  I had problems to install this game as well.
  The error occurred to me was that the program was not installed for all users.
  I found a solution to:
  1. go to computer > C: and the option to display hidden items.
  2. after a hidden folder named ProgramData will appear.
  3. then you should go ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > StartupMenu > programs.
  4. When you are in that folder you just create another folder named Microsoft Games.
  5. inside of this new folder, you create another one named Age of Empires III
  6. now just try to reinstall.
  It worked for me on Windows 8, I hope it helps someone.

  Star Wars Battlefront 2 is compatible with Windows 2000\XP.  You will need to contact the game manufacturer and find out if they will have a update\patch that will make it compatible with Windows 7.  You can try to run the game in Windows XP compatibility mode and see if that helps.
