Energy Manager

Hello.I am a new user of g50-70 of lenovo. My phone is always in the AC network. (regular intake at home)

According to the instructions on the battery life I should spend the energy conservation mode Manager. I did and recharge the battery stopped at 60% as expected. The problem is that sometimes the energy Manager returns to the normal mode and battery is charged to 100%, why this happens?

  • How to disable Lenovo energy management

I have Vista Home Premium on my Y430. Once I disabled Lenovo Energy Management and used the Vista build-in power management. My impression was that the battery lasted longer when you use the build-in one than Lenovo Energy Management (4 hours from 3 hours in symmetric mode).

I activated there is Lenovo energy management. But now I don't remember how to turn it off. Does anyone know how to disable? Thank you very much.

I found a way to disable management of the energy of Lenovo using Windows Defender. Click 'Start'--> 'All programs', right click on "Windows Defender", select "run as Administrator". Click the 'tools' at the top of the window, and then click "Software Explorer". Click on 'Show for all users' in the lower left corner. In the "Category" list, select "startup programs". Select "Lenovo Battery Management Software VerX.X" on the left panel. At the bottom of the Panel, click the button 'Disable' (or 'Remove'). Lenovo Energy Management this will prevent to run the next time that you start your laptop.

To activate it, just follow the steps above and click 'Activate' to the last step. Or you can go to 'Control panel'--> 'Power Options'--> 'change plan settings'--> "Change power settings advanced"--> "Lenovo Energy Management" to enable it.

  • Lenovo Energy Management

I just bought 3 Y50-70 of lenovo laptops.

I got them all configured and I installed the managemnt energy on them as they will be connected more often than otherwise. He succeeded on 2 of them but 3 when I click on settings and then try to click Mode of Conservation on it does nothing, also once in the settings, I'm not able to click on any other menu or close the energy management.

I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it and no change. Any other suggestions to resolbe this problem?

    Thank you!

I think I found the solution. Besides the tests I found that it worked on my administrator account, but not on account of my daugter. Even if I ran as administrator on his account.

Then, I created a new profile of the child and discovered that it works on the new profile of child very well. It seems that it is a matter of profile and just delete the current profile and redo. If it works when everything is done I'll update this post.

  • Where to find Lenovo power/energy management?

Yesterday, my new Y500 reminded me that I can extend my life of the battery by unloading it partially. Then I looked for the energy management program to do that and can't find it on the computer! I then downloaded from Lenovo and installed it, but still I can not find the program to load! I searched all the apps. In addition, the Windows power management system is active and seems to work very well.

    Robert

I don't know if this will help, but when I clicked on the battery and more selected "Power Options" then click on 'change the power plan settings' and then I went into "advanced power settings". There is a tab it for Lenovo Energy Management and you must click on "activate Lenovo Energy Management." Then it pops up.

  • Lenovo Energy Management silent install

    Hello

I'm deploying Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro via sccm with drivers/software preloaded in the company. I am quite aware that this model is not ment for the company, but it is requirement.

For now the deployment looks good, except one software: Lenovo Energy Management 1.0.1.49.

    Link: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-2-pro-lenovo/download...
This software is installed correctly when I run the installer manually with double click, but refuses to work in silent mode or unattended. Public documents, unfortunately, is not available on the Lenovo drivers download pages.

I spent a lot of time looking for silent switch manually, but all without success. In the best scenario complete installation with the code output-3. I saw via procmon this real called 2 MSI (command lines are hidden) and perform additional configuration as installation drivers with dpinst, installation of the device through devcon, registration of dll and the calling application executables. For now, I just couldn't operate without initial installer.

I'm pretty sure that Lenovo factory this software is preinstalled on the PC with a sort of silent command. Is it possible that someone who closely works with OS preload Lenovo provides this command line silent for Lenovo Energy Management 1.0.1.49?

It may also be that another version is preinstalled when buildings of the factory, so yes, it would be nice to get that media.

    Thank you much in advance.

    Hello

Thanks for the response, but no need already.

I found another version of the management of the energy that was silent-installation capable and was incompatible with Yoga 2 Pro (no official compatibility in the documentation of the software however). This version has me led to the solution - he had Setup.iss file as well as initial setup.exe, which v.1.0.1.49 had no downloadable media.

So, to install v.1.0.1.49 of energy management that I had to run it with the r switch, get Setup.iss file in the %windir%\System32 folder and now it installs with Setup.exe /s/v/qn perfectly.

    Hope this helps someone.

  • No extraction of dust fan in Lenovo Energy Management

Hi, does anyone know why the dusting of fan option missing in energy management? It is longer supported Lenovo? I have the model Lenovo G580 20150. It was such a useful function.

No, it does not help. I found the solution, it is because Windows 8 - the new system is not yet compatible with some features of this program. This function returns all of a sudden and I changed the compatibility to run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

  • GO50-80: battery 80% available (plugged in, not charging)-energy management function

I have no idea why or how fix it. Previously, my battery does very quickly.

I messed up when I posted before. It is stuck at 56%. I noticed the power management feature is new to win like last week 10 and has probably improved on my machine so. This is why I had not seen that before I would say. I have dl had the driver of energy management last night and now I have a new battery indicator to start. Guess I'll have to worry not be stuck at 56%, as it's apparently normal now. Thanks for your comments.

  • Energy management software

Yesterday, the software of management of energy arises on its own, and I changed the setting to optimize the health of the battery. Now I would like to change the setting back, but I can not find or open energy management.

I found the driver on my computer and reinstalled several times, but nowhere do I really understand how to run the software and make changes. The search of my computer turns what othe option to reinstall the driver.

With the installed driver, how do I find/access energy management in order to change the settings?

    Hi AJandAMY,

Welcome to the community of Lenovo.

Once installed the software of energy management, it must create a system tray icon (lower right corner) to facilitate access to its features. If you don't find it there, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Lenovo\Energy management and search for Energy Management.exe

    I hope this helps.

  • N586 & energy management

    Hello

I think I applied by mistake an update of Windows 8 power management to Windows 7 64 on a N586 and now the volume and screen display bars are not.

I'm unable to reload the original drivers: error message "a newer version of the energy management is already installed on this computer. Setup cannot continue. "

Now can I solve this problem and reinstall the original driver of energy management?

  • Yoga 2 pro Energy Manager freeze on Windows 10

    Hi all

It's my first time writing here, but I went through through the forums for a few months and it has helped me solve most of my problems. Kudos to you all.

I recently updated my Yoga 2 pro to win 10, and everything works smoothly, with the exception of the Manager of energy.

When I open it I can use it without any problem at all basic mode (switching between energy modes works ok).

However, when I click on the upper right to display the parameters, (especially to change the plan to charge for my battery and so), the program freezes and does nothing but consuming about 20% of my CPU.

Return to win 8.1, I used to switch between mode of conservation % max60, or deppending of fast charge on what I would need. Now, I can't use.

I use the latest version available on the website (1.0.1.51) and updates of the Win10 system are all this up-to-date.

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Greetings!

I had this problem and found that it was due to a conflict with the Teamviewer application. I have disabled the start of Teamviewer Windows startup and the energy Manager now works as expected.

  • IdeadPad Z470, and energy management

    Hello

Recently I scanned my Z470 for spyware and viruses, the scanner (SuperAntiSpyware) detected and deleted files infected apparently, after that I had to reboot my laptop and when it started, the following message appeared about Lenovo Energy Management "the program can't start because HookLib.dll is missing.ยป Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I tried to reinstall the driver several times, but as soon as I restart my laptop, the message continues to display. I searched to Hooklib.dll and turns out it's some sort of spyware? I was not able to download and I do not know if is a kind of trap or a .dll file is invalid. Is it possible to fix the sentence?

    Thank you!!

    Hi again!

I was able to solve the problem. It was easy, I went to my control of backup, the .dll file and copy/pasted in the appropriate directory, and that's all. Energy management is represented.
