Empty the Trash: file > empty trash should work in any view, not only the display of the trash

38.3.0 W8.1, W10
It is probably an enhancement request...

Often, I emptied the Recycle Bin. There are 3 things I would like to improve.
(1) I have to switch to the display of the trash, then on the file menu, select file > empty trash. I should be able to do this from any view.
(2) the trash is not visibly withdrawn my trash review - I have to move the mouse up and down the display of the trash and then items visibly disappear.
(3) I would like to be able to put a button in the toolbar to remove all the waste rather than having to go to the file menu.

I've been using Thunderbird is probably 3 + years old and it has been very reliable, I think it's a good product. Updates work fine.
Thank you

Nigel

I wish I could put a button in the toolbar to remove all the waste rather than having to go to the file menu.

Install this add-on.

  • A little confused RGD. What file/copy I should work with

I'm afraid so it's a beginner, yet it is leaving me a bit puzzled: having found a photo in the library view that I want a few others work on, should I - in principle - create a virtual copy and do all my changes to it? I mean, just to make sure that the original file will be always available in my LR library. What workflow you people out there go with about these things?

    Thanks in advance,

    OLE k,

    Norway.

OLE, it comes an EXCELLENT beginning, because there are probably people who do this, and it is NOT necessary.  Not with Lightroom.  Here's why.  With Lightroom, each edition you is considered "non-destructive".  This means that you can always come back at first before you start editing, or halfway through.  (And besides, to get back to the point, look at the history in the left column.  Click on one of these lines, and your image is restored to this point.)  This is true even if you return to the image in Lightroom not only this same session edition, but three years from now.

In other photo software, you can't easily return after you save an image and close the editing session.  But with Lightroom, this isn't a problem because you're not 'save' images in published reports.  The program keeps the original of your file and an always updated list of changes that have been made to him automatically saved for you.

Just for security reasons, you should have at least another copy of the image unedited somewhere else, preferably in a different physical location where your PC is stolen or bursts into flames, or whatever.  Lightroom offers this option (which you should if you import from a camera or a memory card) when you import.  If you already have the file saved somewhere else, you don't need to do again when importing.

What is a virtual copy for? Maybe you want to make prints of two different cultures - or two different exposures - or other variable - the same image.  You can have a virtual copy and keep the two in the library.  Sometimes I want to experiment with how things work in Lightroom and I always pay attention in this case to remove my virtual copy (and I am careful to check this is the one I am removing) when I'm through experimentation.  I could go back to the place - it is just as safe - but it helps me to remember exactly where I was when I started to experiment.

  • FieldChangeListener - should work, but it is not

  • I am curious about OEM vs. retail and retail sales are expensive but OEM work on any pc or only specific PC

I have a question for OEM, my computer is a HP pavilion ze2000 since 2004 there windows 10 pro about it right now but it has not enabled which means no product key so im going to buy sp1 windows 7 pro 32 bit from a seller on amazon called MC OUTLETS:

    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/AW/d/B014E4FBCO/ref=mp_s_a_1_13?QID=1461169711&SR=8-13&PI=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=Windows+7

and I don't know if I should buy the OEM because one seller sells me is maybe not for my brand of pc and I want to be sure what im buy so I don't waste money, buy windows 7 which can be for lets say dell and I have a hp so I don't get stuck with the purchase of this product just to get the product key , so I can reinstall windows 10 must be enabled. And please don't tell me to buy the commercial version because I do a lot of cash right now I can only which means that ONLY afford OEM please tell if this seller is legitimate and if this product would work on my brand of pc which is a HP pavilion ze2000

I wouldn't recommend that you buy from a dealer, especially the amazon market place.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)

  • {tag_name_nolink} Works in list view, not retail?

No idea why {tag_name_nolink} would work for the list view (that is to say: 'My Web App Title élément'), but make it like "{tag_name_nolink}" in the retail model?

    < h3 > {tag_name_nolink} < / h3 > {tag_name_nolink} generates in detail rather than the name of point of application.

    Thank you!

    Brian

Because {tag_name} does not generate a link automatically in the detail view. There is nothing to put a link from there.

  • I want to see the full size of the .swf on the slide of the view, not only the thumbnail edition

    Hello!

I have a very nice PPT I created and I tried everthing to bring the files to get the best quality = not easy.

What I found to be the best thing is to publish the PPT file to the presenter and then you have a .swf for each slide that looks really clear!

The problem is, I want to use these images as my slide layouts, and then add a few things to Captivate from there. Problem - the .swf files appear in the really small thumbnail view in the editing of Catpivate mode! How can I see them in their real size, as how view you a JPG or something in Captivate.

    Thank you!!

  • How can I view not only mail to one account only, but in the Central Inbox?

I change my mail OSX (machines with OSX 1.8.5 and Mavericks) to Thunderbird.

However, a feature of OSX Mail I can't find in Thunderbird or supervised it:

I use several e-mail accounts, OSX Mail shows me to the next level in a general Inbox.

Below this level, I can jump of course in different accounts if necessary to read the mails only related to this account.

Is there a similar view in Thunderbird?

    Thanks for any help

As mentioned in the article, you can use unified under IMAP folders.

  • I have lost my Windows XP Professionsla installation disc that came with computer and I see the message asking me to insert disk 3 to reinstall the files. What should I do?

I lost the Windows Professional disc that came with the computer. I get a pop up requires me to insert the disc 3 of which I don't have the installation disc. Even if I try to do a system restore I need the disk. I can't lose information that is on the computer and do not have an external drive. What should I do?

There is no disc 3 of Windows XP Professional.  Windows XP (other Media Center if I remember well) was a CD.

Please copy the message down verbatim - including the title bar - and who post here.

You can move this pop-up window on the side and also do all the following - in the order given anything of it periodically, you're already doing...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

If you are comfortable with the stability of your system, you can delete the uninstall of patches which has installed Windows XP...

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

I just installed DW 13.2.  Linked files (all CSS, scripts...) "are not on the local disk" - all works in CS6. Help...

When I insert one of the page of the Web site, it shows in the design window.  But when I try to bring any document linked in the left window, code, it is empty and the message says: "whatever.css is not on the local drive.  Also, when I click on LIVE, the file looks like she does not see the file CSS, no images.

The same site looks and works OK in the DW CS6.

    I'm on Maverick - 2012 Mac Pro - 2 x 2.66 12-core, 64 GB of RAM.

I configured the same way as CS6 preferences.  Same location of the site, same links.

Am I missing something?  What should I do?  I uninstalled the DW CC, cleaned pref and installed it again.  Same question.

    Help, please.

I think, I solved the problem, but I still think that the Dreamweaver does not recognize the addresses.

I then drive CC_A BB_A Web sites (these are the actual names of the readers).  It's always the disk 'data', apart from the OS, but with a different name.  everything works.  Opening files referred to in the script window, 'live' works as supposed.

I can only speculate that readers 'CC_A' name has confused the program called CC.

I can find no other explanation, since, in addition to the name of the drive - everything else is the same.

    Thanks for trying to help.

If you're like me and upgraded your iMac that came with a cd/dvd drive internal... so he has to come out to give way to the fusion or the SSD drive, do NOT buy the apple superdrive.  It will work with your computer!
