Enable GPU and Nvidia Geforce 730 Ray tracing

Bought this gpu (2 GB DDR5 Vram) of MSI GeForce N730K-2GD5LP/OCV1 (MSI Global).

Put in touch with the adobe wish form support center but don't have no answer yet!

Before you buy this card, I searched a lot and found somewhere on the system requirements for after effects CC 2014. It says any Nvidia Geforce 6 * 7 * supports after effects CC 2014.

Now, here, I've not seen any post is linked with the card Nvidia GT 730 or found it in the condition list!

I need to know if this card supports or not?

What should I do now?

Help me as soon as possible...

First of all, why do you want to use the ray-traced rendering engine? It is considered to be obsolete. It was a crappy way to do 3d in After Effects. And, if you do not use it to create the geometry of 3d in AE, it slowed just all way down.

If you want to do 3d in AE work, use the new and more powerful 3d solution that comes with AE or use a third-party plugin like 3-d element Zaxwerks Invigorator, courage, etc. - GPU needs ShapeShifter have nothing to do with the requirements of the renderer traced to the RADIUS. I'm sure that all three of them can use your GPU, but check the requirements before you buy anything.

Now, if you want to continue to use the old ray-traced rendering engine, this is the page with the requirements for the ray-traced rendering engine: after effects configuration required for Mac OS and Windows

Nowhere does N cards or GT (except one: GT 650 M). All cards are cards GTX or Quadro. Now, in AE CC 2014 and versions later, you can check the box to use unsupported cards in order to expedite the ray-traced rendering engine, so you can try it.

    Hello

I recently updated my iMac 2012 end of Maverick in Yosemite 10.10.1. The main function of the system is the graphic and video production using Adobe 2014 Creative Cloud application suite. It is equipped with a CUDA GPU of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB.

Adobe applications Yosemite before authorized update BOF CUDA accelerated makes. After the update to OS that it is no longer an option that I realized when I open an After Effects project and was informed that ray-tracing was more accessible and requires CUDA 5.0 or later.

This led me to download and try to update the correct GPU GeForce driver, which I believe this here:http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/81212

I downloaded and opened the package to start the installation and immediately received this message:

"Not supported by the computer. This computer is not compatible with the NVIDIA of the web driver. »

The platform OS Yosemite is incompatible with my GPU now? The operating system and GPU were previously in harmony. The accelerated rendering of CUDA is critical to my work. If possible, can I go back to Maverick?

Everyone knows about this problem? Am I just tried installing the wrong driver of GPU?

Thanks for your suggestions or leads.

I was looking for ot install and update the driver incorrect. I had updates to the CUDA Panel: http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-...37-driver.html.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro does support the rendered assisted GPU on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 M?

I am planing on buying a laptop Asus Rog G551VW-Fl052T containing an NVIDIA GeForce 960 M GTX and video editing with it using first pro and the gpu to help rendered. After searching trough the requirements here I couldn't find it. Then I saw this video on a similar laptop computer with a gpu are not not in the requirements works very well with gpu assisted rendering. Now I don't know if it works or not?

I expect an answer, thank you!

They do not have a list within the PrPro of video cards 'supported' as they did... so... your job is to make sure that the video card in use is at least to the standards. IF the map these standards... very well. Someone asked why PrPro has not choose to use its old GPU... that had only 512 MB of vRAM. He used this card with previous versions of PrPro, thought that it should always work. Nope... the minimum usable is now 1 GB of vRAM. It. you're fine... the list gives a choice of 2/4 GB of vRAM.

In addition, for a cut card from nVidia, something above 1000 hearts CUDA is as important. This is a problem with the map you speak... support nVidia it lists to 640 carrots. It is quite low.

I suggest you check during the Hardware forum... There are a lot of discussions on laptops as well as desktop computers.

  • Photoshop CS5 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Crash

    My profile:

    Photoshop CS5 (x 64)

    Windows 7 x 64

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 (latest driver v197.45)

    Intel i7 920 2.67 GHz

My card is listed as tested for CS5 and NVIDIA card says that it's compatible with CS5, but today after using it, my screen went blank and the display driver recovered himself. It took about 5 minutes until Photoshop CS5 became responsive and the GPU features have been disabled. I will try GPU in advanced mode and basic instead of the normal mode to see what happens, but it's a shame that I have problems of this kind. I also had problems with CS4 like that.

What I did to cause this problem: "I clicked on" Place... "to place an object, and that's when it crashed. It happens randomly that I use Photoshop. Please NVIDIA or Adobe to solve this problem. I love the GPU features and I want to run them, but this crash is boring to spend as much on the purchase of this product. I hate to have to pay to contact Adobe technical support, it should be included with the purchase of the software!

How do I fix this without having to go through the mode based GPU or disabled GPU?

Well my crash started back with the latest drivers again with the registry tweak and even disabled completely OpenGL. I was going to start to use Gimp but decided to make one last search and then found this thread: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=179747&st=20

Holy cow, thanks to this thread, I solved the problem! This idea of downclocking the card itself and other questions related power led me to this fix: go to the NVIDIA Control Panel--> manage settings 3D--> global settings and opt for 'Power Management Mode' 'Prefer Maximum Performance' (the 'Adaptive' default setting value seemed to be the culprit). And that's all! The key here is change the setting of "Global", as my individual programs were already set to 'Prefer Maximum Performance'. I have worked very well for 3 days now, and I can cause the error to happen again by changing to "Adaptive".

I do that and then turned backon OpenGL and set it to 'normal' and so far I've not dropped yet. For all of you who read this, I'll update if I have everything longer blocks, so if there is no more info about me which means this fix has remained strong.

  • XPS Intel HD 4600 Graphics and Nvidia Geforce GT 750 2720 m

    Hello

For about 3 weeks and a few updates to the Windows and Nvidia driver in may 2015, it seems that the Nvidia graphic card is no longer used by the Dell PC XPS 2720.

I tried to just reinstall the drivers of two first from the website of dell and alternately of each Web site from intel and Nvidia.

The two cards are included in the device (Device Manager) Manager, but each time, the graphics card intel HD is the only graphics cards that really works and used by the PC for an application or a game.

I can check with software such as speed of the fan or CPUID, CPUID HW Monitor.

Similarly, if I forced systematically into the control panel NVIDIA, the Nvidia card for the global or individual parameter, the Nvidia card is not used.

Normally the Nvidia should be better for 3D application or games.

Comments, solutions or justifications will be very appreciated.

    Thank you and best regards,

PS: I have read all the previous posts on the subject and I know that the two graphics cards usually work together and have been in the past subject to a number of positions or problems related to their 'recognition' by the PC. I have Windows 8.1.

    Hello

Thanks for sharing the solution. If you have questions in the future to write us, we will be happy to help you.

Yes you are right. Assumes that the features of HP people he has messed up

But you can find your like this:

    GT, GTX

Those who have been the suffixes that come after a card number (in the new cards they became prefixes), part of the confusion of naming which uses Nvidia.

In short, two cards with the same number but a different suffix will be different in terms of performance, for example: 8800 ultra is faster than the 8800 GTX that is faster than the 8800 GT which is faster than the 8800 GS.

It is an ordered list declining performance (even though there may be a few exceptions):

    Ultra / GTX +.
    GTX
    GTS
    GT
    GS/GSO
    THE

You can't say that 8600 GTS is faster than the 8800 GS (it is in fact slower), because you have to compare the 2 cards with the same number.

    Hope this solve your problem,

  • Update problem NVidia GeForce GT 230 M driver

I have a HP Pavilion dv8 with an Intel Core i7, Windows 7 64 - bit and NVidia GeForce GT 230 M video card.  He is currently leading a pilot dated 05/02/2010, version 8.16.11.8906 (the same version of the driver from the list of updates of HP drivers for this PC).

Updates Windows 7 pushes a NVidia driver updated, dated 16/10/2010, version 8.17.12.6099.  If I let the update, the PC will not get past the 'Welcome' of Windows screen on startup and will make a noise when on this screen that is normally not.  The only way I can get past this problem is to restart the PC in safe mode and do back this driver or use to go back to a restore point before this driver update.  I made sure that I reduced the potential causes of this problem starting only update the video driver.

What's wrong?  What I would do to that will make this updated video driver to work on my PC?

The problem I had with the pilot who started this topic has been resolved.  I was advised to load the latest driver from nVidia directly, which is the version of the 8.17.12.6658 pilot, dated Date 07/01/2011.  I tried this driver and it worked well.  I don't get everything grows Microsoft or HP to update the video driver, so I'm a happy camper now.

This error message can be ignored (there is even an option to tell him to never show again).

This means what he says. He tells you that your GPU is not supported for the acceleration of the converter drawn with RADIUS. This is not a problem, because it is an obsolete effect. Now that After Effects comes with Cinema 4 d, you have a more quickly, better and better how to produce 3D in AE.

Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a graphics NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved. For the moment, tracing will use the CPU.

This isn't a mistake. This is just an informational message. It's just saying you that you do not have the equipment needed to use a specific feature. Don't worry; This is a feature that you have almost no reason to worry - the traced the beam 3D rendering engine. There are many superior ways to do 3D in After Effects without using this feature. Just ignore the message and continue.

Is there something I can do?

    Thank you very much, Harry.

The only thing THAT AE really use the GPU is obsolete ray-traced rendering engine. Very few people use the ray-traced rendering engine. I wouldn't worry about this at all.

More info here: features GPU (CUDA, OpenGL) in After Effects and here: http://motionworks.net/after-effects-3d-future/

Now, some third-party plugins (like element, 3D Invigorator, transmutation, etc..) Make use of the GPU, but they will work with the AMD cards and have nothing to do with this warning of CUDA, you want to come. Check that the requirements for all you plan to buy.

You can confidently check the option do not show this message.
