EMULATORS

I have a Dell XP I have emulators on. I just got a Toshiba with Windows 7 Home and tried to download the same emulators. They download without problems, but they do not open or play. I'm doing something wrong? Help, please. Thanks in advance.

Try running in compatibility mode for XP or Vista.

Right-click on the emulator, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab to get there. It would also help if you told us what emulators that you use.

Anyone has properly installed and used an emulator of sliding (of 3dfx graphics API) in Windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit, with any game?

Second, no matter which successfully installed and executed game King's Quest 8 in Windows 7, with or without support Glide? Yes, it's old, but...

I tried to run the game in virtual environments with mixed OS (Win98, WinXP) and generally unsatisfactory results so hoping that someone else has already paved the way for this in Win7.

Finally tried. Installed 64-bit Windows 7, this game doesn't quite work. Crashes just after the initial startup screen, with or without installed emulators.

Hello, I do not know if everyone knows the ROM & emulators but, I need help with an old favourite N64 called Mario 64 that is running on the emulator Project64, I can record an APR or a DAT file but I can not load the saved file when I run the game again. There is an error window that appears saying (the file logon attempt failed) if anyone knows how to do this would be appreciated, thanks a lot!

    (1) other games works fine on the emulator even?
If so, then game file is corrupted.

I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the emulators and check if the problem persists.

  • Application of emulators calculator hp classic for WebOS

Never is better made than the hp1x line calculators.  My favorite was the hp11c, which I've owned for nearly 30 years and which serves me well today.  Long abandoned by hp, they still regularly sell on ebay for more than $200 (twice the original price, not to mention inflation!).  But now we are in a new era and RPN calculators are hard to find.

Recognizing their popularity and eventually bowing to the fact 3 Parties provided simulators/emulators of these wonderful devices, Hewlett Packard has started selling emulators for several models for iPhone.  (see http://www.macworld.com/article/141364/2009/06/hpcalcapps.html)  Now that HP owns Palm, it would be really wonderful if they would bring this range of products for WebOS.  PLEASE, I BEG YOU!   And it would be even better if they understood a hp11c emulator in the offerings.

    Thank you.

  • How to test the SMS listener using 2 emulators in SDK5 running Windows 7

Hi all. Writing a SMS listener I want to test. But can someone please pass me how I can configure the SDK BB 5 (not the Eclipse plugin) running on Windows 7, so that I can send a test SMS from an emulator to another to see what is happening in the debugger. Thank you so much as always.

Found answer in another post from Kanaksony. His response has been to make the source and destination for even 1 emulator ports. His post was:

You need to sms-source port and sms-destination ports even in Simulator. Go to JDE-> Edit-> preferences-> tab-> port sms-source Simulator: 21316 and port destination sms: 21316

  • conversion of old Clarisworks and Appleworks documents

I have old Clarisworks and Appleworks, documents dating back to 2004 are now Unix executable files. How can I access them.  I work currently in Yosemite and that MS Word.

The icon of the "Unix Exécutable" file simply means that OS X doesn't know what app to associate these files, then it will link to the unix shell because the PI is set to their attributes. It doesn't mean they 'changed' as such.

It would have been much easier to migrate these files ages ago: AppleWorks was "killed" by Apple in 2007, and he stopped work on the Lion OS and upward.

It also depends on what type of files you have.

Text documents and spreadsheets stored in AppleWorks 6 should be opened in page numbers and Apple applications, respectively. Before text documents that will probably suffice to be opened in a text editor, such as TextEdit (or the free TextWrangler), and then the cut raw text in the 'noise' that represents the formatting of the AppleWorks. You will be very happy if you can get 5 AppleWorks and ClarisWorks spreadsheets to open in anything - the same for drawings and other types of documents.

Your alternative is to find someone who has a Mac running Snow Leopard, on which they can run AppleWorks 6.2.9, then to open and convert all your documents to other formats. Another option is to use one of the "Classic" Mac emulators, like Sheepshaver, to mimic the environment of Mac OS 9 and run AppleWorks there, then convert all.

Document formats that are not widely used or open standards are prone to become totally useless if you have no application to read. Once an application becomes not supported and requires really old hardware and OS versions, then you must start the migration to a more durable format.

  • First HP Calculator virtual missing mfc120u.dll error since upgrading to version 1.21.8151.102

The first HP Virtual calculator will not start since the last update (version 1.21.8151.102). A windows system error window appears when you attempt to start the calc virt, saying: "the program can't start because mfc120u.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. »

Needless to say that "resettlement" has not fixed the problem. It is clear from research that the specified DLL is associated with related debug versions if you wonder if the last version was poorly built? Does anyone else have this problem? Any solution of HP? I had to go back to my "shipped" version that is less than optimal. It has been no problem so far with my device real first HP since the last update of the firmware so phew... but the virtual calc is very convenient when working on the PC with the code.

I am running windows 7 64 bit - all the latest updates applied to MS etc had no problem until this version of the vCalc

    A possible scenario:

    • During installation, the 64-bit OS is recognized and installed the 64-bit version of the redistributable.
    • The emulator is probably a 32-bit version (compatibility, 32-bit programs usually work on 64-bit systems, but not vice versa).
    • There looking for the 32-bit version of the redistributable is not installed.

Note, this is one of the many possibilities in the world of software. However, the fact that 32-bit programs require the redistributable 32-bit and 64-bit programs require 64-bit redistributable is why I suggested to install both versions. It is not only useful for the HP emulators, but many other programs (this is why I have so many people already installed).

    Best regards.

  • NW238AA: Enter the program steps on an emulator of 30 HP b

    I'm a fan of HP since the HP-25 and if I have a HP 48GX-too, the weeks I bought a HP 30 b, only to "recycle" in a WP-34s.
But before I do, I wanted to learn more about all the features of the new "business professional", for example, the difference between an old RPN stack and the stack-RPL (with an additional registry entry of 30 b) and: I want to write short, a little sophisticated programs.

To use these programs more far, I was happy to find the download URL for HP-30 b-Emulator (© 2009 Version 2012 12 10 Rev: 19045).
Although STI there is an "Emulator Help" available, I can't find it, how to manage a [shift-hold] [...] via the PC keyboard to enter the programming commands of the upper button 4-lines, e.g., Lbl, call, Stop, R/S, RTN and the wonderful SOLVE.

Thank you for helping me to deal with this problem!

I can't translate your note "caps-lock key is stupid" (in German)

Can you please express this sentence in several other (English) words?

    Thank you and best regards!

I think it was stupid to programmers to use the key for emulator equivalent to shift keyboard caps lock.

The shift of the keyboard button is generally used, and for the emulators with several SHIFT CTRL or Alt is used to shift the second function (for example on the 35s emulator the shift of the keyboard is orange calculator shift and Ctrl is calculator blue shift).

  • HP 35S EMULATOR

    To whom it my concern:

On this occasion I need your help. I found myself struggling with the HP 35s (http://www.hp.com/sbso/product/calculators-emulators/scientific-calculator-emulator.html) emulator. It works perfectly, but where is the manual? For example, I don't understand the WINDOW of TOOLS. The other windows:

CALCULATE: save, load, quick save and quick load (save and load what?)

EDIT: screenshot, reset the calculator (reset for what situation?)

Can you please help me with some explanations. A brief guide will be very grateful!

    Thank you in advance, Pedro

    Hello

There is no manual for the emulator itself (as you probably noticed, with aid only the manual for the calculator is available).

    In the FILE:

Save: saves the emualtor (as well as the keyed-in programs) State - ask for a name.

Charge: invited to load everything previously saved state of the emulator (including programs).

Save quickly creates a saved state of the emulator with the name default "quick record".

Fast charge: appears only if a quick record exists, load the existing quick registration

Check the update: check a HP Server for updates of the emulator.

    Exit: exit emulator

    EDIT:

Copy of the screen: a bitmap capture of the screen of the calculator

Given to zero Calculator: does nothing broken =. In an emulator older I have reset the emulator similar to RESET at the back of the real calculator.

    In the TOOL:

    Macros:

Records or re-plays a series of strikes. In the Macro menu, select new and give it a name and a description, and then press the required keys. When you are done, back to Macros and you will be asked to stop recording.

The macro is now visible in the Macro menu, select Play and the keystrokes will be processed. Note: the reading is very slow on my PC.

    Select skin:

Selects the displays for the calculator

    Options:

Skin and macros enabled check boxes determines whether the "Macros" or "Select an envelope" is available in the TOOL menu.

I don't know how the other options.

  • Pavilion 17-e020us: HP Pavilion 17-e020us card mother/processor upgrade Question

    Hello

I think to upgrade the motherboard on my HP Pavilion PC 17 - e020us.  The manual (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04069163.pdf) contains a list of supported processors, and I'm not sure that we choose.  The computer currently has a processor Intel Core i3 - 3110M with 10 64 - bit Windows.  I am deciding between the Intel Core i7-3632QM and the Intel Core i5 - 3230M processor (the processor TDP should be 35 w or I have to get a new power supply).  You can view a comparison between the two processors and the currently in the system here: http://ark.intel.com/compare/71670, 72056,65700.  Although the i7 has a lower base frequency, it has more hearts; the reverse is true for the i5.  Could you please tell me what CPU should I choose (I'll get the corresponding motherboard)?  Here are the main things I've done on the PC: web navigation on board or Chrome, using Microsoft Office and software development with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 (which means that I often use of the Tablet and mobile emulators to test my application - it means also I need to compile quickly and be good with graphics rendering (for design applications/Games)).

In addition, please could you me of those in the manual of the motherboard (34 in PDF of page, page is numbered 24 down to the left)?

Thank you very much to all who have responded.

    Hello

Normally we use the rule of 3 C to choose a processor. They are Cache, Core and clock. In this case, I'd choose processor 6 MB Cache. It also has more Core and clock is a little slower but a lot of applications, the slowdown factor is not processor but another factor, namely the HARD disk.

    Kind regards.

  • 50G and problem with integrals, new user.

Hello! I am a student in electrical engineering and I bought a 50G as my first graphing calculator, since that's what most teachers recommend here. I have colleagues who use the same who also make things a little easier, but I have almost no experience with it.
I serve the 49G and first emulators recently so get used to RPN, and while the first gives me the right answer, my physics 50 G and the emulator of 49 G give me something weird.

Well, if I'm trying to incorporate "exp (x ³) dx" for example, the calculator gives me "exp (x³t) dxt" on the screen.

Most of the integrals worked out of the box, but some have this exact same behavior.

Because the emulator of 49G and 50G physical give me the same thing, I suspect that it is just a matter of configuration. First emulator gives the answer however.

    Here a few photos:

    Then request EVAL:

    And 49G emulator:

Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

    Hi!, JVChrisostomo:

IMHO, you need use the RPN MODE.

    Configure...

    Number format... Difficulty 5

    Flags

    01 main value

    Function 03-> num

    Mode approx. 105 on

    Use EQW...

    The result is... 5.96394E91 or 5.96394 x 10 ^ 91 (takes approx. 7 "with EVAL)

Check, using Wolfram closest to you. Alpha interpretation:

    final integral(e^x^3,0,6)
