End of life dates.

Hello group,

Y at - it a portal where I could enter a part number to return the date of end of LIFE?

Thank you very much.

As far as I know, no. You must read the appropriate product page and their end of LIFE announcement, if published.

But ask yourself in the wrong forum (see the description for more details), and I'm no expert on the subject. I'll pass your question to the community, I would like to fit better this kind of question. Hopefully someone more qualified will answer you.

  • XP end of life Date announced

I am fully aware of the April 8th date of end of LIFE.  However, I need to know when Microsoft made the official announcement on the EOL for XP.  I can't find anything online, nor Microsoft Help Desk could provide me with all the dates.

I work for a company of POS and I have clients asking me these questions.  If possible, a link to that date would be perfect!

    Thank you!

    Hello

I know not just when and where the official announcement was made, but this announcement.

Today update: Countdown to two years at the end of the Support for Windows XP and Office 2003

has been made on 9 April 2012 and that followed.

From here a year to Support Windows XP stops, now what?

about 1 year later, on 8 April 2013.

  • I support a very large school district running Firefox 3.6. What will happen at the end of life date? In the online environment, we test this week.

I run the test center for a very large school district with over 120 students of k. We have a current deployed at base of 54 client machines of k using Firefox 3.6. We have not upgraded for many reasons, of which the most important is to remove the possibility of use in navigation private students and dealing with plugin-updates for the digital non-born (read dumber than a bag of hammers users) that make up the majority of the customer base.

We test ESR now, but only discovered this end of life for 3.6 is tomorrow, 4/24. We are currently in the middle of the scale of the State of online tests. The question is, what will happen tomorrow, when the browser will end of life. ESR wiki mentions that "an update to the current version of Firefox Desktop will be available through the Update Service Application"

So the main question is, are my students/teachers goes to get a popup telling them that they have updated the browser if we have already turned off updates? If so, can I I disable remote using SCCM, because there will be all sorts of havoc.

Please advise as soon as possible and thank you in advance.

An addon like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/disable-private-browsing-pl/ can help, or http://kb.mozillazine.org/User:Dickvl / Private_Browsing_disable (don't forget, this is beyond what this forum can help you with if you need help making these changes).

  • When will Firefox 3 be End-Of-Life be?

There was no official word from Mozilla on a date for end of life for the Firefox 3 version? I support Firefox 3 and 11 in a corporate environment and would like to know if we need begin to gradually eliminate version 3.

Firefox 3 has been end of life several years ago. Firefox 3.6 will be the end of life April 24, 2012. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Enterprise/Firefox/ExtendedSupport: Proposal #Assumptions.

  • End of life for PS6000XV & PS6500E

When PS6000XV & PS6500E reach the end of life?  Thank you

End support PS6000XV is seven years after the date of billing.   The end of the date of sale for the PS6000 was Nov 18,2011, making 2018 the last possible date taken in charge, assuming that you bought Nov 2011.

End support PS6500E is 5 years after the date of billing.   Since the replacement has not yet been made public, there is no released to end of sale date.

  • SA540 end of life

    Hello

I tried to give a sense of end of life policy and notifications for the SA540 unit. The "last day of support: HW" is on 30 April 2016. This means that updates of firmware to address security issues will be available until this date, or firmware update have already been arrested?

    Thanks in advance,

    Richard.

Whatever the EOS/EOL announcement, IMO the EOL practice has already taken place. Just look at when the last firmware update was published (December 2012) and then think about what happened in the area of security since then. For example all SSL/TLE-problems in recent years.

It is time to replace these units.

  • CSA 4.5 End-Of-Life

Hello.. Does anyone know what is the end date of sale or End-Of-Life for CSA version 4.5? An official link to the Cisco's Web site would be appreciated...

I could not find in the product page.

  • End of sale (EoS) / end of life (EoL) information on Cisco TelePresence system 1700 MXP

I have a question about the EoL (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collaboration-endpoints/eos-eol-po...) policy and the announcement of EoS/EoL Cisco TelePresence system 1700 MXP (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints...).

According to the policy of the EoL, paragraph 4 ter, "after the first year and for the operating system SW - if available - we will offer bug fixes, versions of maintenance, workarounds or patches for a period of 4 years for operating system software."  Therefore, it is 5 years after the Date of the EoS, which could make the OS support close on 28/02/2017 EoL products.  I'm one to believe that a product and its applicable operating system are good as long as the company provides patches for bugs/flaws.

My question is about the migration of the product suggestions.  The suggestion is to "migrate to the Cisco EX Series (the EX60 or solution EX90) telepresence system."  However, when the announcement of EoS/EoL EX60 inspection, the "SW maintenance communicated End Date of: HW, SW OS ' 06 07, 2016.  Note that it is not the end of Maintenance SW verbiage in 1700 MXP EoS/EoL announcement.  I'm under the assumption that the new product within OS support only one model exceeded?  Why anyone would follow the suggested migration if I get fewer months support OS than an older model?  Should I go out of date on the announcement of the EoS/EoL, or use the 5-year rule as shown in the end of life policy.

If I am interpreting this wrong, please do not hesitate to correct me.  I am trying to understand the explicit verbiage in the end of life and ads EoS/EoL policy.

As the 1700 MXP announcement was published in 2011, at that time, the EX60/90 was a legitimate substitute. However years later, endpoints EX Series are now EOS, you should look at alternatives for the EX series instead.

The announcement of the EOS/EOL indicates a date of end of software support, you should go there. The reason that ad 1700 MXP does not list one could be that the date of assumption of the software had already spent or they simply don't have the list at the time. Looking at the latest version of the software for the 1700 MXP, it's F9.3.3 in 2014, I highly doubt, there will be another, but you never know given that other points of MXP endpoints that are not past their published end date of software support.

  • Significance of the 'End of warranty' date on the Officejet printhead?

I just bought a couple of HP 940 Officejet printheads via an online retailer.

It indicates an 'end of warranty' date of July 2013.     The other shows "warranty ends" Jan 2012 (IE next month).

I contacted the dealer as out of date, I was also unhappy that the print head was sent without a standard cardboard packaging.  Just the printhead in its tray plastic with the seal of white paper in place.

The retailer said that the HP warranty "for the 18 months after the date on the box.

I observed that on the box outside cardboar4d, thyere is only the date, while on the white sheet, it has the same date but includes the words "guarantee ends."

    My questions:

-with an 'end of warranty' date Jan 2012, this means that it is an 'old' print head and that maybe it's not good to use, or may not give a full life?  for example, as an expiry date?

-What is the significance of the date on the box and the phrase "warrany ends" on the sheet-seal on the plastic tray holding the print head?

    Thank you

    Colin

    Colin,

The warranty on the box (or in this case paper) date is the last date where HP will cover the accessory as under warranty. In this case, there is no guarantee of 18 months after that date.

The element can work perfectly for a while after the date, but it is not covered by the warranty if a problem should arise.

The greater longevity of your supplies, you choose an item with an end of warranty date as far in the future.

The official warranty statement is listed here.

    Thank you

  • Question for staff: VMWare Workstation 7: end of life?

Can any of the VMWare team please clarify the situation concerning VMWare Workstation 7. My security software said 7 Workstation is end of life, and it won't pass me with rating of 100% because of this. Is there still some security fixes and stability issued for VMWare Workstation 7? What is the date of end for security patches support?

I do not see where it is noted the end of Support (EOS) for VMWare Workstation 7.

It does not separately, because it is not already EOS.

    from the link:

VMware will support the previous major version and its minor versions for 18 months

  • End of the Date supported for Oracle BPM company autonomous 10gR 3

I'm running "Oracle BPM business standalone 10.3.1.0.0" and I can't find a date "end of support" for the product. I found a Metalink note that reported a 'BPM Matrix interoperability', here:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/BPM/documentation/obpm-config-matrix-085247.html#bpmes10301031

who shows me the interoperability information, but no end of support date. Any ideas on where I could look at?

    Thank you

You can get this if you search for "Oracle lifetime support policy" on Oracle's Web site. At the top of this page, click on "Oracle Lifetime Support Policies"--> download the "duration of life-support-middleware - 069163.pdf" and go to page 31 of this document.

  • Accelerated release of Firefox calendar is at the origin of the compatibility issues with our intranet applications - where can I find the terms of this annex, including the end of support dates?

We are a University use an updated internal development of e-Learning applications which makes use of a framework rich client (ZK - www.zkoss.org). For reasons of compatibility with this application, as well as other general factors, we have standardized on FF 3.6 browser for all our desktop computers. Normally, we will review our browser selection once a year and make the changes/updates to compatibility level for 3 rd-party libraries we use and our own code, in order to address new developments in the browser market.

However the FF of the new policy of difficult liberation our lives check. FF 6 came out just months after 5 FF. We perform an upgrade, we have to do a systematic series of tests, settings, changes etc. regression tests. The cost is not possible for us to do this every 3 months! So please can anyone point us to a clear release plan for FF that shows, for each version:

    a. Release date
    b. End-of-support date
    c. Release notes
    d. Compatibility in terms of HTML and Javascript/ECMAScript versions.

    https://wiki.Mozilla.org/RapidRelease/calendar

    https://wiki.Mozilla.org/releases

New versions are will be released every 6 weeks, so until Mozilla announced they will do than support for a LTS version for business 'customers', you guys left to swing in the breeze as well as to be able to plan for the future with Firefox. I think that as long as the said decision is taken, support for Firefox 3.6 versions will continue. A 3.6.22 release is under development right now, probably for immediate release next week.

As far as the end of support dates, as each new version is the version support ends for the previous version, with the exception of 3.6.x. currently Firefox 3.6.x and 6.0.x are the only versions that receive security updates. Firefox 4.0 and 5.0 is not 'supported' any longer.

  • Windows 2000 end of life July

We have a server with Windows 2000, i.e. at the end of life to July 2010 and therefore no support available after July.

Because of the dependence of the applications that are running on this server we are not able to upgrade the operating system until October 2010.

I would like to know if it is a replacement option where we support October 2010?
