Endless reboot and commissioning.

Looked for support but nothing has worked yet. A tool of false malicous softwear installed itself on my windows xp. I couldn't get rid of the program by the usual means. I turned off my pc and went to bed. Big mistake. Now, I'm in this interminable rebboot. All the other options do not work in safe mode. Disable restarting system failure option is not listed. He was enrolled at the origin, but it has now disappeared. tried usin the XP upgrade disk and that does not work either. files to install, but startup problems never goes away. Like restore my pc to its former State and do not have to completely reinstall windows.

Thank you.

  • Firefox opens not at all, even after reboot and re-setup - IE opens normally - what can I do?

I have used Firefox since version 3 - really like compared to others.

This morning, after the startup of Firefox does not open. It worked when the PC was off last night. The eggtimer lights up briefly, then nothing. Internet Explorer works fine, just like Mailwasher (by e-mail) and MS Outlook, is not a problem of the internet.

I am running XP Service Pack 3 (no, really, yet), with Secure Anywhere of Webroot internet security.

I tried to restart - no effect
I tried to remove, reboot, and reinstall - no effect
I tried to run it from a link in an e-mail message - no effect
I tried to run from the line start - run with the ~ option p as in your FAQ - no effect
I tried to reinstall Adobe Flash Player, Shockwave, Java, etc...

The closest, I have something to go is trying to launch a console of Webroot, when I got "Browser launch 1073741819 error" - but this could be an error code of Webroot.

I don't know what else - make almost all your FAQ will be that you can enter the program.

The only thing I can think is that webroot removed a threat this morning, but I can't find saved the crawl log for what it was - clutch at straws, maybe that had something to do with it?

Maybe it's related, but I'll have to write this on another PC, because the Mozilla Web pages displayed incorrectly in Internet Explorer (all other sites I can find appear in normal type) so the plug-ins installed do not reflect what I have on the PC in question

Yes. This means that another program has been in effect to prevent Firefox from running. If do not help the above suggestions, you can solve the problem, as described in the following article. • I tried to install the beta version of Firefox 11, after installing it says restart, well I reboot and it keeps asking me to reboot? then I completely remove Firefox and he always asks me to reboot? any help

I tried to install the new beta of Firefox 11, when it was finished, he said that I had to reboot, so I rebooted and it asked me to restart again and again and again! then I deleted Firefox thinking I'll start with a blank slate, although he always asks me to restart any help?

You can try to reboot after deleting the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) folder.

The beta version can be installed in a different program folder, you may need to check this.

I have a Toshiba Satellite M50D-A-10W passing me all nuts "reboot and select proper boot device."

This has happened before and it was solved by ctr-alt-del and F12 to get into the BIOS where the date went back to some time in 2010 - after put so far and to change the boot device, everything worked fine... until the next day.

Now I get the screen "reboot and select good boot device ', but the F12 key does not; I also tried F2... the message keep multiplying, no BIOS...
    Help, please!

In some cases the BIOS is only accessible by pressing the button turn off force on the lower side of the unit.

After that you were able to start the windows system, its highly recommended to update the BIOS as BIOS update would solve this annoying problem.

  • Reboot and select good Boot Device problem - my PC does not start!

    Hi all

Whenever I turn on my computer I get the message "Reboot and select proper boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press a key.

I checked the diagonistics material and these are the results:

    Test CPU-

Hard drive: failure of the connection Test - Error Code: BIOHD1

    Memory - past

I don't think that the issue is a faulty connection. My reason to believe so because I think that I had a virus on my computer (I was not able to confirm) I tried to delete the last time I was able to use the computer. Then I turned off the computer to restart, but unfortunately, that's when I got this error message.

I had this problem once before (about 3 years ago) and I was not able to solve this problem, so I just stopped using the PC. Then one day my Dad turned on the computer (a few months later) and it worked all of a sudden.

Anyone know what this problem is? How can I solve this problem?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for your time and effort!

    Additional information:

It was originally a windows 7 PC, but I have upgraded to windows 10, which is the current operating system.

    Product: HP p6620f

I managed to start my PC again.

I have unplugged all connections and left it that way for about 24 hours. Then I plugged everything back in and all of a sudden the PC worked again. I don't know if it will last, but right now it works.

I'll write another post if something changes.

    Hi all

My laptop recently bought C50-B-13N moving 39 updates yesterday, when it crashed.

seem to have accidentally deleted the data on the disk.

I have now repeatedly received the error message "Reboot and select proper boot device."

I tried the F12 approach to , but my Start Menu does not have this option.

I'm frustrated that the new laptop played if bad, given that I have had Toshiba devices for about 10 years.
In addition, I am disappointed that potentially serious consequences to remove the drive were clearly deprecated for me, before you start.

    Please give us a solution.
The laptop is 4 months old.

In addition, how can I start the process of an application under my warranty?

I seem to have accidentally deleted the data on the disk.

Obviously the HARD drive recovery procedure is not possible now because the HARD drive recovery files have been deleted.

I guess you have not created such recovery media as recommended in the user's manual.

Well, in this case, you have a chance to order a missing middle of recovery and recover the laptop to factory condition.

Means of recovery can be ordered here:

  • Satellite C660: message: reboots and select good boot device

    Hello

I dropped the laptop today literally a few inches from the ground, it slipped from my hand as I was placing it on the ground. He fell flat.

Now I see the message "reboot and select proper boot device."

I tried a few different options that I read, and I see the HARD drive in the BIOS F2 thing or whatever it is called. If it is recognized, but I can't seem to move in the message. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

PS I will need clear instructions, I'm not stupid, but I need to explain. I don't understand some of the pieces.

    Thank you

    Hello

I think that your HARD drive is bad.
I think that you have not checked it correctly in the BIOS.

Please go to BIOS once more, by pressing F2.
Now on the first page, you will see date, time, details of CD/DVD drive and you should also see the details of the disk (size, name)
    You see that?

Otherwise, the HARD disk is not initialized by the BIOS and this means that, because of the fall, the HARD disk has been damaged.

    (5) how to solve the problem in the installation of the software by hp.

Ok. I'm sorry, I know we're going through a lot of steps here, but I don't want to help you solve this problem. Before going further with the registry changes, I want you back up the registry. Here's how do to back up the registry.

Once the registry is backed up, here are a few changes to try:

    Option 1

    1. Open regedit.exe

    2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status\SysprepStatus

3 change the data in the 'CleanupState' value to '2'.

Change the data in the value "GeneralizationState" "7".

    4. click on OK.

5 restart the computer. If SysPrep is yet to come continue to Option 2.

    Option 2

    1. Open regedit.exe

    2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status

    3. change "SetupType" data value to "0".

Change the data value of "SystemSetupInProgress" to "0".

Change the data in the 'SetupPhase' value to '0'.

    Let 'CmdLine' empty data value

Change the data in the 'OOBEInProgress' value to '0'.

    4. click on OK.

    5 restart the computer.

Let me know the results of these options. If none of these options work individually, try both together.
