  In your code, you always go back during the first iteration because you return instructions in the two branches of the If condition. The solution is to move the return null (successful validation result) statement after and outside the cycle.

  In the specifications is mentioned that the impedance between HAVE + and GND AI is > 100 GOhms parallel 100 PF..  Thus, the input capacitance must be 100 PF.

• Move the cursor to data entry in the first element of array

  It seems that it should be simple, and that I still can't find a way to do this.

  I want to have a dialogue VI with a single Berry. When loading of the dialog, I want the data entry cursor to appear in the first element of the array, so the user can begin to enter data with the keyboard and I can't click on it with the mouse and then tab on the rest of the table. The property node 'Key Focus' just seems to give me a box around the entire table without any cursor active data entry.

  A table control has a property called array element. Get a reference to it and its main objective set to true. I just spent a few minutes test this and it didn't work for me if I first got the reference, then turn the key a second property node, rather than doing everything in one implicit property node. In addition, it still affects the update to the second element of the array, which is certainly not too useful. I have not found a way around that in my brief tests, unfortunately.

• How to create a multidimensional array constant?

  I have a code where I'm trying to mathematically manipulate tables in a while loop. I was counting on multiplying one table by a constant, but on the second iteration the constant actually eventually change to an array of different constants *. So, I would define an array of constants to a single value. I did it using the 'constant matrix. I stuck a double constant Interior point and wired it me terminal. A problem I have is that the size of the array is not matching my another Bay. In the box to the left of my constant value double point, I put in '10' because the size of the table I want is 10. Instead of generating a table of 10 elements with all the same constant, it created... uh... nothing. I received null: []. What I am doing wrong?

  Then, is it possible to set the length of this array based on the length of another table? For example, the table I want to work with that is 10 items, but it may not ALWAYS be 10 items. I would like to put in some flexibility so that if it passes 30 items, the constant table that I create will be smart enough to know that it must also be an array of 30 items.

  Fairly new to Labview and I'm trying to sort out how to create a table of images. I know that the total number of images I want in my 'stamp' (not the buffer of LabView), so I'm the initialization of an array of this size. Can I bring this table in a loop For with a shift register, and I want to capture images and write them in the table of the buffe continuously (a comment: I do a circular buffer, but I don't want to implement in LabView, because there a lot of things that I don't need and I will eventually have to the process to be as thin as possible).

  Here's the problem (I assume an implementation, that does not decompose LabView):

  I expect:

  AN element of the array, in the position indicated by the index of the loop [i], is replaced by the image newly caught

  I get:

  All THE elements of the array becomes the image newly caught.

  (I can tell because I taste under the table, grabbing a single image from a constant "Check Array" index - may 7, for example.) But my index of the loop [i] value is 13, and the subsample becomes again the image newly caught.

  What a ridiculous thing I am doing wrong?

  Ah, I just noticed something.  Initialize you an array of references at the beginning of your program, but it is a complete picture OF THE SAME REFERENCE: you must call the IMAQ Create in a loop so that you actually get unique references in your table.  You must have a different NAME for each image.

• Data entry on the host VI without FIFO Massive?

  Hi guys,.

  First post on the boards and about two weeks in LV in time real/FPGA so be gentle!

  I'm data capture of a system using a CRio 9082 and Converter A/D NI9215. The FPGA vi runs a timed loop (10 US or 100kS/s) that pulls in the data and sends them to a target-to-Host DMA FIFO (4096 long, single precision). Since I want to synchronize data for a TTL output, the FPGA also sends a True/False value through a port DIO (NI9402). So, for example, if I want a TTL of 100 Hz pulse and time of the loop is 10 US, then a complete cycle of TTL will last 1000 loops with the half cycle lasts 500 loops. Both the position in the LIFE cycle (0-1000) and the acquired data to that position in the cycle are intertwined in the FIFO. I have attached a picture of the VI.

  The host vi simply reads the values of the FIFO, decimating the interlaced output and stores the data in a table for later processing. I have also attached a picture of the host vi. The problem is that the data acquisition time could be as high as 10 seconds, which would mean that the FIFO host-side would be long 2 million items!

  SO my question is how to change the host vi so that rather than wait as the FIFO side host to be filled, its size can be reduced and yet not lose data points in the table fill? One can rightly wonder why I did things like that, but I found that fill a massive FIFO ensures that I do not lose the continuous position TTL data, but then I thought it was totally ineffective and some sage advice is necessary!

  My advice would be to do the following:

  (1) configure FIFO depth to be quite large not to overflow during a regular operation, but don't try to configure it to keep your entire dataset in a single shot.

  (2) If you send only the integers to the FIFO, do not configure it for double rooms.

  (3) instead of voting for a whole dataset, you can read the smaller packets of the target and build them together on the host. Pop, a delay in your in a loop to read each 10/100 ms, 0 items via a FIFO Read, out of the remaining elements of wireless node to the number of items in a FIFO read node entry. It will take all that is in the FIFO at this stage. Using a registry to offset, concatenate the table with table of the previous iteration and stop all loop when the length of the array reaches the number wanted items.

  You might need to play to ensure that the order of the data in the FIFO is not flipped depending on when you start and stop acquisition, but at least it's a start.

• Difficulty the front Dimension of the array, but allow the user to change the size of the array

  I know there are a few other posts on table and scroll bars but mine is a little different. I want to have the physical size of the fixed table control and allow the user to change the size of the array as required and a scroll bar if the number of elements exceeds the specified physical dimension. I wouldn't mind if, at the end of the scroll bar, the user sees an uninitialized element.

  The problem I have with the property Num Row node is it seems to replace the scroll bar. Whenever I try to change the line number, the table automatically resizes its physical size on the front and the scroll bar has no effect.

  However, I solved the problem by taking row completely digital. I just said if the table size is > to a constant value (i.e. 3), add a scroll bar and my front panel dashboard to be a size larger than what the value of this constant is size. Once I begin to add values in sequential order and I get to the fourth value, the scroll bar is added and the scroll bar has a feature where it adds an element of null for you, so if I fill this null element I just increased the size of the table and another null element appears underneath.

  An application for review of experience, I would like to use a table for the entry of the experimenter.  The experimenter type in the values they choose, usually less than ten years, and the LabView program to use each value based on the size of the array.  All is good on any other installation requiring more values and the initial installation, the table will grow well.  The following configuration should require fewer values that table continues to impose values for diversity is entered until the table is initialized on start.  A reset button resets the table obviously but requires an additional control, training of users and frustration when forgotten and values entered before resetting.  Is it possible, for example to remove surplus values, to reduce the size of the array?

  I'm learning about the handling of tables.  The example finder includes this one, 'build array_forum.vi', which shows the two modes, concatenate and adding, I understand, HOWEVER, I can't understand how they built this vi.  For example, I can find the Array function to build, but I do not understand how they created the "digital data table 1" "data table 2" digital... etc, and I can't find the functions on the pallets that cause display "build the CONCATENATE entries table". ".  Where are these blue functions?

  Where these functions are found in the palette, and how we build them like that?

  The other vi indicated here, 'for loop array_forum.vi' is my attempt to reproduce, but it doesn't show all the elements of the array; However, it only displays a SINGLE element, the last element of the array.  How can I view all the items in the table I am creating using the FOR LOOP?  I am doing something wrong with the LOOP FOR?

  Right-click your scoreboard, uncheck the "Display as icon" and see what happens.  There are two ways of viewing terminals, most of us like the simple point of view, the default value is the display of the icon.

• Change the value of the array element without using the keyboard

  I have a control array on my front, say 1 d, 10 items.

  In addition, the front panel should be used with a touch screen, so I have a Subvi keyboard that should be called when I choose one of the elements of the array.  Therefore, no keyboard entry is allowed.

  My question is, how can I determine which element that the user hit/clicked?... .and how to change this value?

  Gents nevermind, found a way to emphasise that if this is the best way, but I got it.

  In my structure of the event, I have an event looking for the mouse event down in regards to the control array.  This event triggers my screen touch keyboard Subvi to fire, and the closure of the Subvi I pass its value to the ArrElem.Value property to assign the table a hit/clicked item.  Works.

  Problem... I want to create a unique string item. My entry is an array of integers 1 d of two elements, for example (10, 5) and the output should be a part of string in the form of "10.5." Just a single item and not a table. Any tips or ideas?

  You may need to remove the character from end of line that arise.

  Alternatively, if you know it's always 2 items.  Index table and food for both outputs in Format to a string with %s, %s format code.

• Puzzled by changing the size of the array of Bell Curve (or made gaussien)

  I use an instrument which entered a table 1 d signal. When you draw the it, it looks a lot like a Gaussian function (it looks very good too).

  What I want to do is to change the size of the array of this input function (basically I want to increase the size of table).

  For example, when you look at the picture attached, you will see that the size of the curve in the picture on the left, which is the GROSS ENTRY, 70 =.

  What I want to do is to change this size to a number of interest (for example, let's say 80)...

  So basically I want to insert 10 new numbers in the table (in random places), but I want these 10 numbers to fit on the best-fit-the signal line (like you see in the image to the right).

  So I tried to use Gaussian worthy, and cubic spline worthy... etc but none of these features allow me to change the size of the table of the output to adapt.

  Any of them do not give you the equation of the line of best - fit either... so I can't solve Y for a known X.

  It is very important for me to continue my project.

  Look at the palette under Interpolation in the math palette.  You can find something that will work for you.  It will not add points on the equation, but should allow you to get more points along your curve.
