Embedded flash/html5 video question

Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help.

1 - is possible to play videos html5 without OS 2 controls showing next to clock (I know that I can display controls in the player in the app itself)

2 - during playback of video flash from a playbook remote address (e.g. youtube) stays on, if I integrate swf file locally playbook goes out (backlight & Eve) even if the video game. Is it possible to keep the playbook on playback of local swf files?

hope that makes sense, thanks for any help... Since faffing around everyday.

Don't know what version of device/OS refer you to but for PB or BB10 to answer question 1: right now it seems that we will see the same functionality to implement controls in the bar near the clock, PB and BB10. Maybe an OS, PB, inspires others, BB10? I also think that the HTML5 media API should follow the implementation of devs, so if you set the

HTML5MediaObject.controls = false;

It should also display the controls in the top next to the clock bar. I think it would be a good point to file a feature request for the repo for PlayBook or BB10.

2nd Mmmh), has never worked with flash on mobile and I can not wait day for audio/video flash is chased out of the mobile OSs since HTML5 media is already there. On the other hand, this looks like a bug to me. Perhaps, you must also file a report with the framework of PB?

Protected mode Flash Player on Firefox 32 bit is an important defense against malware. You greatly increase your risk of infection by disabling.

You'd be much, much better of is either Firefox 64-bit for Windows, which includes a native NPAPI plugin sandbox (we use the Firefox sandbox instead of the one that we had to renovate Firefox 32 bit), or another browser.

You can find the beta of Firefox 64-bit here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/all/

  • How to do HTML5 videos works again?

I've recently updated for Firefox 35 and now HTML5 videos will not work. I have NoScript, but disabling or removing it does not solve the problem. Switching in safe mode does not solve the problem. The problem is solved using a fresh profile or removing the prefs.js file, but this is not an option for me, as all my settings from scratch would be tedious hassle with that I wouldn't rather deal with restoration.

I know that the problem is with the update for Firefox 35 precisely because everything was working fine before and stopped working after. To be absolutely certain, I turned on my laptop that had the exact same extensions and settings imported to it from this computer with FEBE earlier. He used the 34.0.5 version and all was well with this version. I tested it with the site of the vine, all the videos worked. It also downloaded the update for Firefox 35 in the background and as soon as I restarted, the HTML5 videos were broken.

It's certainly something that Mozilla has changed but I forgot to change/remove an old framework which is scrub place works. If I could just figure out which lines in the prefs.js file was causing the problem, I would delete/change myself in Notepad.

For the record, I already had media.windows - media - foundation.enabled set to false. Videos that use Flash seem to work. I think Vimeo using HTML5, but it is the site of Flash videos not only that I could find that still works. Flash and Java have been updated the most recent versions.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

As I said, safe mode does not solve the problem. He is not one of my extensions. I tried to disable hardware acceleration earlier, but wasn't it no more.

Your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time you start Firefox.
The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.

It has only these two lines:
    user_pref ("protocol - handler.warn - external .dnUpdate", false);
    user_pref ("browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash", false);

Sure they are related to the extension, so I don't touch them.

There the prefs of media who do not by default?

    • Media.*. Enabled

As I said, media - media.windows - foundation.enabled is set to false and it was the only entry with this search term that was not established by default. I changed to true and restarted and it fixed everything. Funniest, however, do the opposite was a solution proven for people with this problem in the past. This site says to do. You have said to do! https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/961627

So, anyone read this for future use, you may or may not have changed this setting later in 2013. Firefox 35 requires you to change back. Problem solved.

  • HTML5 video widgets does not

I seem to have some problems with most of the html5 and Muse video widgets. One of these widgets of Muse-themes, musepen, 123muse, QooQee do not load the videos and videos are not visible when you preview the site or after the publication of the site. This seems to be a new problem that I had no such problem in the past.

The video widget full width of Muse-themes doesn't seem to take herself. If I add a video widget from musepen on the same page, then to that of Muse-themes is load.

When I add my mp4 and my webm files, I get always an error message that the video can not be charged due to network issue or because the format is not supported, or it shows loading but never play in preview. I tried all browsers with the same result.

After hours of trying, I managed to somehow get the widget from mnusepen playing on all the browsers on your desktop (Mac). However, the video does not play on iPad (Safari or Chrome). Is just a blank page. Ditto for Chrome on Android phone.

Support of the muse tells me that they offer no support for these widgets, and they have no solution to the problem. I don't know what is happening and how to fix this problem. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

  • help please on HTML5 video basic

I have a website with lots of videos embedded using the plugin method. However, not google Chrome and Apple Safari don't play well.

I would like to know if there is a simple way to convert a page like this:

Holiday travel HD high-definition Canon HF G10 of video of big island of hawaii Keith Waddo Waddington

The links "look at the short video" to a simple page with a frame and integrated .mov video. Now it shows just a missing plugin icon.

I can easily edit this page? because I have a lot of similar.

    Also:

I watched a few videos and they all show choose "HTML5 Video" of the common insert component. However, my component insertion does not include this even thought I use CS6! My list includes only the anchor link hyperlink e-mail etc. I even created a new empty HTML page and always the choice never understand HTML5 video.

So why does HTML5 video choice not appear in my component insertion/common?

Thanks for those who took the time to read this. If it is not quite obvious, my Dreamweaver skills are very basic.

These HTML5 options have been added in the clouds CS6. They were never part of the perpetual license version, that's why you don't have them.

    To use html5

You will need at least 2 versions of each video to cover all modern browsers, .mp4 and .ogg or .webm. You can use this online converter for the file types you need: online video converter

  • How does the new HTML5 video Support? and what are the limits?

If the new benefit has been relased as well as many new features, including the video support HTML5 then with the new feature, here are a few new questions!

How Edge to load the video? It is fully preloaded before Edge shows the content? Or is it more of a pregressive 'youtube' loading while playing?

    Or can choose us?

What is the example of recommended video file size 4 MB?

How does edge deal with browsers that only support .ogg or .webm instead of mp4?

What about ISO & tablets support? loading time, 'delay', etc.?

When you import an audio or video file, a group is created for you. You can import media with the same name (videosample.ogv; videosample.mp4) this group for compatibility with browsers. The corresponding format is chosen according to the browser which is in charge of the composition.

About the WebM format - you can also add a webm file in your publication. However since it is a format of royalty, Animate will not display a live preview in the authoring tool. If your browser supports this then it will definitely play fine on the browser preview.

You can take a look at the video lesson In - app, which is available in the Panel of lesson for more details on how it works.

And Yes, you have options to preload for HTML5 video too, however progressive download is not available. You will need to use scripts using JS to achieve this functionality.

Hope this helps and try this out.

  • FMS 4 HTTP dynamic streaming in the HTML5 < video > tag

We recently bought FMS4 and I'm in the middle of the implementation. However, not that it's a HUGE deal, but...

I see conflicting answers in the forums on if yes or not it is possible to stream multimedia content in the < video > tag HTML5 (dating back to early 2010).

Ideally, I would like to stream (most of the time using the flash), but for specific browsers that support it, (chrome, ff, IE9 and select iOS devices) HTML5 video tags.

For example, FMS 4 can do that?

< the video id = 'something' controls = "orders" >

    "< source src ="http://video.mydomain.com/vod/myMovie.mp4"type =" video/mp4; codecs = "avc1.42E01E, mp4a.40.2" "/ >"

    <!--[if IE]>

< object > blah, blah, blah

    blah blah blah < embed > < / embed >

    < / object >

    <![endif]-->

    < / video >

If so, how? I gave it a shot using the code above (less the "blah, blah, blah' ) and the video plays not - if it is the case, it's a syntax error, then please be so kind as to provide the correct syntax.

However, if this is not possible unless you download something else, like file HTTP streaming package manager or the module for HTTP Dynamic Streaming origin... Please direct me accordingly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you kindly in advance.

No.... for files, you can use progressive via apache.

  • Flash 8 video in Flash 7

I have a Web site server that requires files SWF Flash 7 (MX2004). I need to create some videos these flash files. Given that I can't buy the video plugin case flast 7, I'm upgrading some systems to Flash 8 (Studio 8) which includes video production for flash. STIL waiting for the software to arrive. In the maentime for planning and feasibility, these videos (flash 8) can be imported into a 7 flash file (.fla)? If so, do I need to know something specific to export video to flash 8 video for use in a file (.fla) flash 7?

    Gotcha.

    > (May not make sense, it's simply a business rule).

No, no, it's fine. :) Your original post made me think the server
itself does not support Flash 8 SWFs. That's what had confused me.

    > When you say "only the shorter videos" how long is too "
    > long. 1 minute too much to integrate?

Ultimately, it depends on the kind of audience that you expect to have.
If it is internal, it is likely that your audience can expect to have a
very fast connection. However, by keeping the external files FLV, SWF file
itself can be kept very small, and can stream videos or gradually
Download as needed. If the FLV file is literally embedded in the SWF, SWF file
which weighs more. If the SWF file contains a menu that allows viewers to see the
video, but users are not to choose the part of the menu, they always
Download the heavy SWF. If the FLV file is * not * included and they choose
not to select the part of the menu, they only had a smaller download
    file.

    Yes.

He will need to run Flash Media Server, which is a costly
    product.

Progressive download is your ticket, then. In concept, this really isn't
very different from referencing a JPG file from an HTML page. With external
FLV, SWF weighs less, loads faster, and even with a progressively
FLV, download experience * feels * like streaming to the end user.

How to you turn off auto-play the HTML5 videos in Safari?

I speak not of advertising videos. It seems that there is a new trend that sites add the AutoPlay videos as part of their normal textual content. It's really annoying to try to read the article and have this semi-connexes video game.

Is there a Safari Extension or a hidden setting I'm not about to stop video AutoPlay altogether?

Today, I watched a video from Amazon in Safari 9.1.1 under El Capitan on my MacBook. Amazon played using Silverlight plug-ins, I had installed. However, a box came up that said the video would improve if I uses its HTML5 video player, that he says is compatible with Chrome (M42 version or newer), Firefox (version 47 or more recent), Edge Microsoft Internet Explorer (11 or newer on Windows 8.1 and later), on Windows 10 and Opera (version 31 or more recent).

  • Play HTML5 video with JavaScript does not hide the overlay dimming video

I googled this problem and found nothing useful and also checked the area of support here and still nothing. I'm creating a webpage with HTML5 video. I made a layer with the video object that is hidden with CSS, until the user clicks on a link. When the user clicks on the link, I use a JavaScript function to display and play the HTML5 video object. Works fine except that Firefox keeps the overlay in place play button while playing my video! If I click on the overlay, the video stops. Then if I click again, the overlay disappears and the video resumes playback.

I realize there are solutions that can be pirated. But it is certainly a bug that the rest overlay in place after the start of the video via a JavaScript command. I hope that this problem finds its way to the right people at Mozilla for resolution.
