Endurance and automatic rotation of questions

Hi all

I got my Xperia Z3 for a few months now. A few days ago, I started to notice a number of questions, I'll try to explain my best:

1. I unlocked my phone and started to use it, within 3 seconds, the screen went black. I thought it was a little hitch, tried again and it's the same thing. It was as if the phone was auto lock, even when I used it. I took it to my phone provider, they did a factory reset and it seemed to solve the problem. I went home, put on stamina mode and the same thing happens again. My phone is very good, not Stamina mode, but as soon as I turn it on I can use the phone for 3 seconds before it is not empty.

2. I can't use auto-rotation on my phone. I use the clock in office during the night, but it does not turn when I turn the phone. When I use apps that auto-rotation, such a YouTube, the screen turns, but then I cannot get it back to 'normal' unless I go back to the home page.

Just a few troublesome things that are going on, but I use the two features on a regular basis and have already seen a difference in my life of the battery, now I can't use the endurance mode. I tried to do a factory reset again and I tried to use the phone in safemode, but two problems.

Help please?

Thank you, Rebecca

Try to perform a repair of the system using PC Companion , as this will often solve problems - it will be resetting your phone

Turn off your phone and unplug the PC (Hold to increase the volume and power for 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select the area of support then updated my phone/Tablet then blue fix my phone/Tablet and follow the instructions on the screen - when prompted connect your phone turned off always press and hold volume or back button - this should begin the process of repair or reformatting

If you use Windows 8/8.1 or a 64-bit operating system and then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and choose Windows 7 or XP

Note: This is not the same as a factory reset and it will erase all data on your phone also

  • 5701na stream 7: Stream 7 Kionix sensors and automatic rotation

    Hello
I have two tablets of 5701na 7 stream, that were running Windows 8.1.  I did a clean install of Windows 10 on both.  "E/s of sensor devices" section in Device Manager shows the device of the accelerometer is installed and functional.  "Sensors" section shows the 'Kionix Fusion of sensors' device, but this device is marked with an exclamation point, and indicates the status of the device that the "device could not start, error 10". "

I tried the original commercial version of Windows 10 Pro N and the latest Version 1511.  I also tried the Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 drivers on HP website.  I tried various downloads of individual drivers (inf25 and inf24) and install the devices manually as legacy material.  Even when the devices appear to install correctly, 'Sensor of Fusion Kionix' device stop with error 10, usually in a few minutes.  And I tried all the combinations on the two tablets, just in case it was defective.  The two tablets were turning correctly when running Windows 8.1.

Everything works as expected, including modes of Tablet and desktop computer and the Windows button that switches between the display of tasks and the office.  But in Control Panel-> display and in "all the settings-> devices-> display" settings there is no list drop-down or turn on or off for auto-rotation.

I installed and re-installed the OS at least a dozen times, trying different driver combinations in different orders, but the sensor Fusion won't stay not just active.  Has anyone else had the same problem?  Windows 10 is better suited to the Tablet, and I'd be disappointed to return to Windows 8. 1.

    Thank you.

Turns out be the version "n" to win 10.  The "n" version not supported the pilot of Kionix, while the "n" version is apparently not.  As far as I can make out, the "n" version does not install the required driver update framework.  The driver seems to run through all the options, but it is not actually install the driver correctly.  With a version "n" not to win 10, driver installation takes about 10 seconds, the part of driver framework seems not to be triggered and the package successfully installed / active detection devices.  If you plan to install Win 10 Pro, remember to insert EI.cfg and PID.txt files in your USB image, substitute the Win 8.1 home activation key which is burned in the BIOS.

  • Reduce consumption of battery motion and automatic brightness

Hi, I would like to know some things.

First: activation reduce motion put on iPhone save the battery life since perspective wallpapers are being turned off when the low power Mode is on?

Second: Automatic Rotation of the brightness to the wide and holding the brightness at Midway to consume less energy than to have automatic brightness, allowing the iPhone to constantly check our environment and adjust the brightness?

    Thank you!

To the first question, while I can't tell you with certainty, yes reducing motion should keep a battery life.

To the second question, it depends. If automatic brightness is to keep the phone on a higher setting to half way then it would be. If A - B fits between a minimum and a high level, then probably not. I keep A - B on all the time and I have no problem with the battery life, but if I'm outside it would be a trade off between being able to read the screen and save battery.

  • Windows photo photos automatically rotate Gallery

I opened the Windows Photo Gallery for the first time today and to my surprise, I saw all my photos in the program!

The problem is that none of them have been rotated. I see in the options I can automatically rotates images during the import, but all these images are already in the photo gallery.

How do I automatically rotate all those images now?

    CTC

    Hi ctctc,.

You can use this feature when you connect the camera to the computer to transfer pictures to the computer.

If your camera can detect whether you take pictures vertically or horizontally (usually using a sensor that can tell how the camera is oriented), your computer can automatically rotate images in JPEG format to orient it correctly when they are imported. If you use this option, you will not have to manually rotate pictures that appear sideways on your computer, and it does not affect the quality of the image of your photos.

To turn on the automatic image rotation

    1. open the Windows Photo Gallery by clicking Start , allprograms, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.
    2. click on the menu file and then click on Options.
    3. click on the import tab.
    4. check the rotate pictures on the box import and then click OK.

However, you can also rotate the photos that are already available in the windows photo gallery by opening each picture and by turning manually.

    1. open the Windows Photo Gallery by clicking Start , allprograms, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.
    2. click on the image you want to Rotate.
    3. click on one of the rotation buttons to rotate the image 90 degrees to the right or to the left.

    I hope this helps!

  • Let the "cliché" on the road and automatic

    Original title: another Q

Had trouble with backup initially. Was told to go to "volume shadow copy" and turn it to automatic and started.

It worked, but I wonder to leave the "cliché" on road and automatic?

    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

Windows operating system you are using?

I suggest that you keep the Volume Shadow Copy service started and the type set to automatic startup. The Volume Shadow Copy Service provides the infrastructure of backup for Microsoft Windows operating systems.

If you have additional questions on the computer, please ask your question about Windows and we will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

  • Following Windows upgrade 2-in-1 10 no automatic rotation of screen on Inspiron 7000

I have an Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 that I just upgraded to Windows 10. Following the upgrade, auto-rotation of the screen has stopped working, and I could not allow him because the button in the notifications area to do so was gray. I also found the check box turn on in the display settings dialog box, but after allowing that the screen has always refused to auto-rotation.

Note that this function works very well under Windows 8.1, so I know it can't be a hardware problem.

Then I went to the Manager of peripheral and deleted devices of two sensors, thinking that Windows should detect and reinstall the drivers for them once I restarted. There is unfortunately no, and detection devices have been in Device Manager. I've never seen a version of Windows that does not detect missing drivers for hardware existing after a reboot and re - install automatically.

Now, all the options to activate the rotation of the screen disappeared, so Windows apparently didn't know that the motion detectors exist.

I've looked everywhere for these device drivers so I can install myself, including the Dell site support using my service code number and drew a complete blank. Where can I get drivers for detection devices, or otherwise get this problem fixed?

Please help, a 2-in-1 is pretty useless if I can't get the display to auto-rotation. Thanks in advance!

Seems, that I figured this out...

When you uninstall the sensor devices by using Device Manager, Windows 10 do not detect after a reboot and automatically installs the drivers as Windows normally would for any other device (as long as you have the setting enabled in the "Devices and printers" dialog box, it is enabled by default), as I had mentioned previously.

This is because the sensor for my model laptop drivers (Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 (7348)) are part of the Dell 'Intel Chipset Driver' package. There is absolutely no mention of this on the downloads page, which obviously is not very useful:

    www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails

Once I installed this package, all the controls for the rotation of the screen appeared, but they were always in gray.

It turns out that controls the rotation of the screen now gray when you have the laptop open in the "normal position", or with the keyboard on your work surface and the tilted screen back as you would normally use for any another portable computer. Once you either place the laptop on the direction tries or with the keyboard completely folded backward, those controls 'sober up' themselves and can then be changed. To the best of my knowledge, this was not the case in Windows 8.1, and it's easy to fall into entrapment.

Live and learn I guess, but it's not an obvious problem is easy to understand, or at least it wasn't for me. I hope this helps someone.

  • Acrobat automatically rotates comments

I have Acrobat Pro and find that sometimes if I add a page to a file in another, all comments that are copied to the new page are automatically rotated if the addition of the page wasn't the same orientation as the current document, even if I already shot it and recorded to match.

How can I stop either what's happening, or how to rotate the comments to their original orientation?

You can not prevent this. Here, that's why you see this: just because you see a page being directed "correctly", does not mean that the page has been created with this rotation. Depending on the application (and the PDF renderer used), a page can be created with its contents actually rotated 90 degrees, but when displayed, you will need to turn the head to read the content, so the application/PDF generator also adds a rotation display of the page that says "rotation of - 90 °" and in this way, the PDF Viewer will ensure that you can see the page in its natural direction.

Whenever you place an annotation (who is placing for the first time, do not dial an existing one), Acrobat watch the rotation of the page and then place the annotation with a parameter of rotation is applied so that it looks correct on the page. When you copy this annotation, you are also copy this rotation setting so that when you place the annotation on the same page (or a different page in the same document that was created in the same way), it seems OK again. However, if you paste this annotation rotated on such a page without rotation (or a page containing a rotation setting different), you will end up by with something that doesn't seem right.

What can you do about it? Unfortunately, with the tools you have available in Acrobat, nothing you can do. You can write a script that turns a selected annotation, but this should be done after you place the annotation.

My tx10 automatically rotates pictures 90 degrees after that I'll take them. How to make this stop?

The camera automatically rotates the image according to its orientation. Unfortunately, this feature cannot be disabled.

You can correct orientation by setting the [rotation] option in the menu viewing.

  • Disabling automatic rotation

Hello, I'm repurposing a tx2500 series machine to be a small Center of television and the media. However, I find nowhere to turn off automatic rotation by turning the lid of the portable computer in tablet mode. The spin on the front button works fine, and the screen turns as expected... I like to keep the abilitly to turn with the front button, but not the screen to turn simply by turning the lid. The computer is running Windows 7, and I checked every possible place I can think, but not luck. It seems that everyone wants to do the opposite of what I'm trying to do!

    Thanks for any help

It seems that I solved the problem with a bit of experimentation. I first updated to the latest drivers directly from ATI, Radeon HD 3200. Then I looked in the registry for the term "rotation". I found a HKCU\Software\hewlett-Packard HP key buttons to quick launch that contains a binary value named 'EnableModeChange '. The value has been set to 1, so I set to 0 and rebooted. Now, it does exactly what I want.

I suspect that the material for the cover and bezel button use the same parameters, "presses" just cover it for the user. I didn't put back to 1 to see if it is indeed the case, but that's what I was looking for.

Thanks, hope this helps someone else

I am currently working on a site that has the integration of Paypal which includes the page redirects (confirm or cancel). My goal is to have the implementation of site with a layout for desktop, Tablet and phone. My question is when I have a redirect page should I create a separate provision of the page for each device or just a provision of office that fits all three screen sizes? I hope that if the html page has the same name of the device (query) is automatically detected. Help with the help of Adobe Muse CC

By Payal integration, you mean paypal html button? or etc payment gateway configuration? If this is a configuration of the gateway to your site domain name then a single page with any structure will work, but if you use the button code for all associated formats then you will need to create separate pages for all.

Why has my Automatic rotation of the ipad stopped when I pass the vertical horizontal screen remains in the vertical position?

Not all applications are supported both orientations. If you experience of this with an app that should work, you know, you most likely locked up the switch of direction. Drag your finger from the bottom of the screen bezel to display Control Center. Tap on the lock with a circular arrow icon.
