Entries in the calendar of Smartphones blackBerry fail to remove

I have a number of entries of the calendar that I can't remove, except one. I tried the 'standard' (reproduced below) procedure, which clears most of the entries, but not all. How can I remove those remaining mass. (I'm not generally weather the storm.)

And while we're at it, does anyone have an idea of how they got there in the first place? They are dups of other events that have been deleted successfully.

  1. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click the backup and restore icon.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. In the databases of devices pane, click the Calendar database.
  4. Click clear.
  5. In the databases of devices pane, click the calendar-all database.
  6. Click on clear.

Ok. Now they are gone. And I don't know how.

    4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

    5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  • The latest OS Smartphones blackBerry for Blackberry storm 9500

    I want to upgrade my blackberry OS 4.7. I want to know that the latest OS available for my BB and the yo link download it.

    When I do the through BLackberry desktop manager it's showng OS 4.7 Bundle, what kind of OS is this?

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    To add to the above, you will need to override the methods "automatic" which will use the foregoing. Left alone, the "automatic" methods will offer only you OS packages sanctioned by the carrier for which your BB was built (under the VendorID on the device). But, you are not limited only to those... the easiest is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

    (4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    (5) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    Do not forget to save.

    Note that if you had to make a special "tricks" for your BB to function initially get on your carrier (for example, your BB model no is not natively supported by your carrier system), then this process will wipe those out, and you have to make them once again after it's over. Before starting, so 100% certain that you know what these "things" have been and are able to do it again.

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • Alerts calendar of Smartphones blackBerry does not

    My calendar entries have yellow bells by them, but the Bb do not give any kind of alert beep or a vibration when the APPT is due. I looked in the calendar options, profiles, where my Bb has the 'normal' value and settings, but nothing on the calendar alerts setting is there.  Seems like a simple question - someone ' one knows how to turn the calendar alert?

    Thank you very much for your time and best wishes!

    You must first click on your profile icon, then scroll down and select Advanced. And then click normal, if that's what you use. Then, you will see all the things that you can change the tone. Click Calendar, and then adjust as you wish, remember to press the previous button and save.

  • Error synchronizing Calendar Outlook Smartphones blackBerry "done in unexpected ways.

    Question 1: Is there a synchronization conflict "BOLD" BB with the MS Outlook Calendar, Contacts & tasks on multiple PCs?

    I get an error while doing the synchronization between the "BOLD" and MS Outlook Calendar.

    Laptop PC <--->"BOLD" desktop PC<--->

    (1) I started with Outlook on my desktop PC data and 4.7 BB Desktop Manager (DM) to synchronize to "BOLD".

    ....................... "BOLD"<---- desktop="">

    Good results.

    (2) I had 4.5 (supplied with the phone) BB Desktop on laptop and empty Outlook so I synchronize had "BOLD" for laptop.

    Laptop PC<---- bold="">

    Good results.

    (3) I added an item to the calendar of the laptop PC & re-synch should get the new item on the "BOLD".

    Laptop PC <--->"BOLD"...

    Good results.

    (4) I connected the "BOLD" to the desktop & synch't try to get the item to transfer on the desktop.

    ....................... "BOLD" of desktop PC<--->

    Got the error for the first time!

    (5) on the laptop, I removed the new element & re-synch would be for the "BOLD" (of course, I know that a deletion of software isn't necessarily a real deletion on the database itself - a simple change of the indicator that identifies the line/record as being in the "Deleted" State so that the software is no longer the poster). But I had to see if it would solve the problem.

    Laptop PC <--->"BOLD"...

    Good results.

    (6) I connected the "BOLD" for the desktop PC & synch would again.

    ....................... "BOLD" of desktop PC<--->

    Had the same error.

    7) ??? Back to the laptop. Perhaps the error is caused by incompatibility between a PC running BB DS 4.5 and the other 4.7? I removed DS 4.5 & installed 4.7. Synch was "BOLD".

    Laptop PC <--->"BOLD"...

    Good results.

    (8) I connected the "BOLD" for the desktop PC & synch would again.

    ....................... "BOLD" of desktop PC<--->

    Had the same error.

    Question 2: Anyone knows the file name & where I can zap/remove the MS Outlook data file so that I could start from scratch on a PC?

    Hi and welcome to the forums!

    The problem on the desktop is the imtellisync folder.

    Please see the instructions in the attached link.

  • Smartphones blackBerry how to remove calendar items

    I have a storm and love it, but have hit a snag with it.  I get 2 of each item in the calendar, and a purple line next to her and with a green line.  I talked to Verizon and they could not help me then, here I am.  I'm syncing with Outlook 2007.  How can I get everything out of my Storm calendar and then synchronize with Outlook to get one of each on the storm and no 2 of them?  Or how she put to make me one of each item on my Storm and no 2 if it's easier?

    Thank you

    Ron

    Ok.  Has had another idea.  If you go to the function of "Back up and Restore" BB Desktop Manager, then choose "Advanced", the area on the right, "databases of the device" will show all the stuff on your device.  If you scroll down and select "Calendar" and click 'Clear' it will delete all appointments in your calendar.  You can then re - sync with Outlook.
