  There is no such thing as a pilot for ODD (optical disc drive). It uses the standard Microsoft driver. Try please remove the disc from the Device Manager, then restart the laptop. After reboot the ODD will be detected and installed it again. Check please if the problem persists.

  If yes I recommend you to install the driver for DVD-RAM (DVDForm Utility). You can find it on the download page of Toshiba. I use the 3.0.9.0a version. and it works perfectly.

  1. exe application file compiled from a VI. This VI connects to the MyRIO via network flow.

  2 labview runtime engine

  3 driver for the USB LAN unit MyRIO.

  First 2 steps succeeded, and the VI communicates with the device via WiFi MyRIO. However, I would like to connect trough USB and need a driver on the host machine. Installation of a complete driver package is certainly an overdose for this occasion.

  After all, I found the file msi corresponding to the LAN drivers on the DVD myRIO. There is a separate driver for win XP, that does not work on my Win 7 64 machine. The following file actually worked very well "NiRio_USBLAN64.msi" with the associated cab file. Without the rest of the CompactRIO drivers it does not appear as MyRIO, but as a generic USB LAN adapter device. Connections work properly, exactly what I was looking for :-).

  The bad news is that when you create an installer in the construction specifications, the .msi files are not considered as executable files and can not be integrated in a single installation procedure. Students will have to make several more clicks.

  I also noticed that CompactRIO drivers can be integrated into Setup completely, which facilitates the procedure, but adds an another 150 MB to the installer against the 3.5 MB for only the LAN driver.

  As far as I know that there is no actual work around to install a printer on a system that is not supported. Installing 990c drivers should have given you the ability to print.   This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated!   In my case it worked and this driver has added some additional options that I would change in the Synaptics touchpad settings
