  When I compose an email (hotmail), spelling errors are not displayed/underlined. Hotmail says it's the browser that performs the audit. And yes I checked the option of automatic spell check in Options / Advanced.

• With LR 3.4.1 my keywords are not saved to the file

  Since upgrading to LR 3.4.1 my keywords are more saved in files, so I can't see them in an external application. If I go back to LR 3.3 it works OK. Any ideas?

  External drives often have special ACL on them which can cause problems for some applications to access. All it takes is for Lr change how it accesses files and file metadata (even a change that make it more "correct" - that is, a bug for another problem fix) and he can discover the problems of ACL.

  I don't know what you would have to do on Windows, but on a Mac, I would make sure that the drive is set up to be "shared" so there additional special ACLs on this subject that allow to take ownership.

  But, you want to start at the root of the drive, and reset the ACL (NOT only "permissions" which are older, simulated and incomplete parameters and making sure that recursion through the entire folder structures) as owner/creator and administrators have full control. There may be some other required special ACL if you want to share this album with different users on different computers. This part, I'm not familiar with, but it is often on Windows support sites. Quick eye or people with similar problems with remote disc for Windows services.

  Remember, if you have a login on two different machines to Windows (assuming you don't have some sort of connection to the network) it is technically two different users (even if they have the same name).

  You try to apply a patch WebCenter MLR oracle_common home:

  Oracle home: \Oracle_CS\Middleware\oracle_common

  I don't have the RLM 5 or 6 readily available readme, but I MLR4: it says:

  2 pre-installation instructions

  a. set the ORACLE_HOME to ECM home environment variable.

  The default location is: "[MW_HOME] / Oracle_ECM1".

  You must read and follow the patch readme to make sure you are running the patch correctly and in the right place. Also, some patches have specific pre and/or post installation steps. You cannot go rogue on a patch process.

• Does not connect with the e-mail server after update.

  Thunderbird ran an auto update yesterday. Then it just stopped working. It does not connect with the Comcast email server. An error message appears "Unable to connect" and "the connection was refused when attempting to contact live.mozilla.messaging.com. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall for fear of losing my emails and address book. How can we get Thunderbird set, there is no tool in the toolbar to enable the debugging and correction of program errors.

  The problem solved itself, Thunderbird has just started working. I followed the thread suggested by Christ1 and found none of it applied. No malware, no browser, no certificate error security block. I did, however, in Thunderbird, under Tools/Options/General uncheck the button for "When Thunderbird launches, show the Start Page in the message box." I do know that if this helped, Thunderbird still do not access Comcast mail for hours after that, even with several stops and restarts.

  Send yourself and see if you get the message.  Also, see if you can access your e-mail account via webmail and see if outgoing messages are received from webmail.  You can also contact your mail service provider and ask them.

  Several people have sent emails and bounced them by saying that the outgoing message was not given by me. I'm in email storage limit and don't receive any email advising me of this. Can you please help?

  The bounce message will explain why the message was not delivered. Mail servers are variously good to prepare the delivery reports (NDR) returned to the sender in a Notification DSN (Delivery Status), but the agreed formula is something like this:

  Received-from-MTA: dns; smtp1
  Arrival date: Monday, October 10, 2011 12:34:56-0100

  Your correspondents should find in the headers of the DNS; It can also be attached as a small text file called, perhaps, att.dat. The last line says (more or less enigmatic) what the problem is.

  Hi, I use an old address of e-mail fsnet.co.uk and my broadband provider is talktalk.  Only this week just stopped it working and I cannot work out why.

  I get no error at all and it seems that it sends mails and is very well receive emails (apart from when I try to send myself).

  I have windows 8 and had a lot of problems last year, but it has been fine since.

• Some Menu settings are not saved in the library

  I need help with some aspects of the recording menu in Encore CS5. At this point, I can create menus using still and Photo Shop. I set the Routing button (unchecked the selection automatically Route buttons on the properties > Standard tab). I set the Menu color scheme (by selecting the Menu by default in the drop-down color menu). As, in library, I created a new Menu Set, and I saved these new menus (as a template file and as a content auto model) it. I intend to use these menus in family films 38

  "Here's my problem: when I import these menus from the library again to the project, they appear with"Automatically of the road buttons"and with parameters ' set color:" automatic ". I have to set the button routing from scratch, and even if I change the automatic default Menu color settings, default Menu setting the value of the color is not what I put for these menus until I exported to the library.

  So far, my only solution is to create a "skeleton" with a main Menu and a submenu project and use it as a starting point to build each of the 38 films. The menus in this skeleton project - of course - keep their settings. (My problem with this method is that I already have 22 almost finished films where I just love to replace with these new menus and menus the way is not by the color of the Menu setting and re-routing every time, or begin to build the project again from scratch.)

  It could be something very simple to solve this problem - or not! . If there is, I would be very happy to hear.

  I upgraded to Firefox 4, and now he wants me to save tabs on exit. According to the Firefox help I renamed formhistory.sqlite formhistory.sqlite.bak and sessionstore.js to sessionstore.js.bak, but that did not help.

  1. Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
  2. Go to the general Panel
  3. Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

• BlackBerry smartphones can not connect to the e-mail server

  The first time at the forum hope it will be useful.

  I got a Blackberry by a friend (who was already on an Orange Mobile contract) and I swapped my Orange SIM in the Blackberry. Note: I don't have existing e-mail accounts set up on my previous phone.

  The phone works very well (calls, WiFi + 3G navigation) but I have been unable to set up my email. When I try to do this by using the Setup Wizard (and click e-mail SETTINGS), I get the following error message:

  -     " ? Your camera has a problem connecting to the server. Try AGAIN or CANCEL.

  .. .so is probably a matter of settings. However, when I picked up the phone at the local Orange store, they were unable to help me.

  Any ideas?
