  • I can't receive email, everything is OK.

    I use windows implemented 8.1 updated a week ago from windows 8. To Thunderbird. 38.2.0, everything worked fine. When I downloaded my emails per week there is the following message showed (download 1-12), then he stopped at the bar green flashed on and outside, and I just couldn't receive emails - if I could send emails without any problem. I have been in contact with the ISP and everything is ok, I recreated my account on another computer and I get e-mails it without problem using Thunderbird. I tried - I use AVAST anti-virus and have been uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing works. I then deleted the email in Thunderbird and now it allows me to recreate the address. Error is check username or incorrect password. However, I put the different passwords, user names, POP3 etc is all correct - this has been checked by the ISP and confirmed correct. I've now downloaded and installed Outlook and it works. I do not like Outlook! and wish to stay with Thunderbird, any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

    It is recognized that the Yahoo service is laminated with odd errors, timeouts. Weird messages, re-indexing, who sees the mailboxes all re-uploaded.

    Basically Yahoo don't care of email clients. There is no pub for sale using a. They make changes to standards RFC random undocumented and not to their service and allow users to work on its functioning.

    I suggest that you produce support ticked with Yahoo. But I never received a response on their part ever. Not even when their spam filter makes all of the mail a spam of email clients. I have no doubt they had answers to this one. Because he is just, he started to work again a week or two latter.

  • How to set up pop email on yosemite

    How can I configure e-mail pop on my Yosemite, all I get is imap

    You must know the POP settings your ISP uses. For example, if I do a search on "Settings of Gmail POP", the link above brings me to this information (after a few clicks more within that).

    Standard configuration instructions:

    Incoming mail (POP3) server - requires SSL: pop.gmail.com
    Use SSL: Yes
    Port: 995
    Server of Mail (SMTP) outbound - requires TLS or SSL: SMTP.gmail.com
    Use authentication: Yes
    Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
    Port for SSL: 465
    The Server timeouts Than 1 minute, we recommend 5
    Name and first name or full name: [your name]
    Account name or username: your email address (including the @gmail.com or @your_domain.com)
    E-mail address: your address ([email protected] or username@your_domain.com) e-mail
    Password: your Gmail password

    It is the main thing you need to know to POP for Gmail accounts. The incoming server is pop.gmail.com. A Gmail account as default IMAP if create you one, then you will have to manually go into your e-mail account settings and change it to pop.

  • I am having major problems with my emails. I can send emails OK but I can't receive them. I use Outlook Express.

    I am having major problems with my emails.  I can send emails OK but I can't receive them.  I use Outlook Express.  When I first turn on outlook express, emails start coming, but then outlook express crashes.  I disable outlook express and start again. My emails are stuck in the Orange webmail box until the last email is downloaded.  This means that I sometimes get the same time to send four or five. I called technical support Orange several times, but they say it's a problem of microsoft. I use Windows XP.

    original title: I can't receive emails from outlook express.

    Hi Mike,.

    Make sure that you have not activated your antivirus software analysis of electronic mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 which is often a problem with receiving and sending a message.

    Then, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and a new registry hive (where all the settings and account info is).  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If it sticks sometimes, make sure that you are not setting to check messages too often (like every 3 minutes or somesuch).  You can also try to increase the timeout for the server where this is a problem (Tools |) Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced).  See if who deals with issues "" OE gel.  If Yes, then you can use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

    I do not know that moving to Outlook might solve the problem, because they both use the same mechanism to retrieve messages.  If you still have problems, come on and generate a log file and when OE freezes, which could give some indication of what is the underlying problem.  Make sure that you disable the log file later, because this file grows enormously and can cause problems if it becomes too large.

  • email error

    Can't send or receive messages for the. A timeout occurred during communication with the server.

    Server: 'mail.bigpond.com.
    Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC19
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 110
    Secure (SSL): No.

    I always get this error I use Windows Live mail on Vista Basic.what what this means and how can I rectify this.

    Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

    Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email
    http://thundercloud.NET/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

    Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

  • I have reception problems of the email on the account Windows Live - Server error: 0x800CCC90

    I am in England and I've seen problems of email - I can send emails but not receive.  Error msg is

    Can't send or receive messages for the account.

    Server error: 0x800CCC90
    Server response:-ERR timeout
    Server: 'mail.btinternet.com '.
    Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800420CD
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 110
    Secure (SSL): No.

    How this can be solved?

    Former title: I have reception problems of e-mail on the Windows Live account

    Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800420CD

    This means generally that there is a dubious message on the Server Windows Live Mail will not or can not download. Connect to the Web e-mail account and start by clearing out the junk mail folders and deleted .

    Then, create a new folder and move the contents of the Inbox to the new folder. Try to send/receive again in Windows Live Mail - it works now, or you see an error message? No new e-mail message should appear in the status bar.

    You can then return half of the messages to the new folder in the Inbox and then send/receive again in Windows Live Mail. Repeat until the error occurs, if you can identify any rogue message that won't download.

  • Why I can't email, but can't send?

    I can get emails throughout the day. Sending Emails is another story. I get an error 0x800CCC0B code. What does that mean?

    I've never heard of ashevillebit.com, and there is no literature on this subject.

    @Bruce

    This is an area justhost.com . The server (alias just93.justhost.com when I tried) responds on port 25, 26 and 587. 587 with sounds of authentication as a good choice to avoid any port 25 block.

    Error 0x800CCC0B means maildrop busy. Not easy to solve, but timeout increased and an increase of mark are two measures may be worth a try. It is the same server for POP3 and SMTP, as well as the port makes the distinction between different types of traffic.

  • Gateway Timeout

    We are still receiving calls and emails saying that a site is blocked from the page of the WSA poster for a time-out of the gateway is almost identical.  Is it possible to not having the WSA brand page timeout gateway?

    Hello

    In fact, you can personalized this page of blocking of the unit.

    Please see below the article to run it:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/email-security-applia...

    Once you have FTP the unit and go to the configuration folder, you can search for the file named "ERR_GATEWAY_TIMEOUT", this file is the block for gateway timeout page in the camera.

    You can be customized the page to use your own words, etc., or you can remove it.

    PS: If you have customized the page, all changes, please do not forget to 'validate' changes.

    However if you deleted this file, when traffic is gateway timeout, he uses the block of the browser page.

    "" [email protected] / * / "destination =". * » >

    Is THIS CORRECT?

    It'll work, but you should have the two unathenticated and authenticated covered calls.

    Given that all your calls seems to come from @VCS_IP, then you can block all destinations by using * instead of specifying the address. Below is part of the CPL I use and it works for me.

    You can test if the CPL works or not using the VCS-E "tool to locate."

    In addition, you must disable SIP UDP on the VCS-E unless you really need, as these scanners use UDP to find potential targets.

    (Time only I had to re-activate if I have to make a call using the host name where the VCS-E did a search of A DNS record instead of using "normal" SRV records.)

    If you have ISDN deployed gateways, then you should also seriously consider changing the prefixes you use, i.e. Add # to the prefix to break the dial string. For example if your prefix is 99 and you want to call 9912345678, then you dial 99 #12345678 instead.

    Also see the deployment guide for more information about these issues - step 16, page 41 in particular

  • Cannot send emails. Message says "sending message failed because the connection to the server outgoing (SMTP) has expired. Is the fault with Thunderbird or BT?

    Cannot send emails. Message says "unable to send message because the connection to the outgoing (SMTP) server has expired." By default the SMTP seems correct. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Oh, we still think. Using anti-virus software? It scans your outgoing messages? Try to turn off the power; It can slow down transmission in order to trigger a timeout on the server.

  • ISE 1.1 - switch ignores 'Session-Timeout '.

    Hi all

    I'm playing with the service to ISE customers and have some difficulties in function of time.

    After comments connects, the Radius attributes are sent to the switch (3750G) one of them is Session-Timeout, which should be similar to 1 h (DefaultOneHour)

    According to ISE logs and debugs switch, ISE has done well and this attribute has been sent but it seems that the switch simply ignores.

  • How can I get a list of all links/URLS used in all emails Eloqua?

    I try to have a report, list, or the export of all links/URLS never used in e-mail Eloqua (about 250) assets. Is there a quicker, more precise and perhaps automated to do this other than to pick up manually?

    Basically the desired result is a list of all links/URLS used in an Excel worksheet, additional information is a plus.

    If there are ways through the API, it is also welcomed.

    The Web site is subject to a few changes and we would like to keep all links living in them the remapping to the end server.

    Hi all

    First two ideas come to mind:

    1. go to Insight and run the Email clicks link ventilation report to see the links and clicks used in various emails. This will allow you to search for links to the last 730 days. However, note that if you have an abundance of links, the report may timeout. This is why the guests page, you may need to search specifically for a range of dates (month or two at a time) until you have all the expected results.

    2. using other APIs. The live docs for Rest API include the ability to search hyperlinks in emails. For instructions to access the direct documentation, see the Oracle Support Document 2078514.1 (how access rest and bulk API Live Docs) to: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2078514.1. Once inside the live docs do the following:

    • Click on liabilities
    • Click/assets/hyperlinks
    • Expand the Hypertext GET/assets/links
    • Entry 'Complete' in depth to make sure that you check out the URL for each hyperlink

    Let me know if it helps!

  • page automatic session timeout disconnection after inactivity of the user

    Hello gurus dreamweaver!

    Please how do I automatically my Member site Web page connection timeout after a period specifies the inactivity of the user.

    I discovered that is a member in my restricted page login and not forget to close your session, the page is will not disconnect automatically.

    How can I make my Web page, or automatically disconnect after a period specifies the inactivity of the user.

    See my below Member login page:

    <? php require_once('Connections/democon.php');? >

    <? PHP

    $logoutAction. = '& '. htmlentities($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']);

    }

    {If ((isset($_GET['doLogout'])) & & ($ {_GET ['doLogout'] == "true"))}

    to completely disconnect a visitor, you must delete the session varialbles

    .osgood_ ~.

    If the time-out period is applied to the side server, download links and others 'actions' all absolutely need to (and should) be run through validation. If there is a video completely downloaded on the screen there is only technology really client-side (JavaScript) which can detect if any action ' customer' is valid and within the time-out. I can think of scenarios 1 million and 1 million responses for each of them but finally if the user performs an action, or directly by refreshing PHP via AJAX, he should be hitting a side script server, and this time-out will decide last spring if the action is allowed or not. There all be wired through it.

    That said, although I said it is not 100% reliable and can be falsified, I would absolutely use a JavaScript (preference) or a refresh meta technique to bounce off the side of the customer as well as the logic in the back-end. The back-end is the absolute goal keeper and as you say, it would be little course if this isn't the case. The client side only decorate but is very important for a good user experience.

    piece gear ~

    Just $0.02, but you shouldn't go off with the stand-alone example code that I gave. In this scenario, I was 'definition' which, in your case, is of $_SESSION ['MM_Username"]. It had not been previously assigned. If Dreamweaver is the filling with a string and try try to reassign to one object (as I am) you will get errors. My code has been created as a completely isolated example, do not follow quite literally here as a paste - in the solution. I just need to know your level of comfort with PHP.

    I have not scanned all of this code for the PHP quality nor do I confess that I am familiar with the automation than Dreamweaver, but I'm very familiar with PHP, so it's the portion of code only from your original post with my timestamp amendment added to this. As mentioned, duplicate the file if you have your old code intact (still, or better, use git or SVN and version it). Then try to remove the part of the code of this page in replace with this:

     0)
      $MM_referrer .= "?" . $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'];
      $MM_restrictGoTo = $MM_restrictGoTo. $MM_qsChar . "accesscheck=" . urlencode($MM_referrer);
      header("Location: ". $MM_restrictGoTo);
      exit;
    }

    if (!function_exists("GetSQLValueString")) {
      function GetSQLValueString($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "")
      {
      if (PHP_VERSION < 6) {
        $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc() ? stripslashes($theValue) : $theValue;
      }

      $theValue = function_exists("mysql_real_escape_string") ? mysql_real_escape_string($theValue) : mysql_escape_string($theValue);

      switch ($theType) {
        case "text":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "long":
        case "int":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? intval($theValue) : "NULL";
          break;
        case "double":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? doubleval($theValue) : "NULL";
          break;
        case "date":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "defined":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? $theDefinedValue : $theNotDefinedValue;
          break;
      }
      return $theValue;
      }
    }

    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    // define your idle max, in seconds
    define('IDLE_MAX', 5);

    // if we already have $_SESSION['MM_Username'], let's check a timestamp
    if (isset($_SESSION['MM_Username']))
    {
      // if we get here, we're logged in.. check or add a timestamp
      if (isset($_SESSION['timestamp']))
      {
        // we have a timestamp, let's see if it exceeds our idle threshold
        if ((time() - $_SESSION['timestamp']) > IDLE_MAX)
        {
          // we have EXCEEDED our idle, we are therefore going to log out.
          // Using the assigned variable from above:
          header($logoutAction);
          exit;
        }//if idle exceed
        else
        {
          // idle is not exceeded, allow the user to continue but UPDATE timestamp
          $_SESSION['timestamp'] = time();
        }

      }// if timestamp
      else
      {
         // we have a username but no timestamp, must be initial login
         $_SESSION['timestamp'] = time();
      }

    }//if MM_Username

    //-------------------------------------------------------------------------

    $colname_Recordset1 = "-1";
    if (isset($_SESSION['MM_Username'])) {
      $colname_Recordset1 = $_SESSION['MM_Username'];
    }
    mysql_select_db($database_democon, $democon);
    $query_Recordset1 = sprintf("SELECT * FROM portal WHERE idno = %s", GetSQLValueString($colname_Recordset1, "text"));
    $Recordset1 = mysql_query($query_Recordset1, $democon) or die(mysql_error());
    $row_Recordset1 = mysql_fetch_assoc($Recordset1);
    $totalRows_Recordset1 = mysql_num_rows($Recordset1);
    ?>

    Again, I've changed any of the logic of outside Dreamweaver removing closing/reopining tags PHP (not sure if the snippits need those, add as needed). I also removed the condition to start the session because it is completely unnecessary. It's literally everything, except the code see you near the end, surrounded by long comment lines-...

    Page has 2 points of basic input that I see, but no matter how many there. The logic is simple enough. If at the time wherever you arrive at my code, you have Dreamweaver validate a user, $_SESSION ['MM_Username'] will be defined. If that's true then I check a timestamp. Is there then the user was literally just connected, so I add a timestamp. Whenever the page is refreshed from there, re - run all the code, the timestamp is checked to make sure that it is below your IDLE_MAX (in seconds). I put it to 5 again to be clear. If the time is greater than 5 seconds since the logon, I use the above global defined $logoutAction and redirect you to the sign-out process which should land in login.php on the next redirection, as long as a user logged on.

    I always try to use the code that already exists and do nothing useless, but I must assume from this code that no information is sent to the browser for display in this code. A redirect to the header() function will not work if this is not the case. I don't "see" anything here which is explicitly doing just that so I guess it will work fine. Please give him a simple test and season to taste.

    No matter what the user is trying to do, if the idle time is exceeded the sign-out process is up on them at all times. No matter if they refresh, back, etc.

  • Groovy http requests timeout

    If I do the http request models groovy by setting the fetch URL and content of class, is - can I change default timeout values.

    Here is the excerpt from groovy example:

    def content = url.getText)

    This works well if the server is not available or if the application gives any kind of error. However, if this connection time-outs, it is quite play my alert models. Finally the HQ template engine will notice that there is long-term, methods, but it will take too long. I want to just make sure that this model is run within 10 seconds.

    If anyone wants to know why I'm doing the HTTP alert model, short here's answer. I have an external knowledge (wiki) database to store alert documents. Here, I'm just trying to attach certain documents to emails that HQ sends to users.

    It's groovy kind of problem. Does anyone know of any workaround for this problem?

    Hi Janne,

    I do not know how to set the timeout... I guess it's the price to pay for convenience when using these Groovy shortcut methods.

    You simply need to do the old-fashioned way.  As an alternative, HQ is delivered with Commons-httpclient, so you can also use it if you need finer grain size control settings and connection settings.
