EM12C configure persistent "Annotations"

Hi all,

Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 4
Version    12.1.0.4.0

In the menu:

Setup > Management Packs > Enable Annotations

We can enable annotations in the links to know what options (licenses)

are associated with the binding.

So my question is:

Can I do the 'Annotations' persistent? I want to say, if I'm logged EM and connect new and annotations always there.

Thanks in advance,

Juan M

At the moment there is no way to make this persistent...  I would suggest logging an enhancement request with Support to make the request if this is something you are interested in.

  • With VMware View can use persistent disks and roaming profiles together

Site already has XP roaming profiles configuration and are again VDI Win7 so new profiles (username.v2) will be created anyway. However, I want to continue to use roaming profiles, hosted on a server so that the data is replicated and backed up. (redundant solutions already in place) Initially while we configure persistent discs and the VDI will be not synchronize with the roaming profile on D:\   I confirmed that my roaming profiles work very well on a physical system running Win7, but problems with the VDI. I was wondering if I can get them in sync in the current configuration, or if I should scrap the drive persistent in a way that the data will be all stay and synchronize on roaming profile constantly even if I refresh or update my Golden VDI image?

    Hi, welcome in the community

If you want to use your existing installation of roaming profile, then the best option is do not use "persistent" disk configuration Redirect to drive persistent static and it brings the use of extra storage.

While commissioning a desk with persistent disk pool, view and changes the path of the user in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Profile profile list to the D drive.  This may conflict with your roaming profile configuration. To confirm that, in the physical machine, change string values "Default", 'Profile directory' and 'Public' in the list of profiles registry which refers to a new path.

    > If I should scrap the persistent drive in a way that the data will be all remain and synchronize with roaming profile constantly even if I refresh or update my Golden VDI image?

Yes, it could be a convenient option for you. Deploy pools dedicated without redirection of the user's data

  • View saves the different host name in AD

We run v5.3 Horizon in a vSphere 5.5 environment. Lately, I noticed that when I'm building a large pool, sometimes registered in DNS host names do not match the display generated on the virtual computer names. We use the clones related with a delete on logoff, no disk configuration persistent.  What components are involved in the disappearance of the name? It's between the composer and the agent of the view on the VM? I don't know how this could be getting screwed so intermittently.View_DNS.png

Finally, this problem disappeared for us. I believe that view 5.3.4 was ok and so far 6.1 also appears to not have this problem. I'm not 100% sure it was a problem of the Horizon, but that seems more likely.

  • Non-compliant profile homepage

We have a problem where our host profile fails in our environment of ESXi 5.0. One of the configuration settings is the Advanced Configuration Option > Annotations.WelcomeMessage. We have defined on "Configure a fixed option", and have the two fields filled with data. When I apply the profile, I get the following message:

    Chess against host profile

Annotation.WelcomeMessage option does not match the specified criteria

The weird part is when I check the host, the Annotations.WelcomeMessage is filled in with the correct values. When I check the conformity of the profile again, it still shows as a failure. In addition, when I check the compliance with the host of reference, it shows as being compliant. No idea why this would happen?

And just to test, I created a new profile of the host using a multitude of different reference. Of course this time everything works perfectly. Strange!

  • Incorporation of audio and control icon

I am student at the incorporation of audio files (extracted from foreign languages) in a PDF made using Acrobat 9.

The audio files are made using NCH Soundpad and converted to mp3.

Place the cursor in the right place > Multimedia > sound > find the file

Everything works EXCEPT that I can't control the appearance of the icon. The dialog box indicates 'no border', 'the border' etc, but whatever I this really nasty inappropriate icon.

When you click on this icon (mean), the audio clip plays OK. BUT to play a second time, the icon must be large enough for the reader to identify a blob bit inside the icon. that is, after the first play through the icon changes shape slightly.

    Embed_Shot_A.jpg

What you see in the screenshot is the poster image - JPEG format that is displayed prior to activation of the audio annotation. Once someone clicks on it, the Flash player widget appears in its place. The default widget comes with Acrobat is designed as a long horizontal Strip, so does not work in a small rectangle.

You have many options for changing the appearance and function of multimedia annotations via the properties panel (right-click on the annotation and choose Properties)-for starters, you can configure the annotation to play in a floating window, then the widget of the player is not limited to the size of your rectangle of the annotation. You can change the image of the poster before activate when loading a JPEG image (for example, a 'play' icon) and using the SWF file type annotation (or exchanging files in the Acrobat installation folder) you can use your own custom player widget - but which requires Flash programming skills.

  • MDB cannot bind to the queue via foreign JNDI

    Hi all

I have an MDB (configured with annotations) that I want to connect to a queue on a remote Instance of Weblogic. I made available to the local instance queue foreign using JNDI. I got this job in the previous configurations, but now I get the MDB error messages:

javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: could not resolve ' weblogic.jms.backend.Messaging - Server "." Solved "weblogic.jms.backend"; another name "mail server".

"Mail - server" here is the name of the JMS server on the remote instance and the name is not available in the remote instances JNDI tree, in the local (which should be correct imo).

I had the installation works with the same server configurations when using the same MDB configured manually with set of deployment descriptors. I also had the version of the annotation of work when using local queues to JNDI. And I am able to send messages to the queue for foreign aid JNDI.

The difference that I am aware of so far is with the annotated version, that I was not able to specify the ConnectionFactory JNDI name because I have not found an annotation for her and not examples. But if this is the problem why it works using local queues?

Do I have to specify a foreign JNDI link bearing the name of the e-mail server so it can be accessed on-site? But, if so, why it works with the version without annotations?

Here, the pointers are welcome because I really have no idea what I could check.

    Thanks, Chris

    Hi Christian,

My guess is that the exception is due to an attempt to use a JMS connection that is connected in the local cluster to communicate with a destination in a WebLogic JMS remote cluster, which of course will not work.

If the destination of the source for an MDB is on a foreign seller or another WebLogic cluster, you need to inject somehow a reference to the remote destination and the factory remote connections. Normally this is done via the following steps (1) set up a Server JMS 'strangers' with the URL/user/pass of the remote JNDI, (2) set up a foreign destination and the name of factory for foreign connections on the foreign JMS server that maps each remote JNDI name in a JNDI name local, installation (3) to the top of the MDB to reference the JNDI local connection factory and the remote JMS destination mappings.

Once you have set up the foreign JMS server, see if it works:

    @MessageDriven(mappedName = "MyQ", activationConfig = {
    @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "connectionFactoryJndiName", propertyValue = "MyCF")})

I'm not sure if it's necessary, but you might also want to try these:
    @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationName", propertyValue ="MyQ")
    @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationType", propertyValue = "javax.jms.Queue"),

I did not try it myself, but I think it'll do the trick.

  • IOS XR. When absolute refpoint is created in the primary persistent configuration file?

    Hi all

Can someone help me understand during the creation of the absolute refpoint and what determines that a certain place in the persistent configuration file becomes an absolute refpoint?

The foundations of the IOS XR States that 'an absolute refpoint is the configuration of the router at any given time. Engage
"refpoints are the files of different validation that are created for each commit. But at what point? I would like to know that in the case for example to do a restore to find out where my absolute point (namely the IOS will be restored when starting) vary his place in the persistent config or not?

    Thank you!

    Hello vadym,.

feels to me that it is a little more complex way to explain the validation database in this book.

every time a commit is done, the configuration of this set is stored as an id validation (or label if provided). This gives then a check point in time which allows you to return to for example.

the validation database can contain 100 changes.

the complete configuration is always available at sysdb. (the database system).

  • a configuration of VM for not using independent, no persistent record

I am configuring a Virtual Machine ESXI5 VMX file for not using independent, no persistent record.

When I add the Keywork and value:

    scsiX:Y.mode (X and Y > = 0) = "persistent".

in the vmx file and add it to the inventory, the virtual machine is not valid.  I have to either delete the keyword or # line birng the system back online.

Is it supposed to be a value for X and Y or a different key word to use?

x and is the abbreviation for controller and port

If you want to set the mode of
    scsi0:0 - you would use
    scsi0:0.mode = persistent "independent-no.
    or
    scsi0:0.mode = "independent-persistent."

    or

    scsi0:0.mode = "persistent".

Also - where have you found the trick to do? -C' is quite missguiding.
I suggest take you a look at the vmx directly - then you'd have you seen what must be entered

  • No persistent personal firewall configuration to the ESXi host is restarted

    I followed the instructions in this KB http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 2007381

My host is restarted still does not add my cutom firewall settings... If I use the shell and manually run esxcli updating of network firewall adds it.

I'm under ESXi 5.1, according to the KB you add updating of firewall of network esxcli to the /etc/profile.local that I have confirmed that my xml is copied from my data store.

You can try to add to /etc/rc.local.d/local.sh instead and see what happens...?

  • Problems with the 'Grid entity' configuration consistency

I have difficulty getting the configuration work "Entity grid" consistency. I'm on Oracle Version consistency 3.6.0.4 Build 19111. I carefully followed the instructions for the third scenario configuration consistency documented on the page "JPA on the grid" [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/doc.1111/e16596/tlcgd003.htm#CHDGGGAJ] here. I will include excerpts from the records, but I think that I have been following the docs. I must be missing something that the docs report directly? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The problem I encounter is that when this 'Grid entity' coherence mode is used, the entities are not reading from the database when the application starts. The application behaves as if there is absolutely no data in the database, even if I know that I have lines in tables to backup my entities. In my test dummy application, I also have problems persistent entities. If I temporarily disable consistency commenting annotations {noformat}@Customizer{noformat} entity everything works perfectly (DataSet starting loads from the database as expected and new entities are correctly preserved). If I change to the "grid + hidden +" things configuration seems to work fine. But it's not ideal because we want the features of read/write of entityof the grid.

And the error when you try to make persistent the new entity:
javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: Error committing transaction:; nested exception is: javax.persistence.OptimisticLockException: Exception [EclipseLink-5004] (Eclipse Persistence Services - 2.1.3.v20110304-r9073): org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.OptimisticLockException

So just to sum up, I currently see two problems: 1) no data from the database consistency and implementation — why not consistency out of database? and (2) what's this persistent mistake on OptimisticLockException? Thanks again for any help.

JPQL API criteria or both will result in coherence filters when using GridRead or GridEntity.
TopLink grid has no way of knowing if the data in the cache are sufficient to satisfy the query, for example based on the provided query TopLink grid would determine how between a user with no book and insufficient. Your application will need to determine that not enough has been stored in the cache or to perform an initial charge in bulk for a particular user to redirect the request to the database programmatically. Queries of grid can easily be redirected to the database by setting the IgnoreDefaultRedirector on the query using query.setHint (QueryHints.QUERY_REDIRECTOR, new IgnoreDefaultRedirector()); Read from the database of entities will be automatically pushed to the consistency.

    Hi @BreBruce-Tampa,.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff. I came across your post and wanted to help.

Please go through support documents original boot use dimmed in Windows 10 configuration & Exit Safe Mode

If the problem persists, I recommend you try to perform a system recovery that will repair the PC back to factory shipped settings.

Perform a recovery of the system (Windows 10) HP

If this link does not work, contact support HP phone to get recovery media to reinstall windows on the PC: HP Customer - Support Contact

Note: Recovery will wipe out everything from the PC. If you have something important come into contact with some stores to get your backup data.

I hope this helps. If you need assistance, please let me know.

    Kind regards
