and contact information submitted to form 2 creates a new contact (or updates an existing one) with no link with the course/session cookie used to submit the form 1. You can add these contacts to a shared list, enter them in a separate campaign or program or something else, you could do a presentation of normal form.

    One caveat to remember is that as this person has not submitted the form, you have collected not technically no permission to contact them, you need to set some rules will apply in your area (your use case seems to be for existing customers which is usually OK, but you should still check).

  • Page tags vs visits web page

    Hi all

    I'll put up our first model scoring lead. How our web page visits is implemented means pages appear only once as they were visited by a person at least once (which is fine). However, if I wanted to bring everyone together "has visited the page tag" pages of this tag update every time a new page is filled with Eloqua? For example, if my tag page consists of all our articles on our site on gardening, if a new gardening article is posted and someone visits it, this new gardening section appears in my gardening page tag? Are the tags of the page dynamic and intelligent enough to recognize new pages under some tags?

    If this is not the case, how can I reference this easily? I think I read once on the inclusion of a meta tag on a Web page in order to ensure its labeled Eloqua in?

    Hi Hannah,

    It is actually an auto-tagging feature Eloqua you can automatically configure the new tag pages created in some subfolder of your site map. Which means that, in your example, all gardening pages must have a url starting with"http://www.yourwebsite.com/gardening/...or to be essentially in the same subfolder.

    If you go to the Page Tagging in Set Up and then click on "Page Tagging" there is a drop down menu the option "Daub rule." He will be asked to identify the base url (i.e. http://www.yourwebsite.com/gardening/...) ") and how many levels deep you want to auto-tagging to occur. As in, if "gardening" has many subfolders it contains, the number of subfolders in want to sure that autotagging continue to tag rule.

  • How would you define your industry sales promotion?

    Sales promotion continues to become a term very Council.  In the tech space it seems to be common around what sales promotion is in fact, other industries are trying to define.  Promotion sales includes reseller partners (that is to say the manufacturing and life sciences), internal and external advisors (wealth management, IE), agents (IE asset management)?  In addition, enablement will exceed supporting partner/Advisor/agent and include also allow the internal organization manage the recruitment of these resources?

    How would you define the sales promotion, and how did you put it into practice?

    Not sure that I even an answer to the question again... need her more ruminating.  But as someone who has a background in marketing in the technology sector and now it feels like the term sales promotion has become synonymous with marketing consultant fighting to not bring the 'golden' son fast enough or often enough.  The tools are powerful and what we as traders can provide these days is very different than even five years ago, but it seems that the 'Hunter' in sales is spent (particularly in small businesses) and was replaced by one or the other team of telequal who is really just taken stakeholders and call them to transmit a way (of sale) or the other (back to marketing) or by a team that wants to only call entering lead and very strongly censored conduit.  Despite the engagement of leaders in the industry such as lead scoring Sirius is used rarely, or not at all, and when he is he has been transferred to provide the speed of do not have the quality of the leads.   Scoring lead was swapped so far of his intention, that he can't spend perhaps the highest quality leads without any cables that respond to anything.  Somewhere, lead quality became lost and quantity has led to a passing cables fire hose back, so assume sales marketing can only produce volume and not the quality and the cycle starts again.

    I think that now it's time to redefine the sales promotion.  Provision of tools for sales, it is a single component, of agreement and mutual understanding around what feeds the process, the agreement on an advance of what is, for trigger points that move from one stage in the cascade to another, ALS and feedback on both sides around what works and what is not form the backbone of successful activation.  After that the process and tools are in place a robust feedback loop must be built, something that allows two parties to share (systematically) how things work in the field.  Somewhere in the middle of this loop, it goes beyond just sales and marketing and even involves the product teams to help them better understand how the features and functionality of the products they design are really vibrate with customers.  This feedback beyond the sales and marketing of the teams then form the basis for business enablement, truly enabling the success of the product and the company as a whole.

  • Copy a contact field to another field of contact through program Builder?

    We receive many States cited incorrectly in the country field. I am trying to clean up these data, if I want to do is take what is written for the country and put in the domain of the State (if the status field is not populated with a few other gibberish!). I don't know how to do this. Any ideas how to do this?

    Apply update rules. This will allow you to do excatly what you are looking for... You should be able to find many documents on Topliners and Eloqua Customer Central.

  • Popping previously a form via a seller sent mail

    Hi all

    Quick question - we are looking for a campaign with a pre-filled form (hosted in Eloqua) but by an email sent by our provider. We do not have the property in the list, so the seller must send the email to us. The seller said that the Emails will be marked with unique identifiers to pre-fill the short form. We do not have these contacts in Eloqua but once they choose in their e-mail, we want to capture and then feed them.

    Is this possible to do? If so, how?

    Do we have the seller create the engine of the shape or it's something that we can create in Eloqua based on unique identifiers they provide?

    Any idea is appreciated.

    You are welcome. Even with the approach of perspectives, information must first be in the database of Eloqua. So, I find the best way forward for your seller to host the launch of the form page.

    What you could do then is fire a blind form submit form Eloqua hosted for the contacts to send the form hosted provider.

    The blind form submit the documentation can be found on Eloqua Customer Central in the article named "create a form of tracking of clicks (aka blind form submit).

    If you are based in Hong Kong, then we sell CC for the people directly, and CC for teams is available through resellers.

    It's good to buy an individual license for a company.  The option offer centralized administration/deployment teams & more storage (100 GB) which are perhaps not necessary for your needs.
