I am considering 6351 PCIe to use as a counter and all of catch data.

The question is how to use the input channels equipped with PCIe-6351 quadrature encoder and correspond to voltage sensor data.

To the best of my knowledge, the PCIe-6351 isn't any FPGAs; FPGA is generally available on the platform of RIO and R series cards. As such, I'm a little confused by what you mean when you say that you want to transfer the values of voltage for the FPGA VI.

If you use our API of DAQmx LabVIEW, you can use redeclenchables Analog Input to collect a finite quantity of samples of your card for the acquisition of data each time a trigger (e.g. a pulse encoder) is received. This article has a bit more information:

    The procedure to follow before you run any diagnostic is to clear the logs from existing material. The 2900:0221 error Code represents an error previously saved and diagnostic tests failed because only the system chosen this historical error (2900:xxxx). Update the BIOS firmware and iDRAC. Otherwise, everything should be good for now.

    I have a T410 which turns off after about 30 seconds, without errors or warnings, when I ran diagnostic hardware tests, the system has failed with an error code of: Error Code IPMI 2900:0221, MSG, card system: State of the voltage sensor (5V PC) said "motherboard.  I am not able to stay connected to the server in normal mode but can keep the server running in Mode without failure.  I was not able to identify any errors in the newspapers of Windows that indicate what wrong with the operating system, whether at the time wherever remoteness has informed us that they have problems with this device restart constantly RAID known corruption massive disc I could correct it with the disk check.  The server will start without errors or messages and then just power off after about 30 seconds without warning.  This component can be replaced and is then what would be the part #, since it is out of warranty, I'm looking for all the assistance it can fix this problem because it is always a good waiter who just happened to fail after the warranty expires.

    The error you see (2900:0221) refers to something existing in the newspaper of the hardware of the iDrac. Normally, this is a reference to a mistake in the past. If you access the web interface iDrac and go to the newspapers of material, you can check if this has happened before.     There is no W7 drivers for these devices.  You must use the Vista drivers and if auto installation does not work, you will need to install the drivers manually by navigating to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file from the device in the Device Manager (browse my computer for driver software).

    Thank you for your message.  Yes, it's always the case that there is no unified driver for the PCI-GPIB card and controller ENET/GPIB for Solaris 9.  You are also right in your assumption that you will not be able to compile a program that will allow you to access these two drivers in different directories.  I apologize for the inconvinience this may cause you.

    PCI stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect. It's an industry standard bus to connect devices to a computer.

    A serial port is a serial communication physical through transfers of information inside or outside a bit at a time. The term "serial port" usually identifies hardware more or less conforms to the RS-232 standard, designed to interface with a modem or a similar communication device. The serial port used to be widely used to connect to a variety of devices external and is essentially a two-way communication port. There are still devices using a serial port connection. These are often marked as RS232 and would include devices such as TELEVISION receiver cable boxes.

    The PCI of Simple Communications controller is a generic label given by Windows for PCI cards installed in a PC when the drivers for the device are not installed.

    You probably received this error because you have not installed the driver for your PCI device.

    If your computer came with a motherboard driver disc, put the CD in and install the chipset drivers from Device Manager browse the CD. This would update the drivers for those devices.

    Steps to follow:

    a. right click on the entry in the Device Manager and select Properties.

    b. in the driver tab updated some drivers.

    c. Select Browse my computer for driver software.

    d. click on browse and look for DVD player option.

    e. follow the instructions on the screen and restart the computer after installing the drivers.

    If you don't have the motherboard drivers CD then please download and install the drivers for the chipset of the manufacturer's Web site and see if it helps.

  • PCI-6229 60 Hz noise and drift voltage

    I'm having some trouble with an acquisition of data PCI-6229, connected via a CB-68LP.  I'm under Labview8.6.1.

    The problem is with all the analog inputs. There seems to be a kind of noise in the signal, and I can't determine a reason for this. As it is, I have nothing plugged to the computer other than the CB-68LP.  This block of connection and data acquisition have been know (in the month) to function properly.

    The problem is that any signal seems to have a loud noise (1V_pp @ 60 Hz) above it.  So if I check playback on an analog channel of entry without any link with there will simply be a sine wave a 1Vpp from 60 Hz.  In addition, the sine wave slips a lot (a DC offset), usually to settle about us - 6V.   I just can not get to a good reason for this.  The input will be read in another signal (the same DAQ card or even an external function generator) and reading will look just as (InputSignal + 60 Hz noise + offset CC).

    I run the diagnostic tool (version 2.0) and everything seemed to have passed this test, but I don't know if that means anything.  Essentially, the jury seems to work, but there is a signal from noise important along the way.   I have a hard time thinking that it could be the result of a link between the acquisition of data and the connection block.

    I have everything set up in differential mode, and I'm pretty confident in the wiring between the block and the Library to which the block is attached.

    I've included what labview bed AI0 when 1. nothing is attached 2.  5.75V_pp @ 360 Hz square wave came.  I have also included the results of the diagnostic test.

    I would use my NI USB-6008 to power my blood pressure monitor UMS T5 (http://www.ums-muc.de/en/products/tensiometer/t5.html) but also to take readings of it, but I don't know if it's possible to do it properly. The power supply for the instrument can be as low as 5V, I can easily get the dedicated + 5V channel. I'm able to feed the instrument and connect it to an analog input on the 6008 and measure a voltage in differential mode. However, when you read the documentation of support for the instrument, I find the following:

    "Potential pitfalls of data acquisition: the pressure transducer is configured in a full Wheatstone bridge, the input voltage and mV signal output can be connected to the same reference (mass)." Therefore, the mV output signal can be measured using a differential voltage measurement.     My understanding is that the 6008 can take a differential measure if I attach the signal '+' and the signal "-" to the analog inputs of positive and negative terminals. However, it seems that all the ports of ground on the 6008 are grounded to the same reference, which would make my measure of invalid tension according to the above paragraph. So my real question is: if I try to record the voltage with one of the analog inputs on the 6008 in this way, is the valid measurement? Or I need to find a separate power supply, with a different reference field to ensure that the measure is accurate?

    The technical details of this device is very poor. The manual is not much better. Companies that want to sell scientific equipment should publish decent cards or get out of business.

    In section 3.4.3 General requirements the device is described as a "bridge not amplified circuit.  This information along with the impedance of the bridge should be in the specifications, because it is essential to apply the device under any circumstances other than the nominal behavior in 10.6 V.

    The answer to your question is:

    You can use it with the box USB-6008.  The 5 V supply will result in output voltages a little less than half (5/10.6) the voltage specified in nominal conditions. You can use the differential input mode on the box USB-6008.  The absolute input voltages will be approximately 2.5 V with the 5 V power supply. This voltage is in the range of the aircraft. The differences are likely to be less than 100 mV. The resolution of the USB-6008 on the + /-1 V is located about 0.5 mV so your resolution of pressure will be about 1% of full scale. The voltage input impedance and termination of the USB-6008 will present a few errors.  These can be in the order of 5 to 10%. I can't predict much better without the missing bridge impedance specification.  These errors should be relatively constant and systematic. A calibration of the whole system - sensor and together hardware DAQ should allow you to compensate for a large part of this error.
