ENVY 100 D410a failed AirPrint

How can I set up my printer to have a different printing defect, when a print job is coming from my iPhone 4 via AirPrint vs the default I have configured for e-mail.

Nope.  It is designed to be an interface for quick and easy printing for printing through your mobile device without having to install software, etc.  You might want to try HP iPrint.  It is a free application that will allow you a greater amount of customization.

Thank you.  I had already tried who and re - install the software, get all the updates, disconnect the unit and everything.  Finally decided to buy a new HP cartridge and not use the filled (from another source).  The color cartridge is HP one even if the printer is now saying that it is not!  So I went on the color cartridge and voila!  I can now copy and scan.  OFF to buy a new HP color cartridge.

  • Problem scanner HP HP CN517A - HP ENVY 100 - D410a

The scanner makes a horrible noise when I turn on the printer as if scanning bar is working, but cannot cross the whole bed scan.  I can print from my PC without any problem but can not scan or copy.

If you can not make a copy of the standalone printer, without the computer, it's a hardware problem. You will need to contact the HP Support (1800-474-6836).

  • I configured my printer (envy 100 D410A) online, but I can't eprint for my printer.

I have send an email to my e-mail address of hp & it does not work.

    Hi sbcdtc,

Try to check the desire for updates. Go to 'Setup' > "Web Menu" > "Product updates" > "check for updates". If there is an available update then let it install. After the update is installed the printer restarts itself. Once she comes back to life, search for the product updates once more to ensure that there is not another. Then try to send an e-mail to the address printer again. Also, you can check the status of your ePrint on www.eprintcenter.com jobs

Although I work for HP, my messages and responses are my own opinion and not of HP.

If I have solved your problem, please do not hesitate to provide laurels and make sure that you mark this thread as provided solution!

  • HP Envy 100 D410a can't see mac apple printer so don't scan at him

I installed the software from the disc supplied and all functions of work outside the mac function analysis. He couldn't get any computer to scan to. I use a wireless through a router connection cable Netgear WGR614. My mac is a Mac OS 10.6.6 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB RAM.

I followed the HP Web site suggestions and uninstalled the HP, dumped preferences software, repair disk permissions and reinstalled the correct software from the Web site. I also got an update from HP printer via the software update later and gave the mac and printer an IP address manually.

The scan-back function found my mac but the software scan-back on the mac went into a loop, and I had to force quit. I decided to reboot the wireless router, the mac and the printer but the printer is returned to a State where he could not find the mac.

Discussion on the HP site suggests that PCs must be set to "Enable analysis for computer" whenever they are turned on or awakened from his sleep. It notes, however, that it is not necessary for macs, that it happens automatically.

Please can someone help? Thank you very much.

    Hi Randy.

Thank you very much for your advice.

    I followed the road of:

Full CV uninstall-> restart mac-> add a printer in the preferences and download the latest Apple HP drivers for 10.6-> complete HP drivers from the HP website.

The scan for mac worked worked the first time.

Amazing it is really as simple as the order in which the different drivers are installed. Sounds simple in hindsight, but there was no way to guess that at time of initial installation.

I am very grateful to you - it was driving me crazy!

  • Unable to get web services reactivated on Envy 100 D410

My envy 100 D410a was once working with ePrint, but has not been used for a while.  I've recently switched to connected HP and had to re - register the printer.  The news to save the printer would not print.

After trying a few times, I removed the web services and then tried to turn it back on, but every time I get the message "problem connecting to the web services server.

I have the Group of experts through the troubleshooting to restart the printer, restart the router, nothing helps.  I have currently set an IP address manually and can print wireless via a laptop, but not ePrint and no web service.

I tried to configure the servers manual DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (via the printer IP address URL), but whenever I try, I get an error:

    An error has occurred. (wipv4Page-400)
    Click 'OK' to go back

    The current firmware is: SLM1CN1039HR.

SOLVED!   This can be closed.  I did a factory reset, but not on the tab network/section.  Once I did this and restarted the printer, web services could be reactivated.  I can now access the printer via HPEPrint.

  • HP Envy 100 eAll-in-one printer D410b

I recently bought this printer and I meet a love hate relationship with it. Most of the problems have to do with ePrint. After reviewing the ePrint Forum, it seems that most of the problems originate from an unstable ePrint server.

My question is: has anyone installed and used this printer? It looks elegant in the family room (not your printer typical aspect). I like the way he reacts to print applications:

-The door opens and the display will change to indicate an impression begins

    -Out the output tray extension

    -The document is printed

-When I pick up the paper from the printer, the output extension tray retracts to the printer

-At this point (or after a short timeout) I expect the door closes, but is not

-The display goes off and the printer between what I'll call hypernation mode waiting to be awakened for the next print job

My second question is: anyone knows the door that closes by itself? That seems to be the logical operation when the printer is in mode "hybernation. Then, it was not designed this way (design control), it was not implemented like that (faulty manufacture), or my printer is defective. Responds to everyone?

Finally the FW update is here. I tried and tried to get this update, but the printer keeps you answer that there are no updates, until I did a reset full semi of the printer. 5 packages where downloaded and installed and the result...

THIS WORKED, THE DOOR CLOSED AFTER PRINTING!

I tried the different steps of the printer, Eve---> print---> door closes

    farm online--> print--> door control

Now I can really enjoy my Envy 100 D410A.

  • Why Multicolor vertical lines appear in digital images (preview and printed) using Envy 100?

I do not often use of Scan function.  When I tried to copy an element, a few weeks ago, I had a vertical mulicolored Strip approximately 3/8 ' wide down right side about 1' of the edge.  Band appears in the copy print and preview before printing.  Unplug unit does not resolve the problem.  Hardware problem?  The user of the scanner cover is replaceable?  ENVY 100 (D410a series, p/n CN517A) is less than 2 years old, but more under warranty.

  • HP Envy 100 series - printer constantly looking for update

After you have purchased and installed my printer of the Envy 100 (model D410a) series I keep having trouble with the touch screen of the printer constantly looking for an update (reading message - do not power down during the update). The machine does not appear to be an update, but I can't to the normal homepage for the touchscreen, which means that I can't scan, copy, or download from the internet.

As the printer allows me to print from my iPad 2 and from the office, I guess he has a connection with the router, but it isn't just internet sourcing for download. How to return to the normal homepage for screen touch printer?

    Hello

It seems that the printer fails to initialize during the update of the Firmware.

In order to get the problem solved, try the following fix:

    1. temporary connect the printer to your computer using a USB bable.
    2. Run the following patch, depending on your operating system version:
    3. If the device fails to recover, contact center local HP support for servicing the unit:

Probably, you need to delete the current program printer and install a new copy of the software full functionality.

  • HP Envy 100 v, 110 v 114

    Hello

First of all I'm new here so please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.

Basically, I'm after a new wireless printer, I have been looking at the HP Envy 114 because of its wireless & Airprint capability.

I want this camera in black, they have on the Apple store online for £220.

However, I found the model Envy 100 £125, nine - this seems to be a huge price difference for (that I can see) not a lot of difference in functionality.

Is not wrong in thinking that the only difference between the 100 and 114 is double-sided printing and installation of eFax?

If these are the only two differences between these two models, so I may as well go with the model 100 and save me about £100.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post!

From what I can tell, the differences between the Envy 100 and 114 are minimal, as you say.

The 114 has slightly better black print quality (1200 dpi vs 600 dpi) but the quality of the colors is the same for both products.  The 114 will also be printing/scanning slightly faster than the 100.  The 114 eFax, but from what I can tell the Envy 100 print double-sided and feature (here's a link to the data sheet/sheet: http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2010/InnovationSummit/Envy_100_Datasheet.pdf).

And, here's the datasheet for the 114.  http://www.shopping.HP.com/shopping/PDF/cq811a.PDF

Looks like the 100 will be very good to meet your needs.

    Hope that helps!
